A big thank you to the O'Driscoll's for inviting us into your lives. You are wonderful people...Canada's loss is South Korea's gain. They are lucky to have you guys. My wife and I will miss watching the kids grow up but will follow you on your new channel. Good for you guys for making a change and exploring the world. Travel blessings upon you all.
One of my very good friends bought your property. We both worked in Moncton but now both live on Cape Breton Island. I just live a 10 minutes up the road. Sunday I will be going to the property to help Lee with a support for the green house and a few things he needed help with. Good luck with everything.
Congratulations! I'm looking forward to following some of your adventures in South Korea. I was really hoping that you would be making some videos for us to follow during your time there. It was great getting to know you guys through RUclips and I really enjoyed your homesteading videos.
WOW! I'm so excited for your family adventure! I follow The Suitcase Designer and her husband's adventures in/around Seoul. Such a beautiful country. I look forward to your new channel. Best wishes and safe travels.💖💖💖💖(Robin E.)

Enjoyed following your journey. All the best in your chapter! We have followed a similar path from BC to NS and have found ourselves facing similar challenges as you.
Best of luck in South Korea and your travels. I'll miss your wonderful Nova Scotian homestead. I really enjoyed all your videos, especially the different animals you raised. Thank you for entertaining us for the past few years. 💗
WOW!!!! How exciting you guys!!!!! Congrats on such a huge and equally fantastic move!!! I will certainly follow you in SK. A country that I hope to visit one day. I’m jumping over see you on new channel and safe travels!!!!!
Sorry you won't be doing anymore homesteading videos from NS, but all the best in your new adventures in SK. I really enjoyed the content that you put out, showing the good with the bad, successes and failures and the perseverance to keep going. Well done and good luck.
I wasn’t in SK for very long but I loved it! And I felt the same way after a few years of farmsteading. Stuck. I wanted to travel too! I haven’t told anyone but we’re looking into Puerto Rico next. But I’m trying to convince Dan of Costa Rica. Haha
So strange to say good luck and goodbye to people that I don't really know, but I feel like I do! I'm excited for you and your next chapter and I will definitely be following along, living vicariously through you and your adventures. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! Big exciting changes! Your ‘experiment’ was absolutely a success and your kids are so lucky to have such adventurous parents. Best of luck in the next chapter!

Your channel was such an inspiration for me. Especially starting a new Homestead myself this year, a couple hours south of PG. I hope you continue your channel and film your experiences in Korea

I will be sad to see you go but am definitely happy for your family if this is where your heart is leading you. Thanks for sharing your homesteading journey with us. Jenny,I can’t believe you took all that on,with young children and completed your Masters!! Omg,congratulations! 👏🏼

Oh my goodness....this is the last thing I thought I'd hear. I'll miss your videos sooo much! You were such a great little family to follow, and I learned a lot from you guys. Great job on everything! I wish you nothing but the best in your next chapter in life. Safe travels! Looking forward to following your new adventures!
Thank you so much! I know, it is a bit of a change. We're settling in very well and I'm feeling very happy about my job here. It's a tough decision, but so far, it's been a good one.
I have been following you since you moved to NS. We too moved to NS around the same time as you guys. We have kids same age as yours. We were in very similar situation. We also started a homestead on 25 acres and did a lot of things you guys did. We can totally relate to your everyday life. After about 2 years we decided that it was enough. We felt the same way as you guys. NS, the lifestyle, the health care, etc were definitely very challenging. We were still on the waitlist even after we left a month ago. We are now in the US of A in Colorado where we had planted some roots a while back. Good luck on your new endeavor and I am excited to see what you guys will be up to in your new adventures! it's been fun Nova Scotia! now on to new ones!
We are looking at moving from Vanc Island BC, as we cannot afford a shed here let alone a house, we are looking to move to Kentville or Bridgewater NS, how have you found the cost of living in comparison to BC
It is so tough to compare. I found everything but my mortgage more expensive in Nova Scotia. Real estate has changed so it would be hard to say. A short commute to work and access to a Costco would make a difference I think.
Sad to see you leave , I started following you as we moved to NS 2 yrs ago and have enjoyed your videos. My god daughter also teaches on Jeju Island. Im not sure which school I know there are a few! What a small world! It would be soo funny if it was the same place. Good luck as you and your family move !
Sad for me, this was the first and only Canadian homesteading channel that I found. Everything else I watch is in the states so it's not as relatable. BUT, how amazing and exciting. Hope you're enjoying and the family is doing well!
We were really missing having chickens today (I was putting leftovers in the fridge and wondering if we would eat them before they go bad, they would be great chicken food!) BUT we are doing really well, kids are thriving, getting lots of world and life experiences. We will be homesteading again in the future but happy with our life right now :)
This was absolutely a contributing factor. Dom and I are both teachers and this also contributed. Having quick and easy access to health care in Korea has been incredible. It's a shame we can't have that at home.
Congratulations, I am super excited for you guys. Hey Did you ever get to a hundred hours on that tractor haha 😄 I will see you over on the new channel P.S take us with you haha😂
You were living my dream in my home area, it's funny because I subscribed and unsubscribed in one day, sorry it's the home stead part I was interested in. Good luck!

