these edits are just perfect, because of the quality, the song, the choice of the pictures, the talk, everything is made for making us feel the story and not just listen to it ; i don't find that talent everywhere on youtube and less on clone wars (best star wars production), for those who know the whole story and get a recap like this, well this go right the heart but realy, not a little emotion. you understood the thing, you can count on it to succeed, clone wars is a large thing, there is not only clones (even though they're my favorites) but other characters and you'd finish with that you could on a videogame story ( WHAT i loved is the "not real" look of the show because it surely allow to imagine ; it's not the same with a show like breaking bad which looks too realistic to let imagination interfere in that. i want to tell you : WOW you're amazing, you get me subscribe to your channel have a good day/night, have rest and enjoy life a new fan
I’m not defending cross hair’s actions or trying to justify them but he does have a point when he points out how they left him behind and didn’t really try to help him
But it's also hypocritical of Crosshair to get mad at them when they "left him behind" after he says he'd have left Echo behind to. Not to mention, if anyone told Echo about what Crosshair said, he'd probably be Ok with leaving Crosshair to the Empire.
@@Skiritai Yeah um...Echo got blown up. They just said "See ya!" to Crosshair, even after figuring out about the chips. I love Echo, but most people would've left him behind. Because...explosion.

I mean… he did do what he thought was right. If he had followed the bad batch then he would betray his beliefs, and what kind of a man would he be then?
What I find interesting is how the Bad Batch continually underestimated Crosshair in terms of strategy. They kept trying to fool him with unpredictable strategies, not realising that because he was one of them, those "unpredictable" strategies were very predictable. The only time they caught him off guard was with the Venators engine. They didn't forget he was one of them, but I get the impression that they thought his inhibitor chip changed more of his mind than it actually did. It's like they only saw him as one of those mindless battle droids, or one of the regs. Then again, maybe they needed to think that Or maybe I'm overthinking this and it was just a case of the writers trying to keep things exciting, haha I don't know
Man, I love Crosshair. He was compelling to begin with but that finale really just elevated his character to a whole new level of complexity. I cannot WAIT to see his character arc continue.
I'm not dish on you but, Crosshair is a lot like me when I was younger. He just expects them to help him without himself asking for it. And the way his personality is, thay count see he was in needed of help until now... it just how Hunter said "All you ever be to the Empire is a number"
The finale upset me. They really did leave him behind, never went back. He needed them. And He couldn't go with them, they would never except him for who he is (except maybe Omega). He's on a different path, and doesn't dwell on the past. He needs to find his place in the universe, and all he wants is purpose. I'm hoping we see more on the sensitive side of Crosshair next season, and that he isn't left out of most of the season again. He needs more on his character, though his story has come so far and he has both tragedy and another side to him. I'll always feel sympathy and understanding of Crosshair. This edit is great man! Keep it up!
Would really be a disappointment if the second season is full of fillers again, I really enjoyed him in those last two episodes. I completely agree with you, he wants to be together with his brothers again, but he just needs to fulfill his purpose as a soldier, it’s all he has, and he wants his brothers to have this purpose too. I cannot wait to see how crosshairs story ends. Him not having a chip has made him a far more interesting character. He isn't just another clone who fell victim to the chip, he is an individual who chose the empire willingly. With one sentence Crosshairs story and character has been turned upside down. I can't wait to see what's in the future for him.
The more I watch videos like this, the more I want Crosshair to return to them. When I watch the episodes back, it does feel weird him not being with them as he's still one of them. I hope somewhere in Season 2, he gets the chance to redeem himself. He showed in the final episode there's still good in him and that he still loves his brothers.
I agree but I hope it's not an easy return - I'd like him to come back into the fold at some point but there's so much potential in his story still, and I don't think any of them can forgive each other easily at this point. I also really love the complexity of a clone who chooses the Empire, and I want them to explore that further for a while.

