Apparently gas is really scarce and precious in rural India. These people need to be very sparse with it. There was another Indian guy on another channel reacting to Rammstein and he was dismayed at all the pyrotechnics during the concert as he considered that a waste of useful (he did like Rammstein though).
But if we trust Tolkein? They can grow up WELL.

I love them celebrating Smaug's death and then only realising the movie has yet to actually begin.
For those of you who do not know, just before the Lord of the Rings events, Balin led an exhibition to reclaim Moria where Oin was unfortunately snatched by the Watcher in the Water at the entrance of the Mines while trying to flee orcs, Barlin had died fighting against orcs while several dwarfs fought for days to defend his tomb, including Ori whom happened to be the very skeleton that Gandalf found next to Balin's tomb and took the very Book of Mazarbul from his hands to read the final entry to the Fellowship, Dwalin, Nori, Dori, Bifur, Bofur and Bombur remained in the Lonely Mountain and probably took part in the War of the Ring when Sauron sent a force of Easterlings and orcs North while Gloin was at the Council of Elrond.
the very fact they are unsure if the places exist or not... goes to show how great the effects are (alongside the beauty that is new zealand)

I love the way those villagers see and perceive the movie! They see it with such a pure heart, and their wits are so funny! I really wish I could have some tea with them, watching movies and talkking, they are so fun to be around and very kind people

It's a blend of Chewing tobacco AKA 'Gutka'. I believe this maybe one of the reasons for his missing teeth tbh. He was definitely missing it in Saudi Arabia,he spoke about it a few times.

Been waiting for this. I loved Hobbit trilogy
You can tell though that this movie didn't leave them with as lasting impression as Return of the King, despite being the end of a trilogy. Still I'm glad they got to see the both trilogies.
It's ok if The Hobbit isn't as epic. After all it's only the beginning of the adventure.

Yes. Which is good. It shows they have taste and don't just accept everything that's put in front of them. They're of course highly deferential and courteous about it and still respect the makers. But it's clear that this was a cheaper experience for them.
I don't think they've ever responded negatively to any movie. Even Scary Movie was praised (which isn't a bad movie, but one they wouldn't be able to appreciate for what it was). And Babu also said Deadpool did an excellent job at entertaining people (which seems like veiled criticism) maybe they're worried about offending the audience, or maybe they genuinely enjoy everything in some sense.

And make sure it's Batman Begins (2005) Dark Knight (2008) and Dark Knight Rises (2012). It'd be confusing and jarring if they were shown other Batman movies before they've seen these three.
@@pinkfloydguy7781 Yes, getting to James Bond will be interesting as well. I hope they do Pierce Brosnan first and then Daniel Craig. This is because Pierce Brosnan's movies get more crazy over time, and then the whole franchise is rebooted on Casino Royale. It would be interesting to see them respond to that reset and it gives them an idea of how reboots work in Hollywood.
I think they both missed the central character for both LotR and the Hobbit - Sauron.
It was he who crafted the One ring . Galadriel is not "an angel" but an Elf and the scene at Dol Guldur where she banishes the Necromancer/Sauron sets up the scene for the whole LotR trilogy.
Yes, but the fact that they didn't quite pick up on that but still understood and enjoyed both trilogies is testament to Tolkien's artistry and Jackson's masterful skills in translating everything to the screen. Understanding the overarching plot isn't necessary to understand the overall story, it's themes and messages. That's the mark of genius level storytelling.

it was filmed in New Zeeland ----It does exist.
But most of it is a set in New Zealand.
Smaug really did a lot of damage to Lake Town. And Smaug could have found a different mountain to live in instead of the dwarf mountain.
Dragons crave gold and treasure though, and not any mountain will contain Dwarven hordes of endless riches!

JRR Tolkien definately help father other stories, including Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. The makers of those stories happily admit their influence by this story.
Y'know, if I were an otherwise indestructible dragon with a single point of vulnerability I'd use my fire to weld the breastplate of a dwarf or something I ate over it. Presto: completely indestructible dragon! Also I wouldn't be a dick and burn towns.

I absolutely love Tolkiens work but apart from the Galadriel & Sauron part this movie is rough 😆 One of the most anti climactic movies ever made.
It's a shame they made the Hobbit into a trilogy. Would have been far better as two movies, this last one was a write off. Alien and Aliens I want to see them react to sometime!
