Also did Tim Jackson write part of the full feature? I feel like he did because of the same hand flam drags at 0:37 because I remember from Rhythm x's snare feature this year had similar writing.
I was about to list off the writing staff but had to look it up and it turns out he actually was part of the dream-team of staff they had on that year. Who by the way, are all coming back in 2024; they're gonna be trouble!
I'm going to look back on this and really appreciate it for what it is. Just not now! I'm still too upset that this percussion section took first in finals and the entire corp took eighth! Some other day thought... I'll have a better perspective! :)
Thats how it goes sometimes i guess. I don’t usually get too invested into the scorings these days. There was a season BD got 100 for their guard even there was a drop during the performance lol. I just like to appreciate the shows for what they are
@@201_ace Yeah I don’t really like that they charge for the recipes, I’d much rather get a free recipe because they are still quality, like the Bluecoats bakery
Those 2D nasty plumes make me sad. Thats some lazy, cheap, corner cut'n bs. As much as maintenance fees are, they could more than afford the real thing. Nasty. And not in a good way.
That recovery was IMPECCABLE. Good job center snare
Yeah i didn’t even notice it the first time around
They're so good, I didn't even notice until you pointed it out.
yeah let's nobody point it out for us normal mfers or anything
Where did he mess up?
@@Johan_Liebert___ at 00:44. Towards the center, after the casey claw stick trick. Snare loses control of the stick for a second
I’ve so missed the traditional style uniforms. Especially these guys hats. Soooooo clean.
Yeah, its definitely a nice classy look!
Modern uniforms that still pay homage to old schools ones are the way to go and I feel like the trend will grow to more corps in the next few years
@@alex_prochazkaI wish crown would still do the 2013-2016 style like it was themed to the show but still had recognition
@he4t0fthesun absolutely
Most entertaining snare feature I've seen in a long time.
Fred Sanford award drumline.
Thank you Cavaliers for keeping it traditional. I really miss bands that had a type of Identity that you could see and hear.
The dot accuracy is amazing
Wowww. Finaly new / modern DCwith respect for traditional DC. That is innovative
While I do love modern dci this show was a great combination of both, hope we see more like this
It’s not that modern dci doesn’t respect tradition. The corps wanna try new things like new uniforms, instruments, electronics and props.
@@naruke9373 true, but a combination of old and new aspects was really nice
@@landoon995 agreed. The uniforms look really clean. I loved a lot of the uniforms/themed uniforms this year.
The pit chords match the vibe of the feature at 0:33 so well idk how

Center snare ticked on the stick flip. Still won percussion.

@@201_ace + it was a good recovery
just saw it now that u mentioned ir but still a phenomenal performance
Tim Jackson
That's a visual thing isn't it? Def not musical.
this is so fucking badass 😭
Thank you cavies!
RANDY ILYYY!!!!!!
Cavies are BAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK....that claw!
whats up with the audio it cuts out at some parts
The event was livestreamed by FloMarching. So any connection issues they had during the livestream are baked into the video unfortunately.
Flomarching sucks for the most part.

@@landoon995yeah but making the banana bread yourself usually tastes good i would say.
@@Mr_Gray_1995for the whole part
Best perc for a reason!
Yeah, they are so good haha
Is this from prelims or semis?
This should be from Finals
@@201_ace finals night had the mirrored reflection on the props. Semis is the only video I wasn't able to get!
This is semis
@@darianwright9488 y’all are probably. I honestly dont remember which performance it was on their website. They are all kinda jumbled together lol
yooooooooooooo
Nothing can recapture the VFW Post Park Ridge Cavaliers.
why do I feel like the 1992 drumline is better than this line
Those 2D nasty plumes make me sad. Thats some lazy, cheap, corner cut'n bs. As much as maintenance fees are, they could more than afford the real thing.
Nasty. And not in a good way.
it was a stylistic choice, not a budget restriction. Look at the props, it was intentional and thought out.
Better than the other uniforms that were fielded homie. I support these
bands?????? really?????
Drum Corps
At least they wore actual uniforms lat year. DCI is so gay now.
