Brilliant video 👍🏼very clear. Sorry to ask quick question. I had to replace a hoppe Tokyo handle on a spring loaded espag but I notice the springs was removed from the previous handle which when I fitted the new one with springs the espag was working fine. When handles come with spring cassette wouldn’t recommend removing cause feel the tension and load is all on the gearbox spring which causes short life span. Wasn’t sure what you would recommend thank you and be great to hear back 👍🏼

@PowerupGames1985 it's always recommended to replace handles with spring cassettes when doing a repair, never had to my knowledge a gearbox fail due to load from a sprung loaded handle set but that's a fair point to raise as maybe it could shorten the life span of the gearbox but it wouldn't be anytime soon most likely by time you need a new door 😊
