    You’re doing great work on your Jeep. I just bought a 48 CJ2A, basically a shell. I plan to do most of what you’ve been doing. I really appreciate your videos and ideas. Keep ‘em coming!

    Really glad you made this video because I'm almost ready to move on to the body. Frame, brakes, steering and suspension all done. Waiting on Procomp vintage series 69 rims.

    Mine looks just like yours and I decided to leave it as is. I don’t expect to bang my Jeep real hard on rocks etc. I need to get mine running and drive it some. I’ve enjoyed your ideas and hard work. Thanks.

    Nice job, I used box tubing for my seats because that's what I had.

    Good job. Sometimes not being 6ft is nice. I shouldn't have to do this to my '48. LOL.

    Another great Video. Doing the seat notch to the CJ3A soon. What gauge sheet are you using?

    • @SevenBarSalvage
      @SevenBarSalvage  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you! I believe I used 11 gauge!

    i did the same for the seat, a few better ways are on the internet. also remember the axle will swing backwards away from the modification ( to an extent it will move in a arch but it might miss the corner ). I am also leaving mine as is. if you get yours done first I will see your opinion what is the lift again? and tire size / width

    • @SevenBarSalvage
      @SevenBarSalvage  3 года назад

      Most likely I won’t have to change it much if any. It’s roughly 1.5 inches over stock and I’m gonna run 32-11.5-15’s.

    Hello, Can you tell me more about your Willys engine? did you rebuild it? I also see an alternator on it. Thanks, Steve

    • @SevenBarSalvage
      @SevenBarSalvage  3 года назад

      I rebuilt the engine and all of the drivetrain… unfortunately it was before my RUclips days. There’s a lot of content there I would like to share some day if I ever rebuild another one! My alternator setup is homemade but they have some really nice, inexpensive kits available now.

      @@SevenBarSalvage thanks for the reply, I too have a 3B it’s a 1954 engine and drivetrain are sound. Is yours 12volt conversation? Where did you get the stater? Looks like a duralast. I love your disc brake setup and steering conversion. I want to do those upgrades to my Willys soon.

      @@stevenzembriski6761 Yes I used a gm 1 wire 12v alternator. The starter is for a Toyota Landcruiser I can’t remember what year. They are great upgrades if you need any help let me know!