I was following you in Jeju Korea & all of your travels & then I haven’t seen any vlogs for a few months. I am wondering if RUclips dropped me as a subscriber. I hope the best for your family & miss watching you. 💜
Hi Marilyn!! I am so sorry you have missed us but Dominic and I are touched you reached out!! I haven't posted in quite a few months. I got a little burnt out making videos, working, and balancing family at the same time. We are still on Jeju!! Kids are doing really well, they love school! We were camping a bit this fall and we traveled to Canada this summer. I am sorry you have missed us. I will try to get a little update video for you before Christmas! Thanks for thinking about us, we hope you are well ❤️
Congrats on the move! As a Nova Scotian, don’t blame you on moving. It’s a rough place to be overall these days. You will probably thrive over in South Korea compared to the issues you have to face here.
😂 hahahaha. I’m also a Nova Scotian born and raised. South Korea is WAY worse than you think buddy. You realize there on the border with NK and it’s WAY DEADLIER AND MORE COMMUNIST. The poverty and homeless rate is 10xs worse there. At least in Canada, our issues are more LIBERAL than physical and we will get it fixed hopefully by 2026 when we get PP to fix the economic damage. At least us Canadians can have more money and a great quality of life. Yes we might pay more in living expenses and have a backlog in “free” healthcare but hey I can suck it up and go get free food or money from the general public if I’m in need. In South Korea, you Nick Bishop might think your thriving but in REALITY CHECK, your failing overseas. I also bet wages are way lower and there’s no access to “free” healthcare. I bet it costs a godamn arm and leg to receive treatment! Anyways, that’s just my OPINION only and it’s not to insult or demoralize anyone else.
North Korea or South Korea? You do realize that NK is a HERMIT KINGDOM with the most communist regime state in the world. The demilitarized zone is deadly and super dangerous. South Korea on the other hand is poor underdeveloped and properly worse to live in. People are Korean and don’t understand English. In my opinion if I were one of you, I’d move to Europe and get better standard of living and more freedom than in SOUTH Korea. NEVER EVER EVER menshion NK or the Kim regime.
My son lived in S. Korea for 8 years - and loved it - 2 years in a private school - 1 year in a university and 5 years with Korean Air. Good money for english studies - everyone there wants to speak english. Sign your kids up for various hagwons depending on their interests.
Wow Wow that's awesome, I spent one year there in the Army and was stationed in soul Korea 🇰🇷 too. Will you be on Instagram for people to follow you through this next step.
Very best of luck on your new adventure. Out story is pretty much the opposite. Ive worked all over the world and finally settled down on 40 acres in Hazelton BC, not far from where you were in PG. Ive worked in Seoul and Inchon and many other places in Asia and loved every minute. Your kids will grow up with an international point if view and be well rounded and think big picture. Again, best of luck and hopefully you post about your life in South Korea! Kamsa hamnida! 😀
