It really is too bad the algorithm doesn't usually promote actual hard work from creators. It's fun seeing RGT stretch creatively. Hopefully he'll do more like it someday. How have you guys been?
@@NeanderMeander We've been not too bad. Trying to catch up on things and figure out a way to come back to RUclips where it's not as time consuming. Hopefully soon because even though I loath the long edit process I love making content.
@@RetroRivals I think it’s great that you are exploring different ways to get your videos out. Editing can take forever. I’ve thought about hiring an editor, but I don’t know how well they would do editing my videos or how much they would charge me for it. There’s a reason I only get one or two videos out a month. They take forever to put together.
Dude. I laughed really hard during the 1-up cabinet. I didn't know any of this, but, I do watch his content occasionally. It's wild he actually tried something, not...."safe". Kinda like you said, (paraphrasing) the cliche "talking to the camera with tons of games in the background". It's amazing the depth of this. It truly shows what he can put out, while going through whatever at that time... even if it's not necessarily.... Good / high quality. I've never made a 'production' style video, but when I listen to some music I made years ago, I'm like... "What the hell was i thinking! I thought that was good, interesting, smart, or intricate?" I know exactly what you were talking about.. but, with a different type of creativity... You're almost the complete opposite as I'm thinking about it. Your videos are tight. Clearly well thought out, scripted, shot well, look and sound incredible. Conversely, you throw in these people with 1/2 a million subscribers or more, and I'm like, really? This 'idiot' is well liked or even.. "made it?" Sorry for all the quotations lol but I'm sure you know what I mean and how it is.
Thank you for saying this! I love making videos, but they take forever to put together. It’s nice reading these types if comments. Someone who watched the video and thought about what was the message was. Who knows what works have happened if RGT’s video would have gotten better views. I’d much rather watch a short film than another emulation video. Not that emulsion is bad, just a topic he’s hit on multiple times already. Thank you again for watching and commenting. It’s great seeing comments from you. Also, I missed the Artist in the Ambulance tour. I had work stuff pop up. I was a little upset about it.
@@NeanderMeander see that’s the thing , these retro emulator channels are running dry. The well is damn near gone. They gotta expand what they talk about. You made a perfect assessment. 100%
I remember watching that, and actually its a nice reminder. When I first created this channel in 2006, the first thing I posted was a special effects video I made in late 2004, "When Clones Attack!", and this is why I always prefer RUclips over Twitch, as I also don't have plans to become Partner as not monetizing allows me more creative license under Fair Use, in fact I use this to comment on the world thru the canvas of video and to a greater extent, cinema. I'm very happy and appreciative that you bring stuff like this to light, as also I have some projects that I would like to resume research as well as begin production on. As much as I enjoy my game related stuff-I'm in the process of posting the 1st 2 episodes of Season 14-one has already been released, another as of this posting is being uploaded-I created this channel to do not just games, but an overencompassing umbrella of whatever I wish to do and stories that I wish to tell. And I still believe the old RUclips slogan of "Broadcast Yourself" is alive and well, even if that doesn't seem the case. As always Neander, always my best to you. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you. Always. 🎮😊🖖🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈Marcus

Idk man. Never been a fan of RGT, dude makes a lotta click bait videos. I watch him on and off because some of his videos ain’t too bad but comes off as a grifter especially with phoney Resell pure scumbag. But with the retro community most these guys are heavily protected and get away with murder (like Metal Jesus and his RV scam) Dope video tho .
I agree with you. That’s why I decided to make this video. It was surprising to see a video that took planning and work. I thought other people would like seeing this side if him too, but I was wrong. There are many people who don’t like him. I’m surprised he has such a big following. I remember the RV thing with Metal Jesus. That was pretty crazy when I watched the video. Thanks for watching!
Had no idea about any of this. I love a great short film and I wish the algorithm didn't punish most creators for taking risks.

Had no idea he did this. Pretty cool and yeah quite the twist.
It's buried in his past videos. I came across it while looking at his older videos. I was shocked that he went out on that limb.

Agreed!
If I make a short film, can I get a breakdown like this of it by THE Neander Meander??? I promise no pee shots 👌
Absolutely! But only if there is a open scene. If you make a short film, I hope I’m there to help you make it.
