This is why Kelli deserves all the likes, and comments to boost her videos, if we ran into the store and saw this huge collection with no clue as to which ones were 3-coates and which were nearly one, we'd be so screwed. But alas, we are not, because she does all the work for us. Give it a "like" fans ♥♥♥
I've got a lot of questions about the formulation and pigments, tbh. When they say "plant based" does this mean "the same chemicals in our other nail polishes, but formulated from plants rather than petroleum?" What are they using for pigments? If they are using plant based pigments, are they light safe? In a year from now, will the color look the same as it does today? I don't expect answers necessarily, but the more I thought about it, the more questions came up especially given what I know about formulating paints and dyes from natural materials.
I’m wearing a Picture Polish plant formulation rn. Two coats for perfect coverage, along with some sparse glitters and holo micro flakes. I hope that other plant based polish makers start to bling them out a bit more!
I kinda miss the nail polish formulas from the 90’s. That stuff was so caustic that nothing would grow in it and it never went bad. I still have a nail polish that I’ve had since 6th grade (I will be 40 this year). It’s still liquid and going strong!
If I didn't have a 600 polishes collection I would have bought 9 of these pretty colors 😀 I think it's great to see how far Color Club have come with their formula. I still have about 20-30 of their old black cap bottles and back then they could be quite streaky 🙂
I’m now hooked on your channel. This is polish was/is game changer! I have been using Oregano EO on my feet, since C-19. This is amazing, look up the benefits! For a polish to have this in it, I’m all in! Thanks Kelli Have a Blessed day & all your viewers as well!
Gorgeous! I think the nude colors are my favorite. I just found your channel and I'm loving it. You have such a calm presence and are so descriptive! Don't mind me I'm just binge watching backwards. ❤️
I was surprised to see nail polishes being sold on Etsy but I love my polish that I get there. I think it would be awesome if you made a video trying out nail polishes from etsy stores. LeeshasLacquer has a really beautiful thermal nail polish! ^-^ I haven't tried them yet but the same shop has scented top coat polishes which sounds exciting.
I think they introduced the basic polishes to get a proper gage on overall interest in their new product. I wouldn't necessarily buy them just because of vegan or antiseptic because I use gel base. I am interested in them however, because of this great formula so thank you for the swatches!
They sure covered the rainbow. The price is reasonable. I'll end up with a few just to try them out. I think some of them would be nice to use in stamping. Thanks for the discount code
I am definitely going to have to pick up a few of these polishes. I have been curious about plant based polishes for a while and I dont have any Color Club in my collection. If you liked Breath of the Wild, I think you would really enjoy Legends Arceus. My favorite thing is to sneak around and catch pokemon by surprise. The pacing of the game is really good, it feels like I dont have to slog through story or endless pokemon battles. I really loved the direction Game Freak went with this game and I hope they produce more games like this (which seems likely given the trailer to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.)
I have some of these shades and honestly I was impressed you should definitely try their rose extract nail polish collection I loved them cause they actually smell like real life roses which is really cool and I randomly found them at Walmart on a cardboard nail polish display that didn’t look safe but I think the shades I choose were pretty good I have rose quartz vitamin sea beach bonfire redwood forest and lime stone which are all pretty good for 6.59$
What a great video with lots of gorgeous colors! You've asked if there is anything we want to see on your channel and I really liked your recent video showcasing black linear holos. I recently realized that I don't have a dark blue sparkly polish. I'd really like to have one but it's hard to compare them online. I'm looking for a deep blue polish with almost a galaxy effect - lots of sparkle. A holo would be beautiful but in this case not a color shifting one. Are there any really beautiful blue galaxy - like polishes available right now? I'm not looking for a limited edition or a "unicorn" that's hard to find. If there are any out there right now which one would you recommend? Thank you.
