I started playing the dd for the first time about a week or two ago, I have not gotten crimson court yet, and from what I've heard I've made the right decision

Spent weeks in game with that annoying Buzz event until i finally realized it wouldn't go away till i finished the dungeon so i sent another team in and got wiped by the alligator. Never played it again XD
Simply built too different. Countess is basically impossible without Aegis Scales since Love Letter damage goes through Prot and she heals so much, but with them I'm sure Leper can do it.

You see this level is fucked up and he brought only 1 character, so he gets his prot and resistances really high so he can stall this one guy without dying, then he stalls him. Now he gets stressed out, when you reach 100 stress you either go insane and you have a bad time, or you become not insane and have a very good time. 75% chance for insanity btw. When you reach 200 stress when you are not indane, you go back to 0 stress, but you have the chance to become insane again. He wants a specific don't become insane proc, so that he gets specific stat bonuses. He gets lucky, then proceeds to whack everything with a sword for 45 minutes.
Also could you define abuse video, not knowing what that is im forced to believe you watched some drugged out man belt his wife for party wiping to the first darkest dungeon or something
Normally in DD you have a party of 4 heroes. Some of the Crimson Court dungeons (like this one) are so long and gruelling that you can (and are supposed to) do them over multiple runs, retreating from the dungeon and picking up with a new party later.
Start with a miss, end with a crit. That's a true Leper run.
