Thanks a lot. there is no video like that on RUclips. You are amazing

thanks for this english spoken video
@banci1100: It's my pleasure. Thank you for your support to my channel.
This video is very helpful, thank you.
Please kindly confirm this, don't we have to download the program to the secondary CPU?
@Daniel Esinwoke: First, Thank you for your support to my channel. I confirm that we do NOT have to download the program to the "SYNC" PLC. I thought I mentioned the reason in the video. If not, the reason is it is to ensure 100% the exact program downloaded to "PRIM" PLC will be synchronized/downloaded to the "SYNC" PLC automatically once it is powered up. For redundancy system, you should not do anything to the "SYNC" CPU. All the program, setup, and configuration should be done on the "PRIM" CPU. For the "SYNC" PLC rack, the only we need to ensure is all its modules, including the CPU have the exact same firmware compared to what is on the "PRIM" PLC rack. Hopefully my response is clear, informative and answer all your concerns.
@@SYPHOANG Excellent explanation; Thanks Bro
@Daniel Esinwoke: Thank you for subscribing and your support to my channel.
@@SYPHOANG Please, can you make a video on how to Pull data from SCAME F&G Panel to ControlLogix PLC via AnyBus HMS-EN2SE-R EtherNET IP / Modbus RTU Module?
@@danielesinwoke9851: Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the ones you mentioned.
Do I need two fiber optic cables to connect between modules? Will one cable work?
@Bentimmy4: Yes, you do need 2 cables. It still works with one but you will no longer have the redundancy if that only cable fails.
hello i know its been a while since you uploaded this video. You dont need to download the program to the secondary plc rack?? thank you
@MenOfCulture8991: No, you should never and cannot download any program to the secondary PLC. The program in the primary PLC will be automatically synchronized or downloaded to the "SYNC" PLC (secondary PLC) once it is powered up to ensure no difference in programming between the 2 PLC's. That is why they are called "PRIM" and "SYNC" instead of "secondary". Thank you for your comments.
Hello, thanks for the videos. Did you download both projects to both racks (didnt look like it), because the second rack says “no project”. When you boot the second rack into secondary mode, does it automatically get the program from the primary system?
Also, what happens if you disconnect the ethernet cable from the primary or secondary rack? is checked/maintained through a ping or so between the two racks while program syncing is done through the fiber? Thanks a lot
@HelloWorld: Thank you for your support to my channel. If you watched this whole series of Redundancy Set up, you would have seen that I never downloaded the program to the second PLC rack. To download the program to the secondary PLC rack, it should be done automatically by the primary PLC rack, not manually from the PC. When both PLC racks have the program, loosing the Ethernet cable between possibly make both become primary. However, I never tried it before.
@@SYPHOANG great thanks a lot. I did watch all the videos and just made sure I didn’t miss it. Thanks for doing this, it’s very difficult to see redundancy done and Rockwell barely provides training for it. There are other videos on RUclips but no talking…which is not helpful
@@HelloWorld-lt5oc Once again, thank you for your kind words and your support to my channel.
@@SYPHOANG I downloaded to the 2nd PLC already, as I am new to Rockwell and used to doing this process on Yokogawa. Will it create any issues for me? Do I need to factory reset the 2nd controller?
Gracias por su aporte
@Alejandro Parra: Thank you for subscribing and your support to my channel.
If you make an online change to the primary plc program will it automatically sync to the secondary plc or do you need to toggle power?
@emg1233: It's best to turn off one PLC rack. Redundancy system might automatically sync only the data values, not the logic. Thank you for your comments.
Hello. Please do you have videos on VFD powerflex ?
@Nicofish2023: Unfortunately, I am not familiar with Powerflex.
In the same redundancy config, analog input card is blinking, showing FieldPowerOff set to bit, resulting fashing green, what should be solution?
@Md Sallam Ansari: Unfortunately I have never experienced this. But I think it might be from the analog input module itself or the power issue on the IO rack. It’s either from the rack itself or the power supply of the IO rack. When your PC are online with the system, let’s check status/fault under properties of the module.
@@SYPHOANG Sir, indicating running ok status, No fault showing, also checking power supply to the module, found its ok
@Md Sallam Ansari: Unfortunately I have never experienced this. How about the other modules? Are they operational as normal? If so, you should check the properties of the analog input module in the PLC program (such as revision).

@SY P HOANG yes sir..but in a ring network rapid ring fault detected and disqualify sync. Module
@Bimal Padhan: I am not sure what you are experiencing but the secondary PLC rack always starts with disqualifying, then qualifying and sync. If you are online with both PLC racks, you can check the module status.
@SY P HOANG check module status shows physical module doesn't match module configured in project. What should be done..sir also show module identity mismatch..
@Bimal Padhan: You can change the modules in the PLC program to match with the actual modules you have on the PLC racks. However, all modules on the 2 PLC racks must be identical. Also the module firmware needs to be exactly matched between the 2 racks.