Nice collection and seems to have a pretty good formula. Haha I wanted to know if it smelled different and as I typed that out and mentioned how you don't recommend smelling your polish disclaimer...and then you said it all. Perfect. :)
This nice long video helped me make tuna salad when I was having a ton of anxiety. Thanks!!! This is a good start for a new line but nothing I have to have. And Color Club (except for a few random colors at Walmart ) can be hard to find without going online and having to pay shipping.
I’m intrigued by the anti microbial aspect. I’m only seeing 2 colors I’m likely to buy but I may have to go ahead and get them just to check it out. I usually do 3-4 manis a week, but for the last few months I’ve been wanting to take a week or more off. I could see wearing the redwood for a while.
As far as the new formulas go, if they perform nicely and they don't get carried away with the price, I'm fine with the idea! I remember way back long before you were even thought of Kelli, cream polish was a nightmare to work with! I don't even think the stuff even came close to self leveling! You want to talk about patchiness 3-4 coats was the norm and most likely you still had patchiness! Major headache especially when they first came out a version of pastel colors! Also having to use the crappie thin brushes to paint with! How happy I am to live to see some of these wonderful changes ❣️😁 I think my fav has to be the wide polish brushes!I surprised my self as I was interested in two of the neutral colors which is not like me! 😁 Thanks again for another gr8 review!
As you always put your polish on from our left to right… when the first coat is patchy, why don’t you put the 2nd coat on right to left? The thickest is usually on the left & switching up the second coat might forego the third.
I would love to see you test out polishes from Lights Lacquer. I have always hated the wide flat brushes and never understood why everyone wants their polishes to have those especially because for me nail polish should be just as easy to paint on your small toes; however something about Light's round flat brush I just love which really surprised me. I also found their cream/creme polishes to be super easy to work with because they were so self leveling. I actually gifted a few of their polishes to my friends that are more beginner level at polishing their nails and they loved how easy the polishes were to work with! I would love to hear your opinion on them! I may be a little biased because I discovered them while seeking out a true dark emerald green that did not have a blue undertone (& found the polish: For the Thrill ♥) but I think you would definitely enjoy their selection of Green Polishes, they have some interesting ones in that Shrek green sort of color you always talk about!
Color Club is a nice brand but they don't get talked about that much I don't think. Not to mention they have been around for many years, It's nice to see them get more exposure. I like their sheer shimmery shades, very sparkley. Good video.
Love these nice long swatching videos. Beautiful colors!!! Thanks again for another great video. Watching your videos make me spend money. Lol 😂 Today I’m wearing your Starrily collab Alternate Universe. My first week of Lent nails.
Loved just about every color. Not that this is based on any research but I feel like the anti microcrobial aspect is gimmicky. Like anti covid nail polish. 😉
Hi Kelli... could you smell the oil of Oregano? It is a very strong smell and I have used it in the past to get rid of toe nail fungus. So it is a great idea to add it to nail polish. I will consider using them for my pedicures!
I haven't smelled it on its own before so I can't be too sure but I think the polish smelled very pleasant! It was very similar to the Picture Polish smell if you have that brand!
I will have to give one a try, and if it last a week without chipping, I will be" impressed with the formula" and buy more. LOL It would be nice if they had a base coat. I guess you can put a light color under a dark one.
Holy huge collection! I love the Spring vibe! Need it up here in central NY. 🙄. Ashes to ashes definitely has a safe green tone. Honey Wheat is so you🤩😍. So many choices.🥰
Hi Kelli! Could you maybe do a review of BKL (Bees Knees Lacquer)? It does take a while to get to you when you preorder your nail polish, but from what I can tell by the 2 colors I got, they’re nice! I love that the finishes are so unique! They have some really cool multichromes with light reflective glitter in there too! Pretty cool!
Some great colors here and having more sustainable polish is never a bad thing, though I'd really like to know where I can get some plant based lacquer base to make my own stuff. I exclusively do stamping and mixing my own polish in tiny 5ml bottles seems way more sustainable than buying 300+ 15ml~ bottles just to make sure I have the colors I want on hand. 😅
Kelli i love your reviews idk if you will see this but could you please review the new lottie london plant based "gel" polishes. I have seen them around at walmart but no one has reviewed them yet.
