We've got two bin shops in our town! A goodwill one that's a buck a pound and a similar one to this that just opened! I'm a high school senior and I shop the goodwill one for my side hustle instead of working and its great! I do about 2k a month if I stay on top of things! I'd definitely recommend checking these bin places out, whether it be for reselling or just for fun!
Hello! I have just opened a new Bin Store inside the Bowling Alley, Lake Wales Bowl, at the Eagle Ridge Mall in Lake Wales, Florida. The address of the mall is 950 Eagle Ridge Dr, North, East Mall Entrance, Lake Wales, FL 33898 Thank you for the support!
So what do you do if after Wednesday you have still have a lot of excess product? Does it just get recycled into the following week? In addition, you would have to apply for a wholesalers license to start sourcing from amazon? I am interested in starting one, I just graduated from college but really want to get involved. Thanks for the video!
Hey there!!! Just found your bin store video-- or should I say collection of videos!! I cannot SLEEP - this is FABULOUS! FOR Sooo many reasons! Thank you for teaching some trade secrets! Here in wisconsin we have a couple goodwill outlets- but...some of the stuff is DISGUSTING- The stomach toss feeling is a negative inside that warehouse. Have you ever considered industrial castor wheels with locks so you can roll the bins...or a two tier bin...meaning you can lower it to fill & then raise it to a shopping height? This is so exciting!
@@LiquidationMotivation my husband builds all types of storage...wheels with locks saves our backs! We are both in our 40's but active! Also, have you done pop up bins? Like you have built in bins in a trailer or cargo vehicle- 30 minutes at each park or spot on a saturday! No one knows until you announce it...10 minutes before first stop!! Sort of like a flash mob for shopping- the only permit you should need is like for an ice cream truck!!
Your question should be addressed to YOU, not him. What he pays for a load has nothing to do with how much YOU will pay for a load. Do your research, make the phone calls and then tell us how much YOU pay for YOUR truck loads....... which by the way, will have nothing to do with how much anyones else might pay for their truck loads. I pay $45 for my washers and dryers and buy them in bulk but no one else in the world gets them that cheap from the same place that I get mine. Everyone else pays $65-$105, so see, each business will pay a different price, depending where and who you buy from.... and depending who you are.
Greenville SC is polluted with these stores now. Looking for a location now in an area that doesn’t have this concept to open. This is a very profitable business if you can source the product like he said.
I wish the stores like this in Georgia didnt cherry pick everything. I use to do great as a reseller at these type stores. Every single one of them now just dump the junk in the bins.
If i wanted to open one up in my town, what would you recommend I should do first. I have a location just wanting to know more about how much product I should start with
'Bin Stores' are on the way out and 'Pile Stores' are the new thing. "Out with the old, in with the piled-up chaos! Move over 'Bin Stores,' because 'Pile Stores' are the hot new trend in town. Say goodbye to neatly organized rows of bins and hello to a glorious mess of piles! Picture this: a homewares pile so high you need a ladder to reach the good stuff, a food pile where you can dig for buried snacks like an archaeological expedition gone wild, a toiletries pile where you might find shampoo next to toothpaste and candles (because who doesn't want minty-fresh hair and a romantic bath all in one?), and a cosmetics pile where you can try your luck at finding your perfect shade buried under a mountain of mascara tubes. At 'Pile Stores,' we've taken the mundane task of shopping and turned it into a thrilling treasure hunt. No more meticulously organized aisles-where's the fun in that? Here, every visit is an adventure. Will you stumble upon a hidden gem or unearth a long-forgotten treasure? The possibilities are as endless as our piles!
For every one item stolen you probably sell 500. Volume not value!!! I'm barely starting to look into this. Quick question.....realistically how much capital would you need to start assuming everything else is in order? And how many employees do u have
I don't know much about bin stores, that is a really cool concept and I could see the draw, keeping the bins full must be the hardest part. Really cool stuff.
Hi Tom, thanks for these videos I’m really inspired. Do you think this business model would work in Los Angeles? I was looking at the SQ ft prices and its double Lakeland FL. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I think it would work anywhere if you can find the inventory. Its the hardest part. You should have a ton of opportunities in LA to source it. Start looking up liquidation and closeout companies in your are. Good Luck!!
Hello there im in Wisconsin, anyone know who to get sourced by for inventory. I absolutely love this idea, currently looking for a place but I'm also thinking about inventory
@@alejandrobarajas486 I'm in southwest Michigan and get inventory from the Damian at Nice Find Wholesale in Aurora, IL - they have a great youtube channel lots of experience and are the only reputable guys I've visited here in the Midwest. Check them out on YT or FB!
How are you sourcing the inventory low enough to justify the 5.00 days? If you are getting a truckload for say 11,000.00 if the breakdown of the item is 2.00 per item....you charge 5.00 max that is a 3.00 profit but then you have the insurance, the rent, the payroll, utilities. So where is the actual profit ?
Go clean up that junk store in Winter Haven Deal Daze , there is nothing but garbage sharp broken returned items at your store . Customers are not allowed to use the Restroom ,The raffle is rigged ,only new customers win so they can return .Seen and heard and everyone knows the staff picks through the items before they open the door for customers. When the Lakeland Manager delivers and unloads the pallets customers find great items .So the owner needs to take a trip out there early unannounced and surprise the staff and see for him self how many items he sent are in the bins as well as the condition of the bins and store . How can you own a store and not visit to see about your investment. Get real !
Thank you, your videos are very helpful. Do you get lot of fradulent chargebacks? Lets say some one bought an item and was not happy for some reason and because of no return policy, they can't return the item either.. Any issues with those kind of situations?
In live around STL and would LOVE to open a bin store. I think we would do well here. I just need to convince the hubs that I can quit my real job to live out my dream of my fun time job!
I agree, everyone should do what they love and not tie themselves to a crappy job their whole life. I don't think that's what LIVING is all about. Good Luck!!

I know there are a few good companies up there that sell truck loads. I think Xcess Limited is one. Once you start looking around they are plentiful. Plus you can always buy off of Bstock. Good Luck!!

It amazes me that seattle area does not have one! Maybe, you could start a location there and i would run it for you ;)
I have to say I like you store
I only hope and strive to have something like this really soon!!! Yep...let me manifest this starting now!!!!!!
Well I say good luck to you. Me and my brother are driving as well to do something like that
Got it, see you in a few weeks.
Great video. Do you ship pallets?
Brilliant stuff. The dream is to be able to one day have enough capital to start doing this myself.
Where do you get the products to sell?
We have bins in ohio and i brought a beautiful blue modern style accent chair and a gorgeous blue, large round tufted ottoman

Question- How many bins does it take to stock your store? High count 800-100? How much are you paying a truckload?
we have 60 4x8 bins. it takes about 12 tall pallets of bulk merchandise to fill them.

Glad you enjoyed it
Can you please make a video explaining how to get inventory as a starter.

Costco

How in chargebacks percent of you gross are you getting by doing card only? I like the idea of card only and seems like the way to go. Thank you.
I was thinking the same lol
Are there rules like no opening boxes etc ?
Do you carry liability insurance?
It’s funny because I have been to a lot of bin stores near me and never seen this many people!! How did you get all these people
