Started working on this back when episode 3 of Kenobi came out, never found the motivation to finish it until now. Also, this is my first time editing live action since like 36 years, so keep that in mind if there's something I forgot or could've done differently, but all feedback is appreciated!

Obi-Wan: Anakin is like my brother. I cannot kill him.

It's honestly nothing short of a miracle Oni-wan didn't break like Anakin did.
He was the father Anakin needed...yet even that wasent enough.
"I'm sorry Anakin...for all of it"
It kills you inside knowing after everything HE blames himself for it all, his masters death, the purge, his brothers fall. Yet Anakin's words both lift the burden and bring an even worse one on him:
"you didn't kill Anakin Skywalker...*I* Did~"
In one sentence he brands himself as the sole means of why the galaxy is in darkness now.
In his own twisted way, that was Vader’s way of absolving Obi-Wan.
It’s not your fault, but I am responsible for its entirety.
This totally broke me I am a huge arcane/league of legends and Star Wars fan but combined… absolutely phenomenal

This is beautiful. Since i was a kid, I’ve wondered what kind of PTSD obi wan would have had after the revenge of the sith, and the show did a good job conveying the anguish he felt… but this… dude. This video breaks my heart. I love it.
This song is phenomenal. It’s universal to practically every personal tragedy. Touching on the tragedy of loss, of lost futures, bitterness and the death of what was.
And it’s such a profoundly bitter thing to say, “I wish my pain on you.” an opposite of the “I wouldn’t wish my pain on anyone.”
With “I want you to hurt like you hurt me today and I want you to lose like I lose.”
Arcane was truly masterful from its characters to its music.
Star Wars is fraught with ups and downs but I still think that the through line of the Prequels about the fall of Anakin and the fallout affecting those closest to him was still a great tragic story.
This complication was an excellent fusion showing all of it.
The kenobi show hammer’s home just how broken and alone Obi wan and Anakin both are after the tragic and heartbreaking scene on Mustafar at the end of revenge of the Sith. The kenobi show also shows how emotionally damaged both Obi wan and Anakin are by everything that happened to them and how innocent , optimistic and young they were when Qui gon died and how they both had too grow up far too quickly and how neither of them could live up to the dogmatic perfection the people like Mace Windu damanded in the end.Although Obi wan did try too for a long time .
The saddest song for the saddest story
One of the best edits I’ve seen of this show. Loved the small part with Ahsoka too. Seeing these 3 in live action is something I’ll always be grateful for after feeling forgotten as a clone wars fan in 2014-18
I wouldn’t say clone wars fans were forgotten during rebels’ run
Ahsoka, Hondo, Rex, Maul, Obi wan (briefly), Vader, Bo Katan and more appeared in rebels.
watching the original trilogy and the clone wars and then this. Truly puts into perspective how much potential manipulation can be used over anyone not matter the brotherhood.
Obi wan lost his master his friends his love his brother and still stayed in the light. A true jedi.

This vid started off good, but when it got to the climax I actually started crying. Like, the RotS and Kenobi didn't make me cry, but you did. Obi-Wan's "I'm sorry, Anakin" over the Scene That Shall Not be Named fucking *hurt* to see. Ewan's acting there was so perfect. You could just hear the years of guilt and regret and self-torture coming out like a dam had been broken. And it hurts even more knowing that Obi-Wan *isn't* responsible for what happened to Anakin. Obi-Wan did everything he could to help Anakin, but Ani made his choices. That's on him, not Obi-Wan-but I digress. You always have the most brilliant way of matching scenes, dialogue, and music, something that felt extra-potent in this edit. And speaking of music, what an excellent choice of song! Arcane is literally the only show in the world I love even more than TCW, so you're just combining my two favorite universes here. I'll cut my rambling short since I have to get to class, but thank you as always for this beautiful video

This song was so well written because it was made specifically for one "betrayal" story but it fits the entire trope perfectly
Some people forget about Anakin from Episode 1 The Phantom Menace. They need to create a TV series that takes place during the 10 years between The Phantom Menace and Attack of The Clones. Back in 2001, there was a Jedi Quest comic. The plot takes place 4 years after Episode 1, with Anakin building his own lightsaber and fighting the ghost of Darth Maul. Obi Wan had long hair and no beard and it was a cool look for him. Anakin and Obi Wan go on a mission to save an undercover Jedi named Siri Tachi. Anakin gets trapped on a ship and comes face to face with slave pirate, who has a connection to his past. Obi Wan looks for information on the slave traitor on Coruscant and another planet, then goes to rescue his apprentice. Meanwhile, Anakin briefly turns to the dark side and kills for the very first time. It would be really great if Disney could bring that Legends story to live action or animation to life.
This is what the Obi Wan series gave us. The change these two went through. It was fantastic. Great video as always!

Just yesterday I rewatched Arcane with a friend who saw it for the first time.
He said that the whole show felt very similar to Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One and that Jinx reminded him of Anakin.
This conveys the story so well using the music and just editing the parts.

As an Arcane and SW fan, I’ve been drawing parallels all over the place lol (adopted dads, Jinx/Vader, time travel (ekko/Ezra S4 when he saves Ahsoka). Would you consider more songs from Arcane like Guns for Hire or Dynasties and Dystopia, just out of curiosity?? Love the ost for Arcane lol
Yeah the arcane soundtrack is amazing, I've actually started working on Guns for Hire for Anakin a few months ago, but I don't think I'll be able to finish it any time soon😅

It’s physically hurts seeing revenge of the Sith! I just re-watched it , and I was crying the hole time and feeling a pain in my chest. Anakin will always be my childhood hero, no matter what he has done!!!

To see you apply your skills to the live action stuff is super exciting. Though I had my problems with the show, it gave us some awesome moments. Loved the parallel action shots with the inclusion of scene 38, and the audio snippet from the unfinished Clone Wars arc!
