@slavaad1147 after 12 hits of 15 damage for 180, it already recovers a total 48 life. It's not noticeable when you recover 4 life ever 5 seconds but it did work for this build
Each additional pom on top of that adds half as much as the previous one, so the second pom adds an average of 1.5625 damage, the third adds 0.78125 per proc, etc.
The first proc is guaranteed so the formula to get at least n numbers of hits is 1/2^(n-1) = 1/32 for 6 and more and 1/64 for 7 and more (there isn't more so it's 1/64 for 7). If we want the odds to get 6 exactly, that is p(exactly 6 hits) = p(6 and more) - p(7 and more) = 1/32 - 1/64 = 1/64. So that means you have 1/64 odds of getting exactly to the 6th proc and 1/64 to get both the 6th and 7th proc with those two levels. So that's 100 * 1/64 + 200 * 1/64 which is 4.6875 more dmg per proc in average (you can also say 1/32 to get the 6th and 1/64 to get the 7th, that will give you the same result, since 1/32 * 100 + 1/64 * 100 = 4,6875 too, it's a good way to double check the calculations). Considering Chronos had 20 000 * 0.8 + 16 000 = 32 000 health and with both revenge boons, Haelion hit for around 360 in average so has to hit 89 times to win, that would be 417 more dmg in average so 1/76th of the fight That's better than 4 more max health (which is 9 to 10 additional health taking the three DDs into account depending on how their rounding works) which would only make you last around 1/100th longer in average, it's better to shave off 1/76th of the fight through dmg. Of course the health might win if it allows you to take one more big hit, or if you get unlucky with the divine vengeance proc, but those are factors that are harder to predict considering the variety of enemies and possible dmg range so you can't consider them when making the choice.
The worst part about relying on frosty veneer is that infusions count as commons, which meant the demeter boon in tartarus literally couldn't offer the infusion, as well as any other upgraded boons from minibosses since they are minimum rare on the rarity unless you have the chaos curse.
Considering the Zeus bolts in the boss fight were still doing 100 damage, that implies you had no global damage scaling, so Evil Eye would have been a full 30% extra damage (assuming it worked). Probably worth more than the extra 6+ hits that Luckier tooth allows you to survive. Having said that, can't argue with results! Great run, very entertaining.
do you use the arcana card that makes your dodge instant and buffs your sprint speed? i found the timing to be much more forgiving when using that card also, such a good feeling tho! lol
I really wish the game would at least clarify which boons benefit from damage increase such as the Hades’ Last Gasp. For example it would pop a window on the right that says “boons affected by this:” and list them. So we can tell if the vengeance boons benefit or not. Same for duos like Golden Rule. Especially since we can’t test specific boons on Skelly (he doesn’t hit back so even if we can equip boons, we couldn’t test vengeance stuff anyway.)
This is the funniest build I've seen!!! Don't think I can attempt that myself, but I at least know I should search for Demeter and Poseidon builds cause that 15 damage would be such a blessing to my clumsy playstyle
🎉🎉 i cant believe you made it happen! So well done. Zeus/hera duo giving the zeus revenge +16levels was the way i thought you'd go, but you made it happen anyway ❤
Just got a heroic hera revenge boon that had +10 levels, does 2280% damage. This was just using poms and not using zeus/hera duo boon. I THINK that it adds a flat 110% on each pom at the highest point in the scale, so hypothetically you could get 20 more levels on the boon I had and get another 2200% for a total of 4480%.
With the amount of times (that i could count) that Divine Vengance procc'd with strikes higher than 4 in the chronose fight, i think it actually saved the run from dying. Second of course to frosty verneer though. Without it you would have almost certainly lost. Its interesting that there are a couple of moves in second phase chronos that just straight up do not procc revenge. It makes me wonder if the "moves" are actually just considered atage hazards or something. Either way, great run! I think the hera revenge would habe helped ALOT with dealing with the summons during the chronos fight.
as bad as the self healing was, I'm pretty sure if you didn't have it, you wouldn't have had enough health to make it to the end. another viable option would have been to get lucky with the well of charon and get the item that makes your well boons expire after two guardians, and then get the well item that works like frosty veneer does. not sure how much it caps the damage at but that would be much more rng based then this run already was. regardless this was HUGE! lol so insane to watch everything come together right at the end. gratz brotha!
Maybe Hera, Hestia, Haephesto and Demeter could be interesting for this kind of run, if you can get "Incandencent Aura", "Brave Face" and "Frost Vaner". Getting to 6 waters for Vaner would be a problem tho.
I'm sure I didn't catch them all, but the most Divine Vengeance hits I saw from a single proc was 4 hits (1:03:02). Was there a bigger one anywhere? Woahhhh, there was a 7 hit right after! Right? No way the formula is actually 50% for each one.
Question. People who defeat Eris with 32 fear. Did they get the 3rd statue? And now with Prometheus ist the 32 achievement gone? So is it unfair that people have to do 32 fear with prometheus now?
İ have a build that two-shots and even one shots chronos. İt uses aspect of artemis, flutter strike ( heroic preferably), explosive ambush, escalating ambush, riposte and any decent magic regen. The only thing you need to do is to level flutter strike to 200% percent which is level 4 or 5. You can get reduced magic with chaos or plus attack damage, doesnt really matter.
Explosive return is already so much % damage that the additive bonus from aphro isn’t actually that much, it’s better to go for Apollo attack and get his legendary.
Wow chronos really sucked himself DRY. also clear time of 33 minutes is good for not caring about time, bet you could do a decent revenge speed run if you just hustled to save time for the final battle (total in game time: ~6 mins?).
Ah yes, the “stop hitting yourself” build returns
Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself!
It's always fun to see it
Self Healing actually made it possible.
Exactly because it definitely recovered more than the 43hp there was left at the end

Can always trust haelian with peak hades content. thank you for this run, it's literally amazing
Mel: just stands at one place... menacingly
Fun fact: pomming the heroic divine vengeance deals an average of 3.125 extra damage per proc.
Each additional pom on top of that adds half as much as the previous one, so the second pom adds an average of 1.5625 damage, the third adds 0.78125 per proc, etc.

idk if thats on purpose they should consider changing it
This is false, you can absolutely get infusions from minibosses
Minibosses can drop common boons
@Haelian good to know. I got so many rares from minibosses that I was genuinely convinced you couldn't get commons lol.
Considering the Zeus bolts in the boss fight were still doing 100 damage, that implies you had no global damage scaling, so Evil Eye would have been a full 30% extra damage (assuming it worked). Probably worth more than the extra 6+ hits that Luckier tooth allows you to survive.

What an insane ending actual cinema 👌
that was admittedly very bad chronos fight rng, this build relies on that one attack to kill and he just didn’t cast it enough
There were so many divine vengence procs, even saw a couple 7x
this was crazy to watch live, first attempt too
THAT FINAL STRETCH!!!
i love these kinds of challenge runs where you have to think a lot differently from normal, really tickles my brain
This is the funniest build I've seen!!! Don't think I can attempt that myself, but I at least know I should search for Demeter and Poseidon builds cause that 15 damage would be such a blessing to my clumsy playstyle
Kind of sad that this AFK fight went better than my first... several fights against Chronos... And probably faster than my first actual win, honestly.
@@sockpuppetqueen don't feel bad lol, you have to consider he has access to the arcanas/weapon aspect/pet that you probably don't have