I have been binge watching for dayyys!! I had a question about your opinion on Quick Dry top coats (or anyone's opinion who sees this!). I see a lot of recommendations for Seche Vite's quick dry in my nail groups, do you think it's on par with your favorites? It's so convenient to pick it up from the drugstore instead of waiting for an order but I don't want to sacrifice too much quality.
A lot of people love Seche Vite, and I agree that it's a thick, very tough, and super shiny top coat. I used most of a bottle. I really didn't love that it causes noticeable shrinkage when it dries, pulling everything away from the edges a bit. Not only does that make the manicure look older right away, if your application isn't perfect the pulling can make the edges look a mess. I have a deep c-curve so the sides of my nails are always a challenge and I really didn't like the way they were looking. It also goes thick and stringy so quickly and consistently that they have to sell a restoration product for it. I do really like their base coat, though! After going through all the Seche comparison videos I could find, I started using Essie's Gel Setter. It's easy to find, does dry fast and glossy, and it has that thicker finish. It lasts longer than I usually keep my polish on without any reapplication so I've been really happy with it. I HATE Orly's Sec-n-Dry. Ugh. It's thin and isn't all that shiny to begin with. It doesn't last, I feel like reapplication every 2-3 days is mandatory for it to last a week. It does dry very fast, so could be useful for drying undies before nail art, but every so often I use it as the final coat when I'm in a hurry and I am always mad at myself.
Well, a lot of fun creme colors here! Not sure that I need any bc I have so many already, but good to see the eco-friendly. If antimicrobial REALLY worked on toenail fungus (and we knew that ain't gonna happen) they'd have a real winner! TFS 😊 Britt
Wow! What a range of colours; I love the gradual change in colours. The brush looks great, and I’m curious about the natural formula, too. A less smelly nail polish appeals to me. I found out recently I can get Color Club in Australia, so I am eager to try some of it one day. :) I haven’t tried the new Pokémon game either, but I’m intrigued from your description of it!
Ooooh I love a few of these! Yeah theyre basic but sometimes the day calls for basic! Im not sure if these are available here though Love the vid as usually Kelli!
My favourites are Vitamin sea, Seafoam surfer, Secret oasis and Hello hibiscus! But I hate wide brushes, they give me headache because my nails are not wide!
Hey I was wondering, when I do my nails when I go to sleep the top coat gets damaged. It doesn’t remove the coat but like presses in. And I have to put a new coat on every morning. What do I do to stop this
Your polish wasn't dry yet. It's most likely because you're not using a fast drying topcoat. It can take HOURS for the lacquer to fully dry otherwise. If you can press a fingerprint into it or dent it with the tip of another nail it's not dry enough to go to sleep. The culprit may also be a poor quality topcoat, if you are using one. I like Essie's Gel-setter. It's not gel, just thick and glossy. Other possibilities could be that all of your coats are too thick and/or you're not letting them dry to the touch between every coat. Both can make the whole mani take longer to dry. Also, just to include for those who may not realize, effect toppers aren't top coats. Flakie and shimmer toppers, Holo toppers, glitters... you gotta seal those in with a fast drying top coat as well.
I'm intrigued by this formula. Mainly since my mom's skin doesn't get irritated by plant based formulas. I might give these a try! Also, I'm super loving Legends of Arceus! And the gen 9 announcement! I'm definitely Team Spirgatito just based on first impressions.
Have you heard of any news/hype around the salon perfect dippin dots collection? I haven’t seen anything on their instagram page and the polishes just showed up in my Walmart over the weekend. They look really pretty just weird that there has been zero news on them
I have a huge favor to ask you! Could you make the swatches into 2 comparison pics and post it on RUclips? Blue/ neutrals and then purples/ pinks? If you can I'd appreciate it so much! The full swatch in one video is perfect though!