This edit has me SHOOK! From the start I had chills, and by the end I was in tears! The music is stunning, this arrangement of the clips and especially the dialogue took my breath away! This edit is INCREDIBLE! One of the best TBB edits I've seen!
If you don’t mind me asking how did you get rid of the background music and change the dialogue volume? I would love to have edits without having to mute a few scenes cause of the background music
@@mrhappeh6067 I use torrent to download the show from sites like 1337x, and the footage usually comes in .mkv format which has 5.1 audio. With this there are multiple audio channels and that way you can just mute the channels with the background music in them in your editing software and leave the one with dialogue. Sounds complicated but really isn’t, you can search up “How to remove background music from shows” or “6 channel audio tutorial” and I’m pretty sure you’ll find something. Hope I could be a help, good luck man :)

The thing about Crosshair not having his chip fits really well with what Tech said earlier in the season that "he can't help it, it is his nature" to act they way he does. I mean, he was literally engineered to be that way from the start. Clone force 99 was/is an experimental unit, not only in terms of abilities, but also personalities. I am sure that Crosshair, althogh still relatively good at heart, still is willing and capable of doing horrible acts because he was "designed" to do so, even without the inhibitor chip.
I never realized until now when Crosshair had that fight with Rex about Echo how ironic it is now. Yes to an extent Crosshair does have a choice but at the same time at this point deserting the Empire would led to his imprisonment and probably execution since he's a clone. He himself doesn't realize how much he is controlled perhaps not by the chip if he truly had it removed & by the Empire itself.
I'm so emo over this. I still think Crosshair will begin to see the cracks in the Empire after being so desperate to belong somewhere, but this is heart-breaking.
I wonder if Thrawn's Empire of the Hand might be the faction that's best for Crosshair; after all, it's pragmatic enough to still appeal to Crosshair's sensibilities, but not needlessly cruel enough to continue pushing Crosshair down his current dark path. (Plus, I do have a theory that all of the surviving Bad Batch members will be persuaded/blackmailed into faking their deaths, in order to secretly help the Chiss Ascendancy in their ongoing war against the Grysk/Yuuzhan Vong)

Because TBB might be a bit old by the time that rolls around, especially if they're aging as fast as they are. Thought it would be pretty on brand for Thrawn to see a squad he likes and go "I like them, these ones are mine now" lol.
@@codysmovingcastle "Old Man Rex" was still helpful enough to aid the Rebels on Endor, so I have every bit of confidence that the Bad Batch remnants (even in old age/twilight years) will likewise still prove to be useful team players (in the anticipated war). Though who knows what the future of Star Wars holds? Perhaps Nala Se (now that she's vulnerable and perhaps feeling repentant for her earlier actions) might feel inclined to provide an anti-aging solution for the Bad Batch?

Such a good tribute ❤ Crosshair is my favorite character because even though he was "the villain" I couldn't stop feeling a bit of sympathy for him. He's just very different from what we usually see and has potential to be a incredibly complex character in the futur, I just hope the writers do him justice in season 2...
The clones were all brothers, but the Bad Batch are unique. They are, in a word, outcasts. They're not regs. They're not identical, for the most part. No clone, with the exception of Boba Fett (probably), has an exact copy of Jango Fett's personality. There are small, minute differences in each of them. However, the Bad Batch pushes these differences to an extreme. They have qualities that are immensely useful to those they serve, and devastating to those they face. Throughout they're short lives, they've been ostracized and demonized by their "brothers" and only found acceptance in one another. In that time, they're definition of "sibling" has been whittled down from the millions to five. I can see his point of staying with the Empire. He has purpose with them, instead of wandering aimlessly through the galaxy with no place in it. The brothers he once loved and cared for disobeyed two direct orders, put the squad at risk of termination, left Crosshair behind, and then burned him and, again, left him. He does, however, retain some good or a sense of honor. I can't tell which at this point, but he still executed his own squad on Kamino, despite them being allies, and chose to save Omega's life (repaying the favor she did him) despite them being enemies.
I think crosshair is one of the most complex and well built charecters in the clone wars and probably one of my favorite charecters in the entire saga. Amazing video i got goosebumps when he said "this is who i am"
oh really? then tell me what is his motivation, why did he turn against his squad, why does he stay loyal to the empire, why is he the villain of the show? this montage explains nothing, because the show doesnt either. Crosshair is just there so they have a villain. its a conflict thats just shoehorned into the show. if they took time to explain the characters better it might work, but it doesnt.

