  • Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr joins live from Beirut, Lebanon. Khodr reports that an explosion has occurred in the southern suburb of Dahiyeh, a Hezbollah stronghold. Describing it as a major escalation, she notes that initial reports suggest this could be a targeted assassination. While this is not the first time the area has been targeted, images from the scene reveal a building almost entirely destroyed, raising concerns about possible civilian casualties.
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera's Dorsa Jabbari reports.

The JCPOA signed between the Government of Iran and the other 5 signers was a good deal , it removed the sanctions so that should be the main focus of the new elected government that has promised reforms

International Humanitarian Law prohibits attacks that are "not directed at a specific military objective". However, it was already proven very early on that the explosions of the devices were not carried out against specific military targets, but on the contrary, military targets and civilians were injured or neutralized without distinction.
In the case of Lebanon also, it appears that there has been a violation of the ban on trapped mechanisms associated with political use. This restriction is provided for in the 1996 Protocol on the Prohibition or Restriction of the Use of Mines, Traps and Other Devices. According to the protocol: "The use of booby traps or other devices in the form of apparently harmless portable objects specially designed and constructed to contain explosive material is prohibited."
However, in order for the attacks to be considered legitimate, measures would have to be taken to protect civilians and ensure that the explosions only hit legitimate military targets. However, this did not happen.

It needs to find a political solution to its occupation of Gaza, West Bank, Golan Heights and Parts of Lebanon and abide by the Geneva Convention and International law. Violence has not worked for the last 75 years, and it will never work especially now that is Israel is being regarded as a Pariah State by the global community.
Those who real care for the long-term security of Israel must push for a political solution those who are calling for more violence are just subjecting the next generations of Israels to more violence and insecurity. You might want to take some time out and reflect on the words of 2 wise men below. God Bless!
"We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians."- Nelson Mandela
