Thank you for this. Am currently going through postpartum anxiety so this really helped. Did you find some of your physical symptoms returned after they went away for a few months. X

+cazzydoo28 Aww you're very welcome! I hope you have the support that you want and need to get through it, whatever that might entail for yourself! I am glad it has helped to watch this, if only a little.
If you mean the lack of sleep, headaches, lack of appetite .. then yes, at times of anxiety/worry/stress - for example if my daughter was unwell with a cold or anything, I'd start to feel a bit anxious again and some of those symptoms returned.. They just weren't as uncontrollable, because I'd learnt some coping mechanisms.
I hope my reply answered your questions, but if that's not what you meant, please don't hesitate to ask me any more!
:) hope you start to feel more like yourself soon. you're not alone and i'm sure you're doing the best job you possibly can! Keep up the good work Mumma!
From one mum, to another! xxx

Thank you so much for replying . Yes I am attending CBT and had some one to one counselling which I find helpful but have self referred again as I have relapsed. How long did you suffer for , was it mainly anxiety . Mine is more so anxiety. Many physical symptoms ( feeling tired, lack of sleep, tight throat sensation, at times I felt like I was on a boat, spaced out, a feeling of fear and dread. Worrying about my healthy and my babies health. Afraid to be alone) I occasionally woke feeling low which would ease after getting up . Also my glances felt tender around my ears, more so when the anxiety was worse and my teeth I have clenched at times . I began experiencing symptoms when my son was 2 months . I started to feel a bit better at 10 months and now experiencing some anxiety again . My son is 13 months but I do manage it well xX

Hi, I'm sorry to hear you've been having such a difficult time.
I urge you to seek some sort of help and support in a professional capacity, whether that is with or without medication, or with a combination of therapy and medication.
The stigma attached to mental health is slowly disappearing and you'll have a lot of support to help you through. You will see an end, if you utilise services available to you.
Though you feel alone, there are many who will be going through something similar, so although you're having such a hard time, take comfort you are absolutely not alone and many have taken a journey not too dissimilar from yours, and come out the other end.
I wish you all the luck in the world. X
