    Nice work! I just installed the Ironman lift on my 18' crosstrek and I can't say enough about how great their products are! I put Kenda klever A/T 2's wrapped around the Method 502 VT spec wheels in bronze to finish it all off! I'm just getting started and hope to complete it all by spring. Have a merry Christmas!

    Nice. I got 180k miles on my Forester.
    My Struts are going bad and I'm thinking of buying the 2" lift Strut kit from rough country.
    It's cheap enough. I suppose I should set aside some money for CV axles next.

    Thank you for the video. I am looking to get the same lift for my Crosstrek. I read that it is recommended to check the bolts every 1K miles but I was wondering if the Blue Loctite you used has extended that range? Have you had any issues with the bolts coming loose?

    Thanks for the video. Very thorough installation instructions. Are you still happy with this lift? Did you go with new tires and did you get an alignment? How off camber was it and was the alignment tech able to easily correct it? I have a ‘14 and I’m trying to decide between the Rough Country, Ready Lift and LP Adventure. Rough Country is much cheaper so I’m wondering if this is one of those you get what you pay for deals. Any thoughts or opinions are welcome.

    Thanks. for the video. One question. I understand that you put. the spacers on the rear sub frame to make the CV joint angle less but how come this kit does nothing to correct the CV angle on the front? Wouldn't this make sense?

    • @munnday86
      @munnday86  3 года назад

      Unless you did a subframe drop on the front that would be the only way around the CV angle. 2 inches is not enough for concern on the front cv angle

    • @Ski_3_p_o
      @Ski_3_p_o Месяц назад

      It will be fine, the shaft angle doesn’t much matter it’s the output and input angles that need to match. This puts such a small angle that you shouldn’t have any issues.

  • @colincarroll4741
    @colincarroll4741 3 года назад

    Just curious, did you wind up plugging the hole in the rear where the head of the struts poked through when stock? Seems like it could be an issue with water ingress and rust in northern areas!

    • @munnday86

    I had to order new sway bar links for the front because I couldn't get the nuts off, even while torquing the link. My Crosstrek is also a 2014 but the bolts have too much corrosion after six years and just spin under a wrench. My question is, did you have difficulty with the rear links too, have to use PB Blaster or just a wrench?

    • @munnday86
      @munnday86  4 года назад +1

      Hello and thank you for the comment. The sway bar bolts can be problematic. Make sure to use an Allen wrench on one side and a wrench on the other. Everytime I'm going to work on something. And I always soak any hardware days before with PB blaster.

    Hello, I have some questions about your Ford Sport Track. I am very, very interested in buying one of these trucks/ SUVs for my first car. What is the miles per gallon on these, are the expensive to maintain, and are they reliable? I have heard both good and bad things about them, but do you recommend buying one?

    • @munnday86
      @munnday86  4 года назад

      Hello how's it going. The sport trac is an awesome vehicle and has many different unique features that other trucks lack on. The sport trac is quick and nimble and is easy to modify. Not too great on gas. Well it's not a Prius. The main thing to look out for is worn out timing chain guides and transmission issues. Body mount bushings. Mid to easy fix. But overall a very safe and would make a great first vehicle.
