I love how Kenobi seeing Anakin through his cracked helmet mirrors Ahsoka! They both were close to Anakin and they both failed to save Anakin from the dark side. It was why Ahsoka told Ezra he can’t save Kanan and why Kenobi told Luke that Vader can’t be saved. Kenobi and Ahsoka were the past but Luke and Leia were the future and it was Luke that bought the light side out of Anakin in the end. Sadly thanks to Disney, Luke let history repeat itself and Ben became like a Vader Jr but at least he went to the light and sacrificed himself to revive Rey (something Anakin desired of doing by saving loved ones from death). The Skywalker family truly is tragic.

The sad truth is, Reva was correct. Obi wan didnt want anakin dead. If anakin would have taken over and defeated vader in the kenobi series, he would have forgiven him and taken him back. Obi wan could fight a sith lord. But his best friend? No matter the evil, like padme, he couldnt truly ever hate him. He had to believe anakin was dead to consider having him killed.

Star wars is about both Obi wan and Anakin it's about how the deaths of the and loses of the few people they truly loved and cared about affected them , it about how both the Jedi and Sith broke and destroyed two brothers relationship apart seemingly forever. its about how the younger brother was tricked and manipulated into trusting a creepy old man over he his brother and wife . But its also about years after the collapse of the Republic and rise of empire Luke showed both Obi wan and Anakin there was still good and hope in the galaxy . Because Luke in a way saved both Anakin and Obi wan .