I wished Hunter said this to Crosshair in Episode 15 or Episode 16 “Crosshair what did the Empire promise you?” “You really think they will let you live after your usefulness is done.” That line is from the movie War for the Planet of the Apes 2017.
What can I even say?? This vid is just top-notch quality from start to finish. You not only work magic with the audio and visual elements, but you manage to tell a story (and beautifully so, I might add). Every parallel, flashback, and scene flows together and complements one another perfectly. I'm not even a Crosshair fan (or at least, I'm a bit split on my opinion of him), but this edit really drew me into his story and made me feel all the feels. Seriously great work man!
My expectations for your bad batch edit after the season rapped were pretty high, but I am by no means disappointed. From the interweaving of dialogue to the escalating pace to the distortion you applied in to specific shots, everything came together extremely well. Great and Fantastic edit! Crosshair is now one of my favourite Star Wars characters. His arc is a deep one. He also makes a fair point about the Empire, and knowing Crosshair made the choice it shows he's a character who can grow, and change. He's a Sniper so he when he sees his targets through a Sniper Scope he sees it from a different perspective than your normal soldier. Crosshair sees the more human side in his targets. He thinks he's bringing order to the Galaxy while in the Empire to bring what he thinks is peace.
i've watched your recent videos made for "the clones wars" series, your music choice and video editing is amazing. You picked the right scenes and lines to mash them together with the music. Its very impactful and amazing calibre, not to mention your video posting frequency for such quality. Keep up the amazing work. definitely hits a lot of marks.

Honestly this is one of those few times I started off hating a character. But then grew to love how he is written. Crosshair is definitely unique on that list however.

Well, if you have an idea for an edit, you have a certain picture of how you will put together clips, music and character traits and motives. For example, after the music dropped and Crosshair made clear that it is not his inhibitor chip but his true self, I started putting in scenes where he is with the empire and trying to convince the batch to join it. I don’t really know how to explain it, but once you know the direction you want to go with while editing, you just put the right dialogue and look for the clips that fit to it. When he said “You will have purpose again” I thought of them working together and serving the republic like they did once, so I put the clips where they come out of battle victorious. I hope I could explain it, if that’s what you even mean lol

This is honestly perfection. I don’t see how you could’ve made it better. Flawlessly edited. Everything fit together so perfectly and it is beautiful. It gives us a brilliant insight into Crosshair’s character and really emphasises how lost he is and how much he still loves his brothers. He’s hurt, he’s angry (and he has every right to be) and now he’s alone. But there’s still hope. There’s still a chance. And I like how you show both sides of Crosshair’s conflict (his and the Batch’s) and how in doing so, it implies that they’re all just victims of the Empire, either being used like the tools they were made to be or discarded because they won’t comply. Overall, I think this video does Crosshair’s character justice and I’m really glad you made it ❤️❤️❤️

Sorry, I know this is supposed to be serious, but I always see humor in whatever I watch! 😅
The thing about Crosshair not having his chip fits really well with what Tech said earlier in the season that "he can't help it, it is his nature" to act they way he does. I mean, he was literally engineered to be that way from the start. Clone force 99 was/is an experimental unit, not only in terms of abilities, but also personalities. I am sure that Crosshair, althogh still relatively good at heart, still is willing and capable of doing horrible acts because he was "designed" to do so, even without the inhibitor chip.
I never realized until now when Crosshair had that fight with Rex about Echo how ironic it is now. Yes to an extent Crosshair does have a choice but at the same time at this point deserting the Empire would led to his imprisonment and probably execution since he's a clone. He himself doesn't realize how much he is controlled perhaps not by the chip if he truly had it removed & by the Empire itself.
I'm a 29 year old grown ass man. And this still brings tears to my eyes. Crosshair.
I'm so emo over this. I still think Crosshair will begin to see the cracks in the Empire after being so desperate to belong somewhere, but this is heart-breaking.
I wonder if Thrawn's Empire of the Hand might be the faction that's best for Crosshair; after all, it's pragmatic enough to still appeal to Crosshair's sensibilities, but not needlessly cruel enough to continue pushing Crosshair down his current dark path.
(Plus, I do have a theory that all of the surviving Bad Batch members will be persuaded/blackmailed into faking their deaths, in order to secretly help the Chiss Ascendancy in their ongoing war against the Grysk/Yuuzhan Vong)

Do you mean around the same time Thrawn sends Eli and Ronan off to help with the Ascendancy? Because TBB might be a bit old by the time that rolls around, especially if they're aging as fast as they are. Thought it would be pretty on brand for Thrawn to see a squad he likes and go "I like them, these ones are mine now" lol.
@@codysmovingcastle "Old Man Rex" was still helpful enough to aid the Rebels on Endor, so I have every bit of confidence that the Bad Batch remnants (even in old age/twilight years) will likewise still prove to be useful team players (in the anticipated war).
Though who knows what the future of Star Wars holds? Perhaps Nala Se (now that she's vulnerable and perhaps feeling repentant for her earlier actions) might feel inclined to provide an anti-aging solution for the Bad Batch?

