I’m 32 years old and i have been in love with this man my whole entire life. I feel like he’s so wise and talented. I love old souls. Him, Andre 3000, Prince, these are all musicians I’ve always felt a very strong connection to. Indisputably one of the best artists/writers/voices period.

Yeah it'll always be a Frankie Beverly and Maze classic and there are always going to be some people who love the original more but let's not ignore that she has brought attention to the song by a younger audience. I for one love both versions but I can understand someone who prefers the original to the new version. At least she didn't murder it the way Taylor Swift did with Earth, Wind, and Fire's Septemer. Crack, heroine, crystal meth, alcohol & prescription drugs are wrecking lives and families, and drugs sure don’t discriminate. It’s tragic with some funny and ingenious moments on behalf of the addict.
Sometimes you literally don’t know if to laugh or cry at times. May God help us all with family members on drugs.

About a year ago I saw Raphael Saadiq with Jasmine Sullivan and Maxwell at the Concord Pavilion in Cali....he killed it...the best performance of the night for sure! He was amazing...would see him again in a heartbeat 💗
