Sounds good! What pickup did you use?

Thanks! You know, I had to look back through my email and see...It's a GFS Alnico Overwound (10k!!) Fatbody tele bridge pickup. SUPER loud, lots of fun. I figured if it's a one-pickup guitar, it should be substantial. I've always loved GFS pickups, used them a ton in a bunch of different guitars. Cheers dude- thanks for the comment

    Is it a Wilkinson bridge?

Wow! I was skeptical when you painted the lacquer with a brush. But the guitar looks beautiful!
What type of wood is the body? Or, from where did you purchase the body? That's a pretty natural finish.

Thanks! The body is poplar, and I think I got it on eBay years ago. If I remember right, I put a natural stain on it a long time ago, something amber colored. And yeah, brushing lacquer works a;right, especially if you want faster curing. You can still wet sand, buff and re-coat if you want it super smooth and shiny. You should try it- it's a fun project

Good diy, but if you don’t wire the resistor and cap on the first position, it’s not a esquire.
