I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. I went with the Tucson because I wanted AWD. It has been one of the biggest mistakes. The first was getting a Hyundai. They don’t care about their consumers. My car has been blowing headlights- having electrical issues (my auto windows go back down when you roll them up, my rear windshield wipers go off whenever they want, my break light seems to go on and off at random. I have reached out because as a company they should only want the best products out there. I was told that “because my car is over 3 years old. There is nothing they can do for me. To bring it to a dealer and “see what I can get” for it. I owe more than it’s worth because one thing they don’t tell you when you buy a Hyundai is they depreciate way faster than you can make payments to survive. DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI.

My last car was a lemon produced by Toyota, which is considered one of the most reliable vehicle companies. I had put so much money in repairs, I finally decided not to repair the last break down and move on.
i prefer the 2020 front much more and in general, the 2020 would be my choice over the 2021. I like these comparison videos. its good for people who want that brand and might not know about updates or NEW looks . That's a good idea for your channel diversity Charlie . have a great weekend

I have a 2020 and I like the exterior more BUT I definitely like the interior of the 2021 more. The 2020 interior is decent.

I think the 2020 front end looks better more cohesive and original. They should've just made some evolutionary changes not changes for the sake of making changes.

Charlie if your able to talk to hyundai design team please tell them " we know your trying hard to be different, modern, cool but its gotta look good first and foremost not just different. Kia is killing it. All their models look great. Hyundai looks kinda different to put it mildly.
I agree with you, Charles. Previous model looks much nicer. And I don't really like where Hyundai is heading with the new front face designs of the Sonata, Elantra and the upcoming Kona either.

I have a 2020 Limited AWD 2.4 it does not have sliding rear seats or third row seating. A wonderful car, very happy with it

Good point! The previous model had bigger 2nd row air vents with cubby space and flip-covered usb ports, which is best. I think hidden type mufflers works best with the new design, it gives that clean look and hides those soot covered muffler tips in the long run; for both gas and diesel engines.
Yes, hidden muffler doesn't look bad on this 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe, but i sure prefer 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe's exhaust better. Thank you Titan520.

Nice comparison of the two. I've noticed that the Santa Fe in other markets still have the third row seating, something they did away with in North America when the debut the Palisade. I even remember the 2013 Santa Fe Sport, a five seater, selling in other markets with a THIRD row! They offered a stretched Santa Fe GLS with the third row in the middle of the 2013 production year. Of course the diesel is available almost everywhere but the N.A. market.

Really like your concept of this review. And I really like the new design and that they decided to hide the exhaust tips. To me it looks more symmetrical, I will say if they came up with a N-Performance there should be exhaust tips on both sides not one sided.
Btw question, is there an isofix on the center of the second row seat? Or do you think a booster seat can be fitted on to the center if I had an isofix seat placed on the side. Has the stiff steering been fixed, has the poorly tuned suspension fixed? Has the shaking disappeared on a flat road? Did they fix the problem with poor quality windshields?

I had a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe with a third row so I go down to get another one and I found out in 2018 they stopped making the third row so I am a proud owner of the Hyundai Palisade SEL baby

I think the issue with the 2021 model is where the grill meets with the headlights. IMO they should have kept it separated with the body of the vehicle. It's not that the overall design looks bad compared to the 2020, IMO it actually looks a little more sleek. Just that separation with the body color IMO would've looked so much better.

My car is a Hyundai Santa Fe 2020 3.5 6V engine... And it's really powerful. The only issue: lack of cargo space while I deploy the 7 seats. There is almost nothing cargo space.

The smaller air vents probably push the same quantity of air, now because the vents are smaller they will push out the air faster because it is pushing the same amount of air through a smaller opening. This is called the Venturi Effect and it is the same effect you experience with shower heads or your kitchen sink or garden hose, to get water to come out faster.

For the past few months I’ve been looking into buy a Santa Fe but it seems they have different little features here in North America. For example I would have preferred that the start up feature is in the key itself ,but Apparently the Hyundai in North America we have to download an APP in order to start the vehicle? Does anybody know why its so different here?

Hey leslie, I live in toronto and bought Santafe 2020 few weeks ago. You can get the remote starter for $300. But i am ok with Bluelink provided by hyundai.

I love (and I have bought) the 2020 version. I don't really like this new grill too much, except with dark colors. Some too much snake-like, maybe? Good job with the new interior, it's better by far, except the second row space for left phone with charging. I like the new rear turn leds but I prefer the 2020 version with the pipes seen, and the chrome metallic line between the lights, it looks to me more sporty than this new 2021 version.

The outside looks good on the 2021 but I hate how they designed the center console.
In Indonesia, it's impossible to get 2021 Sorento. They stop importing since 2013. So I guess I stick with the 2020 2,2 Diesel santa fe since it's the only santa fe available here...

Nice upgrades toward a more luxurious interior. The turn signals, especially in the back, are terrible! Too small and TOO LOW! Need indicators raised up where they can be quickly seen by other drivers

The third row is reserved for the closely related KIA Sorento. Likewise, the 2020 Sorento offers a 3.3L naturually aspirated V6 that's not available in the Santa Fe.
I had a 2013 I went down to buy another one and found out they stopped making a third row in 2018 so now I have a Hyundai Palisade
That's because they want you to buy the Palisade.
@@rsasllc-houseflipping6917 That explanation is less convincing considering that KIA offers 3 rows in the Sorento. Apparently without concern that the feature will cannibalize sales of the Telluride.
I think more likely is that Hyundai slots the Santa Fe as a "tweener" two row SUV between compact and midsize rivals. It's meant to appeal to consumers who would otherwise be attracted to the top trims of vehicles like the Rogue, Tiguan, the CRV and the RAV4 but who want more interior space. Advertising and pricing is pitched in exactly that direction.
The black looks the best in my opinion. I brought the black on black. I don't like the black grill pattern on the Calligraphy. I have the SEL with the con. package. I like everything about the 2021 Sante Fe. I like the five seats. I would have not brought the Sante Fe with seven seats. I got my Sante Fe in January of 2021 in America (Arkansas). The rims on the SEL looks the best. I like the size. In America. I they don't come with a third row. It is so much more room without the third row seat. I look at the Calligraphy but I didn't like the black from grill. But, I do like the back of the 2020 Sante Fe. My Sante Fe 2021 has an exhaust on the right back.