I was thinking the same thing! What purpose does that serve? I highly doubt it *actually* prevents infections in a meaningful way. Just another buzz word advertising phrase, perhaps
@@CatastropheCat97 especially, during a crisis of multiresistant microbes, perhaps we should not add antimicrobial substances everywhere. But I guess whatever is in the polish will not be that strong.. probably just a gimmick.
I believe the oregano oil is what makes it antimicrobial! Here's what google has to say on it: "Because of its ability to protect against bacterial infection, topical oregano oil has been shown to be effective in wound treatment and healing, even killing off methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). In addition to being a powerful antimicrobial agent, oregano oil also has anti-inflammatory effects."
@@KelliMarissa that be great I don't usually get cremes but ever since I got polar princess I've been wanting to top it over all colors and my walmart finally got a new collection usually they don't have any of the ones I see posted
I got the game but was sad they didn't put audio in it. Took me over a week to get pass the tutorial part bc I got board with the unskipable txt. 😒😬 Now their coming out with ANOTHER Pokemon game 😅
Lol... not the silly putty! I remember that so well, but I must ask, how old are you? Wouldn't think you knew about silly putty at all! Do they still make that stuff?
@Kelli Marissa Naw, you are NOT 30! You look so young! 🥰 didn't know silly putty was still around even then, I'm 60+ and recall playing with it as a kid!!! Used to press it into comic strip and comic books (till they starting using some weird inks that wouldn't pick up)!
god i wish the shipping on their site wasn't like 20 bucks to canada. they do so many sale and shit that I would love to take advantage of(since getting colouclub in canada is surprisingly hard? I have only seen it in the wild like once or twice) ;-;
I'm enjoying all these wonderfully basic and classic shades, but the claims of antimicrobial, vegan, cruelty-free are not necessarily a draw for me. I prefer my older polishes that give me great coverage, last longer on the nail, and last longer in the bottle without discoloration or separation. I'm into neutral colors right now as we transition to spring, and I like that this collection has some neutrals with all different undertones.
Whens the last time you used them?? I didn't use the brand for years because they used to be kinda crappy haha but I think they've improved a lot in the last couple of years!
@@KelliMarissa it was only last year but it were a bit older collections with pastel neon like colours. They looked insanely beautiful and pigmented in the bottles but needed 4 coats to be somewhat opaque 😣
i want to swim in burnt sienna this just means i like it very much and it looks cozy and indulgent. this doesn't make any sense, i describe things weirdly

I agree. Alchemy Lacquers is an amazing etdy brand too, but there are so many up-and-coming etsy shops that have wonderful polishes.
I love Color Club and I actually really like every single shade here with the exception of the last one. I love these shades! Can’t wait to try these

Thinkin outside the box on formula. Do they have a different smell than usual nail polishes?
She said in the video she likes the smell more than normal nail polish
I'd say a bit more pleasant!
Wow, thank for all the swatches, super helpful!
My favourites are Vitamin sea, Seafoam surfer, Secret oasis and Hello hibiscus! But I hate wide brushes, they give me headache because my nails are not wide!
Love these so much! Secret Oasis has me😍
Would love for you to do a skittle manicure.❤️❤️❤️
Also team Sprigatito here, he's just such a cutie! But my decision will possibly change based on their final evolutions/typing 😅😅
BEAUTIFUL COLORS
Have you heard of any news/hype around the salon perfect dippin dots collection? I haven’t seen anything on their instagram page and the polishes just showed up in my Walmart over the weekend. They look really pretty just weird that there has been zero news on them
Beautiful collection for toppers !
This is an amazing collection!!!
I want to know if you could smell the oregano once it dried? I always think oregano smells like pizza🍕😆
I have a huge favor to ask you! Could you make the swatches into 2 comparison pics and post it on RUclips? Blue/ neutrals and then purples/ pinks? If you can I'd appreciate it so much! The full swatch in one video is perfect though!
I completely forgot that silly putty existed until you said that!
