you are the calmest person i could ever watch. i passed my permit test and i am practicing now and i struggle the most on maintaining my speed. im either going a bit too fast like 5 or too slow because im afraid of people thinking im too slow when im on the road but i still match the speed limit no matter what. i still have so long until i take the road test but im still nervous

I am driver with 14 years of experience, recently moved to United States and I am preparing now for my drivers exam. In my opinion it is harder to take the exam when you are already a driver, because people develop some bad habits when do things for a long time, so your videos are so helpful for me to again draw my attention to the most important aspects in driving. I cant express enough how much I love your videos and the positive energy you radiate! ❤

Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience! It's true that even experienced drivers can develop habits that might not align with different driving rules, like those in the United States. It's great to hear our videos are helping you refresh and adapt your driving skills for your upcoming exam. Your proactive approach and willingness to learn are commendable. Best of luck with your driver's exam, and keep enjoying the videos! Your positive feedback means a lot to us. Drive safely and confidently! 🚗📚❤️🇺🇸

I started watching driving training videos like this one to help teach my daughter who just got her learner's permit. I'm finding that these videos are helping me as well...I'm guilty of snake behavior in the past...lol...This is the second or third video I've watched of yours and I subscribed immediately because I like your instructions. I'm hoping I will be a better driver as well. Thank you!

The speed limit in Australia is not necessarily there for your safety. It’s there for revenue generating. It’s why traffic cops hang out at the bottom of hills just after a lower speed sign. The 'safe speed' is objective. A 2004 Kia won’t go-around a corner as safely as a Porsche so we all drive to the lowest common denominator

I feel like speed limits on rural interstates are there to just Wright speeding tickets. If i leagally could, i would go 95 and be just fine. Keeping right except to pass is more important imo.

I have the opposite problem. I can't get my car to the speed limit because i fear I'll go over the limit. That and as a new driver, I find it hard to determine what is 30, 40 or 50 mph without looking at the speedometer but I am scared to take my eye off the street to check the speed.

You can just do a quick glance. You shouldn’t stare because your main focus is the road. And you’re supposed to be doing that to both of your sides. To check if a car wants to merge or for other hazards. But again it should be a quick glance just like at your blind spot.

work for a traffic data analysis company and speed limits are almost artificial to an extent... they play more on expectation of what speed a road should be vs what is safe for the majority of traffic. The problem comes in when you need to pay more attention to your speed than what is going on around you... if you decide you should not go above 40mph and your car has a fair bit of horsepower, trying to keep it at 40mph can be a taxing affair... and more then that, deviations in the road, inclines ect... all require modulation and you looking at your dash to make sure you are doing 40mph... this is kind of unsafe in and of itself. It is probably better to just drive what feels safe and constantly be aware of your surroundings and if you end up going 50mph in a 40, then yes, slow down... but I wouldn't hate on anyone doing 45 in a 40 because it's a straight road with no obstructions or anything that would indicate to go slower... outside of the sign itself.

I could have made this a three minute presentation:
IN AMERICA, the posted speed limit - that which appears on a fixed or digital sign - is the MINIMUM SPEED to drive.
If you see a double speed limit sign, one reading "Speed limit 55mph and below it "Minimum speed 40", you should be driving 56mph or faster.
    Same goes for 25, 40, or 65mph.
This is AMERICA, and that is the belief.

@@slapshotjack9806 Speed limits are rigged and have little to no impact on driving. Some speed limits are abysmally slow, especially on free ways. Going below the max speed puts yourself in danger sometimes (Not always)
Also she is trusting the speed limit like a blind person, being very conservative and acting like a couple mph over the speed limit endangers everyone, but going at the speed limit she acts like it is completely normal. People will hate you and try to pass you if you are going too slow, even if it is the speed limit.
