My chicken coop is on wheels and so moves every day and I don't have raspberries. However I have allowed a clump of wine berry to wild grow outside of my garden which is delicious and sometimes prolific. It actually does border on the chicken tunnel I built for my flock to manage my garden perimeter and the girls definitely like their bonus berries! This is my first season with the chicken tunnel though so maybe next year I'll be able to tell if their droppings make a fertilizing difference.

Nice! I don't think I've ever had wineberry. I'll have to check into those!

I've never grown raspberries, because I've heard they are a little hard to contain (and I don't really like to eat them). I do grow thornless blackberries, and this year was the best year yet. I train the canes along a chainlink fence, so they are very easy to pick.

Raspberries will readily spread, although I haven't run into too much problem with keeping them contained. As long as I mow or weedwhack and that grow up outside of the area I want them in, all is good. Raspberries and peaches are my two favorite fruits, I can't imagine summer without them.
I want to maybe get some thornless blackberries. I do have wild ones that pop up around here, but the thorns on them are insane.