Does anyone know, why the polishes are anti microbial? What do they contain? Why would they make it antimicrobial?
I was thinking the same thing! What purpose does that serve? I highly doubt it *actually* prevents infections in a meaningful way. Just another buzz word advertising phrase, perhaps
the oregano oil
Awesome video!! thank you for these huge swatches! I know it's tough on the nails LOL
Secret Oasis could be a dupe for Orly "Vintage"...I love it! 😍
Ooh so many pretty colours 😀
I love all the polishes as well as the fact that the anti microbial. When you work in the health care environment that’s a big deal especially now.
I really do want to learn more about that! So intriguing!!
Hi will you be reviewing the salon perfect dippin' dots collection?
Ooh let me see if I can get my hands on those!!
@@KelliMarissa that be great I don't usually get cremes but ever since I got polar princess I've been wanting to top it over all colors and my walmart finally got a new collection usually they don't have any of the ones I see posted
Beautiful colors 💜💗💙
We are so interested in this line. 😍😍😍😍
Seriously such good opacity!!
I got the game but was sad they didn't put audio in it. Took me over a week to get pass the tutorial part bc I got board with the unskipable txt. 😒😬
Now their coming out with ANOTHER Pokemon game 😅
I knoooow I cannot wait!!! I'm more keen on the core games anyway so I think I'll probably be more excited about gen 9 than Arceus hahaha
Toes in the Sand is BEGGING for beach nail art 🏖 💅
Yesssss!!

What a fun collection!
Agreed! 💙
Hi Sweetie.
I Liked
Secret Oasis And
Burnt Sienna.
Lol... not the silly putty! I remember that so well, but I must ask, how old are you? Wouldn't think you knew about silly putty at all! Do they still make that stuff?
Ooh should I make you guess?! Haha! I'm 30! I remember loving silly putty as a kid!
@@judithwatson4828 oh my gosh I used to do it with comic strips too!! That's too funny. I forgot about it until you just mentioned it!
@@KelliMarissa 🥰🥰🥰
Where do you get these?
I got mine online from HB Beauty Bar but I saw them in CVS as well!
god i wish the shipping on their site wasn't like 20 bucks to canada. they do so many sale and shit that I would love to take advantage of(since getting colouclub in canada is surprisingly hard? I have only seen it in the wild like once or twice) ;-;
Where’s the whiskers on kittens? How dare they not do that with raindrops on roses xD!
Idk I’ve tried a couple through Ipsy

Painted Nail Color Coral Pink Red Tone
I'm enjoying all these wonderfully basic and classic shades, but the claims of antimicrobial, vegan, cruelty-free are not necessarily a draw for me. I prefer my older polishes that give me great coverage, last longer on the nail, and last longer in the bottle without discoloration or separation. I'm into neutral colors right now as we transition to spring, and I like that this collection has some neutrals with all different undertones.
Can you get this can you get this brand at Amazon also
I've had such bad experiences with this brand so far >_< I do like the look of the first couple of colours though!
Whens the last time you used them?? I didn't use the brand for years because they used to be kinda crappy haha but I think they've improved a lot in the last couple of years!
@@KelliMarissa it was only last year but it were a bit older collections with pastel neon like colours. They looked insanely beautiful and pigmented in the bottles but needed 4 coats to be somewhat opaque 😣
thank you for the video!! 🥰
Hope you enjoyed it!! 💙💙
@@KelliMarissa i always do!! 💕💕💕
Antimicrobial isn’t much of a draw for me-the rest of my hand needs washing anyway so there’s no point lol
Haha yeah fair I think I feel the same but I am intrigued nonetheless!!
its so suspect that they don't list the ingredients on their own website
i want to swim in burnt sienna
this just means i like it very much and it looks cozy and indulgent. this doesn't make any sense, i describe things weirdly
LOL love it!!
Gorgeous
💙💙💙
I certainly would like to have them all! 😉
I really did enjoy them! I think you would too!
