My son tried to help and put a brand new set of ratchet straps together. Needless to say, he put them together wrong. Watched your video and had them apart less than 2 minutes. Thanks!
Just the way he said, you just have to loosen each layer until you can reach the middle with needlenose pliers. I had to use the pliers to grab, twist and lever each turn over and over to get it loose. Then, move on to the next turn pulling the slack you just created to this one.
Guys named Evan must be prone to having trouble with racchet straps, but I’m happy I found your video. I felt like giving up on the mess I’d made, but after watching your video, I persevered. 90 min later, I had it sorted out. Whew! Much thanks! Cheers.

Can someone help. I put the rope at the tip and raveled it till it couldn’t tighten anymore and want to know how can you unravel it?