Crosshair is my favorite character because even though he was "the villain" I couldn't stop feeling a bit of sympathy for him. He's just very different from what we usually see and has potential to be a incredibly complex character in the futur, I just hope the writers do him justice in season 2...

The clones were all brothers, but the Bad Batch are unique.
They are, in a word, outcasts. They're not regs. They're not identical, for the most part. No clone, with the exception of Boba Fett (probably), has an exact copy of Jango Fett's personality. There are small, minute differences in each of them.
However, the Bad Batch pushes these differences to an extreme. They have qualities that are immensely useful to those they serve, and devastating to those they face.
Throughout they're short lives, they've been ostracized and demonized by their "brothers" and only found acceptance in one another. In that time, they're definition of "sibling" has been whittled down from the millions to five.
I can see his point of staying with the Empire. He has purpose with them, instead of wandering aimlessly through the galaxy with no place in it. The brothers he once loved and cared for disobeyed two direct orders, put the squad at risk of termination, left Crosshair behind, and then burned him and, again, left him.
He does, however, retain some good or a sense of honor. I can't tell which at this point, but he still executed his own squad on Kamino, despite them being allies, and chose to save Omega's life (repaying the favor she did him) despite them being enemies.
I think crosshair is one of the most complex and well built charecters in the clone wars and probably one of my favorite charecters in the entire saga.

oh really? then tell me what is his motivation, why did he turn against his squad, why does he stay loyal to the empire, why is he the villain of the show?
this montage explains nothing, because the show doesnt either. Crosshair is just there so they have a villain. its a conflict thats just shoehorned into the show. if they took time to explain the characters better it might work, but it doesnt.

I relate heavily to Croshair, Hunter, and Teck. My kit would be a combination of all 3.

What can I even say?? This vid is just top-notch quality from start to finish. You not only work magic with the audio and visual elements, but you manage to tell a story (and beautifully so, I might add). Every parallel, flashback, and scene flows together and complements one another perfectly. I'm not even a Crosshair fan (or at least, I'm a bit split on my opinion of him), but this edit really drew me into his story and made me feel all the feels. Seriously great work man!

My expectations for your bad batch edit after the season rapped were pretty high, but I am by no means disappointed. From the interweaving of dialogue to the escalating pace to the distortion you applied in to specific shots, everything came together extremely well. Great and Fantastic edit! Crosshair is now one of my favourite Star Wars characters. His arc is a deep one. He also makes a fair point about the Empire, and knowing Crosshair made the choice it shows he's a character who can grow, and change. He's a Sniper so he when he sees his targets through a Sniper Scope he sees it from a different perspective than your normal soldier. Crosshair sees the more human side in his targets. He thinks he's bringing order to the Galaxy while in the Empire to bring what he thinks is peace.

@@cw_edits Hmm, can I ask you something? Where do you get the scenes, I mean, how do you look for them? Because this video has been awesome, the scenes, the music, everything fits soooo well.
Well, if you have an idea for an edit, you have a certain picture of how you will put together clips, music and character traits and motives. For example, after the music dropped and Crosshair made clear that it is not his inhibitor chip but his true self, I started putting in scenes where he is with the empire and trying to convince the batch to join it. I don’t really know how to explain it, but once you know the direction you want to go with while editing, you just put the right dialogue and look for the clips that fit to it.
When he said “You will have purpose again” I thought of them working together and serving the republic like they did once, so I put the clips where they come out of battle victorious.
I hope I could explain it, if that’s what you even mean lol

This is honestly perfection. I don’t see how you could’ve made it better. Flawlessly edited. Everything fit together so perfectly and it is beautiful. It gives us a brilliant insight into Crosshair’s character and really emphasises how lost he is and how much he still loves his brothers. He’s hurt, he’s angry (and he has every right to be) and now he’s alone.
But there’s still hope. There’s still a chance. And I like how you show both sides of Crosshair’s conflict (his and the Batch’s) and how in doing so, it implies that they’re all just victims of the Empire, either being used like the tools they were made to be or discarded because they won’t comply.
Overall, I think this video does Crosshair’s character justice and I’m really glad you made it ❤️❤️❤️
