Priceless Kaye it’s not that. He’s been nominated for a Grammy 5x and never won. He’s been nominated for 18 awards (different kinds) and only won 4. That’s very underrated. He’s up there with babyface TO ME! But he’s not recognized for it.

@MGNIS not only millennials are a part of this generation in the true sense of the definition. And Raphael has never received the recognition that he deserves for his genius, so that is why some may say he is underrated.

Yeah it'll always be a Frankie Beverly and Maze classic and there are always going to be some people who love the original more but let's not ignore that she has brought attention to the song by a younger audience. I for one love both versions but I can understand someone who prefers the original to the new version. At least she didn't murder it the way Taylor Swift did with Earth, Wind, and Fire's Septemer. That's a comparison that has never crossed my mind. I'm so confused what to think of that especially since I had to fiirst reconciled the fact that he isn't going to descend because of drugs. But other than that, I really wonder... I don't think Sly is the correct comparison. I dunno though you've given me food for thought.

Crack, heroine, crystal meth, alcohol & prescription drugs are wrecking lives and families, and drugs sure don’t discriminate.
