So glad to hear that somebody's really being honest and telling exactly how it is this is exactly why I shut down my warehouse in the next two months

Tom it's Ed from Global Gorilla Wholesales, thanks for sticking up for the small guy. The suppliers are getting the bad wrap. When I get something bad I blame the suppliers. The brokers don't care because they are invisible. You would thing the suppliers would wake up and start selling to us.

This is why I gave up on this business. Impossible to get suppliers and you constantly get trash for pallets. It’s impossible now unless you have deep connections which most people can’t get because they are all taken up by the big companies. I gave up last year 😔.

I don't purchase truckloads however, when sourcing on B-stock and other sites, I take into account the approximate piece count and estimated MSRP (which is rarely accurate) to determine the per item value in the lot. If that comes out to less than $40 MSRP per piece, I pass. The reason is, when you buy customer return units, you will generally only be able resell them for around half the true MSRP and sometimes less than that. I don't want to be stuck with a bunch of $10 items and I certainly don't want to get stuck with empty pallets. This formula can be used on any size lot to determine the per item value and it will help you weed out some of these bad lots. - Flippin Aint Easy

The 40/40/40 right? I actually used your formula a couple times , so thank you for that. You should share that breakdown, I will back you on it.

You are absolutely right. It's cheaper to buy a flight ticket instead you get screwed with thousands of dollars. In my opinion to make a group with trusted brokers and black list brokers.

I promise that the big retailers and merchants send a live buyer to check the trucks and granted a relationship only after proving themselves. Totally worth airfare.
Wire Transfers are exactly same as CASH. Once it is sent, the money is gone.
The banks all understand that if they send cash to an account and it is accepted by the person receiving it, game over. Even if they make the mistake, it is gone.

Immediately! And we should add when a broker is charging more than a couple thousand dollars if you happen to have a general idea of the original cost I can understand I'm charging a couple thousand but sometimes it really is 5 to $10,000 upcharge and it's ridiculous

Great video, if you do something to help eliminate those dirty brokers, and create a coop I will sign up. It is not fair we buy quality pallets and we receive crap that goes to the dump with 0 profit for us.

My entire business was taken from me because of shitty people. They decided to rob my storage unit and take $20,000 (what i paid) in inventory. I know to some that seems like nothing. But to me it was everything. I reinvestedd every penny back to inventory and now its gone. I hate people. They dont care who they screw over or who they hurt.

I absolutely LOVE this guy and his winning attitude!
Grinning and bearing it is how we KEEP getting screwed!
We have to have a way to get back at the people that screw us and “having a positive attitude” doesn’t stop it!
Also, For the Love of God, please get the videographer to fix the focal length. I know everyone with a DSLR has to have a blurry background so it looks “cinematic”… but it would be so much more enjoyable to have YOU in focus! Give that slow-ass autofocus a break and increase your depth of field! 😂👌

Contact the stores directly. Even if just a local store. My husband makes contacts with local Home Depot managers and they LOVE calling him to haul away all kinds of straight off the shelves product for pennies on the dollar. He shows up within a couple hours so the store managers love it.

It's not going to change. Not until/Unless there are industry standards that are quantifiable and can be upheld legally. If a few of these scammers got their asses sued off they may stop that. But all wording, so far, is arbitrary, and subjective. We as buyers would have to goto the company's who are liquidating and plead our case for THEM to standardize contracts that can be upheld and normalized across the industry. It is in THEIR best interest. They would make more money if the loads were protected by standards. But instead, this common phenomena of scamming is forcing us buyers to not pay much knowing that the chances are high that we will get junk.

Let's be honest here. Contract holders got wise and started cherry picking pallets and reselling themselves. If you are in pallet buying business all you will get will be low value and broken stuff.
Are contract holders interested in establishing relationships. NO.
