I've tried that, actually, and it didn't seem to do what I wanted it to. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance, or maybe its my amp. On clean it worked pretty well, but with distortion it just sounded like it added a little gain.
HI, I really seem to like this pedal from what ive seen on video so far. I have a SSS strat though, and want to know whether this pedal's versatility extends to high gain sounds with single coils as well.
Burgs, ive been dying to figure this out, but what do you, or most people, use for a lead boost? Im trying to find a pedal, or even an amp, that will let me add volume, but not change my tone too much. any ideas?
I would say that Burgs has played through a twin more than any other amp :-)
Place an EQ pedal in the effects loop if the amp has one. MXR 10 band is a very good EQ, 18V pedal.
