Best of luck! I replaced mine with a used one. Broke about a month later. So I switched to aftermarket compressor and tank and valve. Later video. Thanks for watching!
Lucally I havnt Had to replace my compressor yet... Was wondering though, before you modded your air system after you got home and got the groceries in the house ( I know it dumps some with the trunk open) does it later randomly com on and refill the bags? second question. My under hood plastic i cant seem to get it to stop "Bleeding" black all over me when i touch it. Ive cleaned it,wiped things like WD40 among many other things trying to seal the plastic from dong this. does yours do it too?
If I leave the switch on in the trunk. It does come on. Usually I turn the switch off if it's going to be parked more then a hour.. my intake tube is like that. The plastic is deteriorating on mine. That's the only plastic under the hood that's doing that.
@@butterflydoze the chrome switch hooked up to my air valves? That is a 20+ year old switch I got from a lowrider company. I can't find them anymore... I have a new setup I'm working on for a video this spring. Thanks for watching!!!
@@AHotrodShop oh ok thanks I just replaced my bags now the compressor doesn't stay on long enough to fill the bags do you know how long it should stay on mines cuts off in like 1 minute
@butterflydoze if it doesn't fill the bags. I assume it is riding on the bumpstops. I would believe there is a leak. I would check the air bags first. The single line from the factory air compressor splits into 2 lines somewhere at the back of the car. If you have the compressor running reach up in the back, grab a bag and squeeze. Those bags start to firm up with a just a small amount of air. If it compresses when you squeeze it air is not getting to the bag or leaking out. Hopefully this helps. I ended up adding a aftermarket compressor and modified the rear bags.
Mines looks just like yours it came with spring conversion tho so i dont know how the air ride feels is it more plush? I kinda wanna switch to the air ride it was one of the reasons why i liked the town car but if theres no difference in feel then not
I rides kinda floaty.. with everything tight and correct on the suspension..it is an extremely soft ride. Everyone that rides I'm mine says it rides nice. Thnx for the Sub
5:50 there! How are you getting to them?!
Climb under the car. Look up. I think there is 3 bolts there. 2 go to the compressor. Extension 12mm?
@@AHotrodShopI FOUND EM!!!! Thank you very much!!!

How do you get the whole compressor out??? I can get to the back bolt but not the front two!!
Back under the front bumper
Is this the same for a 2010? Btw does the 97 have air bags or coils
@Mrnormalsense 2010 is a Lil different. But same basic idea
@@Mrnormalsense I think some 97 and back had rear bags.. but not sure
@@AHotrodShop very cool, keep posting town car stuff is great! I’ll check out your other content.
What bags you got on the back i jus wondering what the max size yu can fit
@sharktooth1985 on the back are factory sleeve bags. I'm hoping to bag the front at the end of July.
@sharktooth1985 check out my newest video
So is that switch in your hand factory inside the car or is that something custom you made
