Thank you for this message. Take away the miracles and you still have the love, kindness, patience, mercy, empathy, the joy he took in serving others, the wonderful object lessons, sermons, and complete lack of sin and selfishness. The Christian faith is based on the Father's love, the love and selfless sacrifice of our Lord Jesus, and the knowledge that He defeated death and the grave. He lives today. He gives us hope, and that grows into faith. I give Him all the praise my breath can muster. Amen!

Thank you Pastor Boonstra. You are a blessing and an inspiration to me. May the Lord continue to bless you with His Spirit as you work with Him and for Him. May the Lord help us all to be a witness for Him so He can complete the work on this world and then the end shall come. Come Lord Jesus! 🙏

I like the line of reasoning you're using here. About 10 years ago I came to the conclusion that at least as far as the Old Testament goes, the further on the written Word developed, the less amount of miracles there were. We were expected to rely on the Word more. Jesus' ministry forms an exception to this rule but then we get no more after the early church. This is of course is why many today are uneasy at the thought of any prophet. But I like the end of Revelation 10 which did predict prophecy would come again.

We know Jesus does not look that way.

If GOD wanted us to have the image of Christ He would have done do . There’s a reason why He didn’t.
      GOD bless!!!

Paganism was strengthened by politics. It left its imprint everywhere. Even on the names of the days and months and it corrupted Christianity. Today, greeting members by saying "Happy Sabbath" is being attacked . Pagans and Christians are perpetuating the days of the week being referred to as "Happy". But, how can Adventists promote this knowing God made only one day " happy," namely the Sabbath. He blessed it. Happy means blessed. You bless the pagan gods when you follow the practice of attaching "happy" to other days of the week. Paganism is rampant
