Thanks so much for sharing - just paired this mic to my iPhone for voiceovers and it's brilliant just using the voice memos app already on my phone and then sharing via airdrop. Perfection!
This is awesome ! I was just thinking the other day . Why doesn’t apple just allow you to use their apple air pods to record audio to their videos . It’s so silly that they don’t do it . I bet you it is on their mind to eventually turn their iPhone into a great all round phone and vlog camera . This dji mic 2 is a great work around . Thanks for sharing how ever I did notice that the audio/ your voice sounds muffled with this setup :( can that be improved?
I don't know but I don't think phones can do that, but I don't know which phone can connect to more than one audio Bluetooth at once, so it's more on the phone side
@MartinWongPhoto hey Martin, I found out the store I got it from sold me the wrong one they sold the mic 1 ! So I got a refund . However I got in touch with DJI and they told me the mic 2 can connect via Bluetooth but you won't get noise cancellation
How did you get the Bluetooth recording on the smartphone and the internal recording to work simultaneously? Mine refuses to start recording internally when it is connected to smartphone. I looked at the DJI Mic 2 manual, and even they say "When connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth, the standalone recording and noise reduction functions of the transmitter are unavailable." BUMMER!
@@MartinWongPhoto Can you make a video showing the steps for connecting to smartphone and using internal recording. The Bluetooth audio quality is disappointing and crackles sometimes, even while just a few feet away from the phone. I would like to record internally to be able to sync the audio later. The alternative is to disconnect the Bluetooth and record internally, separate from the phone and sync later. I guess that's basically the same.
¡Hola!
@@MartinWongPhoto I mean, I purchased the DJI Mic 2 and my Samsung phone will not record from an external mic on the rear facing camera. The "pro video" setting does not have a rear facing option that I could find. I had to purchase the receiver.
It's not really made for apple since it requires using a third party app, if anything, it was more useful for the android side since you can use the native app

Glad it was helpful!
so even for android we need 3rd party app to record via bluetooth, can you suggest some good applications?
can I record my voice without connecting it to any phones?
Yes, you can record it to internal memory
@@MartinWongPhotohow do I access the internal memory. Just connect it to a pc?
Is there a setting under pro selection that shows up for the USB connection with the DJI MIc 2?
Thanks for your youtube, it help me to connect DJI Mic 2 to my insta360 Ace pro.
glad it helped!
how bro? ive been struggling connecting my DJI mic 2 to my Ace Pro
This is awesome !

Yea it's cause I was whispering very quietly and it's hard to control haha
But I also recommend using internal recording
AHH! i also just saw some other youtubers say that they then run the audio through adobe audio AI which is a handy tip but extra workflow
mine is not working for samsung s23 ultra? can you suggest?
Thank You I was able to connect on my s23. Have a great day.
Glad I could help
On regular S23?
Hello! Thank You for this video.
There is problem with asynchrony during Bluetooth recording?
The videos that you saw here are straight from my phone
@@MartinWongPhoto thanks!
Can I connect it with laptop and use it for Zoom Meeeting?
yes you can
Will the mic work with the regular camera app of google pixel?
Possibly, I don't have a google pixel so I can't test it
Great video! What bluetooth codec is used when connected to an android phone? IPhone audio sounds terrible 🫤
you are a legend, can i connect two transmitters to bluetooth?
Does this work with just iphone bluetooth and dji osmo mobile 6 without a receiver on DJI mimo app?
I was using the other app to enable bluetooth mic
@@MartinWongPhoto is it possible for you to check if it works directly with dji mimo without a receiver? Thanks a mill!
Can we actually get a good signal if we're facing backward from the transmitter/smartphone? Tq
It's using bluetooth, I don't think our body really block bluetooth that way
@@MartinWongPhoto Ok. Thx
Hi Martin. Great video. Are you able to connect 2 transmitters/mics at the same time- so you kan make an i.e. interview?
I don't have two, so I haven't tried it yet
@@MartinWongPhoto thanks
Does the noise cancelation work if you are using mic without receiver?
Can you turn noise cancelation on or off?
Yes, you can do that by pressing the power button once
Were you using S23+/S23 ultra or the regular S23?
not sure lol, i think the ultra
Can you connect and use multiple mics to the phone to record a conversation with two people?
I don't know but I don't think phones can do that, but I don't know which phone can connect to more than one audio Bluetooth at once, so it's more on the phone side
How far from your phone can the mic still work… what is the distance
it depends on the bluetooth
can you do a video on how to use the DJI mic wireless ?
What do you mean. It's wireless
@@MartinWongPhoto DJI Mic 1
Thanks bro
No problem
Will it still record in 32 Floating Bit when connected to Bluetooth?
3:53 - it's just a 5 min video, how you miss this? lol
@@dennav5729 that shows it records, not that it is still in 32bit floating....
@@n8ureb It records onboard 32bit floating and saves it internally.
I don't think smartphones support 32 bit float recording but I would record a copy directly to the mic's onboard memory by pressing the red button
Not working its flashing green fast when I let go after holding It few seconds
are you holding the right buttons?
@MartinWongPhoto hey Martin, I found out the store I got it from sold me the wrong one they sold the mic 1 ! So I got a refund . However I got in touch with DJI and they told me the mic 2 can connect via Bluetooth but you won't get noise cancellation

What about it?
Black magic android version?

How to conect my phone dji microphone 1 Bluetooth
I don't know much about the mic 1 since I don't have them
Nao trm essa função no xiaomi
what about not video, but sound record in adroid, dji mic2 can't be connected
I'm not sure since I don't really have an android device
Why record so quite?
It's 32 bits float so you can adjust the volume in post however you like
So this doesn't look like pro video can do rear facing camera. Which is unfortunate because I use the phone for teleprompter.
What?

oh that i'm not sure, since I actually don't own an android phone anymore
Pro camera App in android is not for everyone
Android version thats just app samsung only can do that
Please use dead cat bro...
When I'm inside?!
@@MartinWongPhoto yes, when you talk to mic directly, and blow air in and whispering, it is much better when you have it on, you can try...
Will do!
