For your first Audax lights shouldn't be a problem as to finish in time the latest to be back is 18:46. For the next one, riding through the night will be more of a challenge. I believe Katie Kookaburra used a dynamo hub to power her front lights.

Yep it's all about the Moonrakers & Sunseekers 300 all nighter - not wanting to drop £300 + on a Strada Mk12 RS AKTIV
so will be investigating additional battery packs for the Planet X plasma.

I'll be using the Raveman 500 and 1200 on all my Audax's. Both are USB rechargeable so I always take a powerbank. 1.5hrs max setting, 6.5hrs medium, 15hrs low.

I'll take my Serpa 1100 as a backup, again 6.5hrs medium setting but with a twin led it's like daylight.

good lights, just bought 2x extra battery packs (should get me through the night) but will be picking up a cheaper 500-700 lm light as a just incase.

Tom, with the risk of tyres being popped in the Wolds what do you think about one of us locals creating a checkpoint in Binbrook (North Wolds) for Cyclists to get Coffee + Assistance?
Our community is very rural and with more people choosing Cycling to get around, a 247 station might be something which is necessary.
We have a two Village Halls which the station could be built near.
Im considering donating funds to get it sorted.

Not a bad idea, normally I'd head for cafes - I think it's the B17 cafe in binbrook (sure I had a bacon butty here some while back) . The CO-OP (not Sponsored by Richard Lake) has some fantastic Cycle Repair Stations on trial but not sure we have them on mass in Lincolnshire! however this type of thing dotted around village hall's might be a great way to get more people into the Lincolnshire Wolds. here is the info on the CO-OP Bike Repair Station www.membershipmatters.coop/new-cycle-repair-stations-rolled-out-at-22-central-england-co-op-sites-to-encourage-cycle-use/

@@englishcyclist You got the idea flawlessly.
I think appealing to Lincoln, Hull and Scunthorpe could be the intial plan in the long run because there is a pot of money which the Government are allocating to Transport before the election. Getting some of that money spaced around National Cycle Route 1 from Lincoln to Hull and into the Wolds could give us the infrastructure we need to improve growth in our rural areas.
EV charging points for Ebikes and mobile coffee stops could drive some of that growth. But then of course Electric Mopeds are taking off now so there is a good way to argue for Government funding.
I've lived in the Wolds for a long time but as Bus Routes have been cut back I've had to start Cycling, so by no means am I experience or even a amateur. But I think with the great Lincolnshire Cycle network that is developing through your followers, followers of Ride with Roy and the efforts of Lincolnshire Cycle Tours we could all be onto something which will make our area a much more fruitful place to live.
Politicians have took Lincolnshire for granted, its time we all united for our common interests. Left & Right, time to unite :D
