I can't believe Isla would not only say that to people she considers friends, but then brag about having said it on public platform after her friends lost an award. That's... Wow. I wasn't expecting to hear something that nasty. It's one thing to bust balls and call your friends names or poke fun, but to insult their art and then snicker about them losing, goodness gracious. Especially since Isla's an artist herself. =/ This story was so nasty it almost made me forgot how she insulted Kyle's writing in the beginning. Look at his face. Jesus, man.

As awesome as that would be, unfortunately I believe Andor would be too young to be of any real help. Jedi Survivor is 5 years after Fallen Order, which in turn makes it 10 years after Episode 3. So Andor would be anywhere between 15 and 17 years old. I say there is a higher chance of Saw Gerrera or Luthen(Stellan Skarsgård's character) showing up. Although the game does take place around the time frame of Obi-Wan so we could very well get a reference to the events of the show or maybe even see Obi-Wan again as a small cameo like in Fallen Order.

Correction for Diablo 4's trailer: The angel in the trailer was not Tyrael, it's Inarius. Inarius is the former lover of Lilith (winged demon woman antagonist) and they're both responsible for creating the Nephelim - the race of humans you play in Diablo 3. They had some marriage issues, and now Inarius is hunting her down.
Correction: Technically you touch the analog stick to move the character in Xenoblade 3 between a few of those 2 hours worth of cutscenes, so I think in terms of the longest stretch without "gameplay" its less than an hour (but its pretty damn close to an hour). If you dont count that as gameplay (since its basically just holding the analog stick) yeah its about 2 hours. (With that said, I was sleep deprived at that point, and didn't realize in which direction I was supposed to be holding the analog stick so I was actually controlling the character for like 5-10 minutes between those cutscenes).

Listening to Isla talk about GoW and pitting it against Elden Ring in a few episodes now, it feels like reading twitter. I love Elden Ring and have like 150 hours into it, but the discussion about that game is starting to sour it for me a bit. We've had like 7 Soulsborne games back to back but put it in an open world and suddenly no other game can compare? Nah. There's a real underlying theme running through certain circles on the internet that feels bitter towards GoW for like.... no reason at all? Elden Ring won, deservedly. Can we just chill now?
Personally I think both games are a little overrated. Elden Ring is Souls in an open world and Ragnarok is a linear cinematic Sony game. They're basically polar opposites, so it makes sense their fans get into intense arguments.

I say there is a higher chance of Saw Gerrera or Luthen(Stellan Skarsgård's character) showing up. Although the game does take place around the time frame of Obi-Wan so we could very well get a reference to the events of the show or maybe even see Obi-Wan again as a small cameo like in Fallen Order.

A "Must release next year" rule does not exist for Most Anticipated Game nominees. In fact, Tears of the Kingdom was nominated in 2020, 2021, and 2022 when the first release date was announced at E3 2021 (with a 2022 release date). Elden Ring did not have a release date until June 2021 and it won in 2020 and 2021.
Also, a substantive trailer is not needed either as the Spiderman 2 trailer was longer and revealed more than the September 2020 God of War Ragnarok teaser and GoWR was nominated in 2020 and 2021.

The angel in the trailer was not Tyrael, it's Inarius. Inarius is the former lover of Lilith (winged demon woman antagonist) and they're both responsible for creating the Nephelim - the race of humans you play in Diablo 3.

Correction: Technically you touch the analog stick to move the character in Xenoblade 3 between a few of those 2 hours worth of cutscenes, so I think in terms of the longest stretch without "gameplay" its less than an hour (but its pretty damn close to an hour). If you dont count that as gameplay (since its basically just holding the analog stick) yeah its about 2 hours. (With that said, I was sleep deprived at that point, and didn't realize in which direction I was supposed to be holding the analog stick so I was actually controlling the character for like 5-10 minutes between those cutscenes).

Listening to Isla talk about GoW and pitting it against Elden Ring in a few episodes now, it feels like reading twitter. I love Elden Ring and have like 150 hours into it, but the discussion about that game is starting to sour it for me a bit.
We've had like 7 Soulsborne games back to back but put it in an open world and suddenly no other game can compare? Nah. There's a real underlying theme running through certain circles on the internet that feels bitter towards GoW for like.... no reason at all?

Personally I think both games are a little overrated. Elden Ring is Souls in an open world and Ragnarok is a linear cinematic Sony game. They're basically polar opposites, so it makes sense their fans get into intense arguments.

Stray is a better game than Plague Tale IMO. It's smarter, tighter, more creative, more memorable. I am surprised Plague Tale got nominated, I didn't like the gameplay at all. I guess Xbox had to have something there.
