@dmitriymartynov3965: I got the instruction pdf and the sample excel file probably from Rockwell Knowledge base center. Anyways it is just the instruction. I should have gone over the instruction in the video. However, if you just follow my video, you should be able to export the current Alarm configuration, modify it and import it back into the HMI application.

@tomasj.2651: Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, you have lost the most crucial password which is "Administration password". If you have it, you will be able to do everything on the Windows desktop of the HMI. What you have right now is only the "Desktop access password". To reset the "Administration password", you will need to "factory default" the HMI. On the back of your HMI, there should be a small button inside a round little hole. After you can locate that little hole, use the paper clip to push that little button while the HMI is powered up. Once it is pushed and released, the HMI will go to the maintenance screen. The "factory default" selection should be the second one from top on that screen. Good luck.

@joramgichane: Yes, all tags in Micro850 retain the values after the PLC is powered down. Unlike Micro810 and Micro820 PLC's, you do not need to specify which tag will retain its value. @bryanfrancisco-t7x: Firmware update usually factory reset your HMI already. You might got an error from the interruption during the firmware upgrade process. I don't think it will solve your problem but you can give it a try.

@@SYPHOANG if factory reset will not work. Then the HMI will be useless now 🥲?? Are there any options to fix?

@bryanfrancisco-t7x: Have you tried factory reset? Unfortunately, if it does not work, you might have to send it back to the factory to repair it. It happened to me once when I updated the firmware. I am not sure what triggered the interruption during the process, but there was no way to clear it out. I called in Rockwell tech support, they gave me the case number and advised me to send it back to our local distributor (where we bought it from) for a repair.

@Anandya.Javier.setyawan: The programming software "Panel Builder 32" is very old. You can try the link below from Allen Bradley website. compatibility.rockwellautomation.com/Pages/MultiProductSelector.aspx?crumb=111 Search for "PanelBuilder 32". There are 2 available versions 3.83.00 and 3.83.01. You might need to buy the activation for it. Good luck

@Anandya.Javier.setyawan: You can check "BATT" for battery and "FLT" for Fault on the PLC. There are a lot of possible causes. But normally it is either from a dead battery installed in the PLC OR a purge surge at the plant. To protect the equipment under its control, the PLC just automatically wipe out its program and kill all outputs. This is what I have seen in most cases.

@ansonkiek6471: I still don't understand what do you mean for 2k? is 2k a year? is 7/31 a date? do you have data logged into an SD card? or the HMI internal memory? if it's logged into the HMI internal memory, it might be full and stop logging.

@@SYPHOANG 2k is data store in CSV row , and I use usb store my CSV data I see my CSV file in pen drive created in 7/31 and CSV last recorded only until2/9 how possible stop due to hmi internal memory full ?

@ansonkiek6471: I guess 7/31 is July 31st and 2/9 is February 9th? You might need to check your "trigger" tag.

@ghuy6073: Thanks for your comment. I think it should come with Modbus TCP. There are a few things you might want to check. First, make sure you have the right register mapping. Second, slave ID might matter. Make sure you call out the correct slave ID on your master device. Third, be specific on the register length or count. Do not set the length too long or pick up too many registers. If the registers are not available at the device and you are trying to pick them, it might give you errors too. Good luck!!!

@mdlutforrahman4544: Are you trying to modify the existing HMI application (.mer file) on the HMI? ME TRANSFER UTILITY is a tool for you to download/upload an HMI runtime/application to/from an HMI from/to your computer. An .mer file is for an actual HMI only. If you need to work on it. You will need 2 more pieces of software. "FactoryTalk View ME Application Manager" to "restore runtime application" and "FactoryTalk View Studio ME" to work on the restored HMI application.

@sakurag55: Thank you for subscribing to my channel. Is your device from Allen Bradley? Sometimes you might have to remove the driver and re-configure it again. If you want to do it automatically, you should select "Ethernet/IP driver" under "Available driver types". After clicking "add new", make sure you select the driver that has your computer IP address on the same network with the device that you want to see in "Rslinx". Hopefully this helps.

@maicolherrera7685: "DCOM" means DEFAULT COM. Default Com is DF1. Once you change the Communication Protocol to anything but DF1, the DF1 light will be turned OFF. But what should be the communication protocol for the channel is the question for you. You can look into the other device that your PLC is connected to and find out what communication protocol and configuration it is looking for from your PLC. Hope that helps. Good luck

@maicolherrera7685: It's very simple. You pressed the button on the PLC to set the default DF1 to Channel 0, the DCOM turned ON. However channel 0 in the program you downloaded to the PLC is configured for DH485 or anything but DF1. My guess is DCOM light turned OFF after you downloaded the program to the PLC because channel 0 is now no longer set for the default DF1. You can no longer connect to the PLC because of the cable between your PLC and your computer. My guess is the cable you use is for DF1 communication protocol, it is not for the communication protocol for channel 0 in the program you downloaded to the PLC. I think that was also the reason you set the default DF1 to channel 0 on the PLC. If I was you, I would never reset channel 0 on the PLC back to DF1. My recommendation is to always find the right cable that works for the communication protocol configure in the PLC program before any downloads. @khachapatrachatamethin7484: Are you trying to download the function block "Lead _Lag_STBY_BLK.7z" and import it into your PLC project in Connected Components Workbench? If so, you need to download and import the file with ".7z" extension into your PLC project. No need to worry about other files.
