Nice video - and I have experienced their trail mentality - so I get it.

Yes! And two others passed by while setting up that first composition that I cut out of the video. I felt so stressed! Haha! Thanks for checking it out!

I know what you mean! I am so amazed at how it performs especially when compared to camera setups three times as expensive.

nice one man. I like the setup you picked - something cool about viewing images as a collection.

Hey thanks, man! I appreciate the support. And yeah, I like creating something that's connected. Makes me feel good.

Hi Jude I’ve just discovered your Chanel and am so pleased I have. I’ve always thought about large format but never got further than that. After seeing these images 2025 maybe the year to indulge! Thanks for the inspiration. What camera set up would you recommend? Thanks

I really enjoy the photos as a collection rather than individually. Personally, I’d mix them up a bit-maybe one sky, one detail, one sky, one detail, to add a bit of variety. One small suggestion: for the water shot, it would have been great to capture a ripple to give it some added dimension. Overall, though, fantastic work, Jude! I would never have chosen those compositions myself, so it’s really inspiring to see your unique perspective. It’s a great reminder to pay attention to things we might normally overlook.

Oh yes, I totally see what you're saying. Sometimes I tend to matchy-matchy too much. Gotta leave some room for a bit more variety! I very much appreciate your suggestion, I'll try it out and see how it looks. And thank you for the encouragement!

Bogus Basin Rd. or Military Reserve? One of my favorite places, when I lived there 20 years ago, was Leslie Gulch.

This is actually down Shaw Mountain Rd. Kinda on the road up to Table Rock. But yeah, looks a lot like those other areas. Most of the foothills around Boise look similar to me.
