Captain Ryzhenko was one of the few naval officers who did not defect to Russia when Crimea was annexed. Makes him a bigger target. He is a native of Crimea. Sad he had to move twice in such a small time.
That means he's a better human being. There's a future reckoning for all of the people who invited Russia in and sided with them.

yeah lets poke some holes in his story, 1st russia does not use F-1 grenades and in the battle of irpin only the russian military was involved which excludes the militias forces leaving the Ukrainian military as the sole perpetrator since they are the only ones who have access to such equipment, the f-1 does not have the explosive mass to collapse a wall, it only has enough inside to expand its prefragmented body in all directions with a theoretical max range of 50m. 2nd the video that shows his house is covered by artillery shrapnel which largely discredits his claim that they broke his windows on purpose. don't believe in trash when their credibility was put into question when they screamed about ghost of kiev and snake island in the first few days of the war.

It's sad, just when I started to really like Russia. I still like some Russian though, but it's really a waste that they are so diluted in this ocean of crap. I'm sorry to see their home ransacked and so many precious possessions stolen, but I am deeply grateful that his home at least will be livable. I think so many Ukrainians have lost everything or nearly everything, and some are old enough that they can't work to earn the money to rebuild and replace that which was destroyed. It's such a selfish act of these Russian soldiers. Clearly thinking of no one but themselves. I could forgive stealing men's shoes and socks-maybe they needed those-or some food, but the other things are unnecessary and just utterly selfish. When we obtain things by stealing, we will never truly enjoy that ill-gotten gain.
I'm guessing the wife's clothing were not stolen because Russian troops like cross-dressing, but for their women at home. I'm poor and make/thrift most of my clothes, but would *NEVER* knowingly wear looted clothing. That shows such a lack of respect for all.

We're seeing another example why no one in Eastern Europe at the end of WWII wanted to be "liberated" by Russian troops. It was the U.S. first, the Brits second, maybe the French, but definitely not the Russians.
I was riding a train through East Germany to West Berlin during the Cold War when a West German in the train car with me pointed to East German border guards and said, "The only thing that has changed is the color of their uniforms." I knew what he meant. Under the Nazis, the uniforms were field grey. Under the communists they were olive drab. And today the only thing that's changed under Putin is that communism now has billionaire oligarchs.
My father was in Krakow during the Soviet era, they usually treated the Soviet soldiers as liberators, but not the Soviet government.

Many people have not experienced the destruction and looting that comes with war, but I think a lot more people have returned to find their house looking like this after burglars have been there. The granade trap is probably propaganda set up by Ukrainian military. Alot of Ukrainian women claim they were 100% raped by Ukrainian military also, but get silenced and the media wont talk much about that among with alot of other stuff. It's very dirty behind the scenes from both countries.
