If you have moves that do one single hit or just a few hits, the boss only regenerates a bit of health. With multi hit moves like Iori's super however, you barely do any damage. It's for this reason Haohmaru is easily the best character to fight certain bosses (especially Goodman) because his standing C does a huge chunk of damage and is safe on block.

From what I know, there are three final bosses to the game. Mizuguchi is the default boss. In order to face the other bosses, u have to complete stipulations during the arcade modes to face them. One is complete 2 tag combos during the mode and the other one involves wins.
Yeah, Mizuchi is the default boss if you fail to complete the conditions for the other 3, King Leo needs 2 double assaults, I can't remember if you need to KO at least 3 opponents but make sure you defeat at least 6 for safety measures... and 1 Battle Bonus use, Neo-Dio needs 3 Battle Bonuses used and at least 4 to 6 double assaults while KO at least 6 opponents, Goodman needs you to do like 9 or more Double Assaults, KO at least 8 opponents (I always aim at 9 at minimun), NEVER use a Battle Bonus and have an overall HP of 50% or higher between your 2 characters when the time runs out (their combined health must be at least a full life-bar of a single character), by the way, for Neo-Dio and Goodman you cannot continue if you get KO'ed, for King Leo you can ONLY continue once, not sure but getting challenged also counts as a match lost, so don't do that if you have a 2nd controller or any other way to self-challenge yourself. In the Ps2 version Tag Battle mode and Xbox 360 re-release the triggers are pretty much Double Assaults based, again, Mizuchi is the default boss after the 6th battle, but for the rest, King Leo about 2 or 3 double assaults, Neo-Dio around 6 and Goodman over 9 while also NEVER getting one character KO'ed during matches (however, this condition sometimes will lock you and other times it doesn't) and NEVER win by time over (heck, winning a single fight by time locks you to Mizuchi at the end, same if you use a continue if you lose a match before completing the 6th stage)
I want to see a hard play through of Million Arthur Arcana Blood. It's a pretty cool, gorgeous, 2D fighter, and has some pretty sweet over the top super moves. You can pick 3 assist characters as well. With the games you play I think it'd be a shame if you miss out on this one.
There's nio dio ,Goodman, orochi and king lion ,Goodman can be reached by simply beating everyone and not losing ,every other boss has special conditions to meet them ,I always play with full super meter because I'm not about to retry fighting bosses that regenerate and are cheap lol
I gotta say I appreciate fact that you don't reuse the same intro or outtro for your videos not sure if you did in the past but its the little things that matter. Great video! P.S. different genre but when they gonna #freegoldeneye thooo
Well, you have 2 of 4 bosses down now, Neo-Dio is the easiest of the bunch if you ask me, also, it's King LEO (not King Lion), and speaking of this boss, you should play both Savage Reign and Kizuna Encounter.
@@bloody4558 the janky controls and gameplay, the terrible controls, the boring gameplay. It's bad like aof 1 and 2. Give me 1 thing you like about the game from a gameplay perspective. Kizuna encounter is actually a good game. Savage reign sucks big time. The big sprites fooled me back in the day like the aof sprites did, game was ass.
The arcade were I was used to play it years ago got lucky, but of course, the challenge was more to try to reach (and beat) Goodman, and aside of the Arcade operator, I was pretty much the only one who could consistently make Goodman the boss to defeat, however as long as Justin doesn't use Haohmaru or Genjuro to cheese him out, the fight could be interesting to see how much frustration will end up taking to him to win the battle (as a time over is hardly a viable option to win his fight due to him spaming his moves like crazy). As for myself back then, Mizuchi wasn't easy but not too hard, King Leo was my bane of existence (yes, even MORE than Goodman himself), Goodman was a crazy fest but I was able to somewhat beat him consistently without Haohmaru and Genjuro and Neo-Dio... of the 4 bosses he was the easiest.
King Lion was already an absolute asshole in Kizuna Encounter. Not the mention the secret boss in that game. To this day I'm traumatized by "dynamite" and "earth chopper". Damn... 🤣
Yeah, King Leo was a pain in Savage Reign, in Kizuna Encounter despite being the sub-boss was also a pain to deal with, however in NGBC... yeah, is actually a boss that you shouldn't use proyectiles and force him to go to the ofensive sometimes just to dodge his grabs so you can do a combo or two, rise and repeat pretty much, also characters with command grab have an easier time to deal damage to King Leo.
I always hated this FU****NG boss, he seems to read your mind as if he were Akuma, he exceeds the maximum difficulty of an average SNK fighting game (at least the modern ones from 2000 on), I really don't know what they thought when developing that Difficulty for this boss.
Yep. I lived that frustration of trying to beat him. I still think it's the most difficult boss in the game. The only way is to cheese and lame him out.
Rewatching this... if you have the Ps2 version and a Codebreaker (or equivalent) you can make things a living hell with the following, let the AI side have unlimited super bar, max defense level (8), put yourself at Lv.1 defense, and use the Codebreaker code to have unlimited time (because of this code, the only way you can beat the game is to play in Tag Battle mode... which is the Xbox 360 "story" mode) and of course, Lv7. dififculty, all I can say is that the bosses WILL take advantage of the Super Bar not getting empty after they use their DM's (I got trolled by Mizuchi and his full screen DM like 20 times when I tried this stupid experiment), it doesn't help that the Lv.1 defense makes you fall like a fly against most of the roster attacks like the slash DM from Kaede and of couse, pretty much anything the bosses does, I might actually do a serious try with that and record those as well.

Silent Storm!!!Dynamite!!!King Straight!!!King Upper!!!😂😂😂
He’s an animal!!! Nothing wrong with winning by time over 🤣🤣🤣 love it!
Timer's just another tool, can't hate the man for using it 😀
There's nio dio ,Goodman, orochi and king lion ,Goodman can be reached by simply beating everyone and not losing ,every other boss has special conditions to meet them ,I always play with full super meter because I'm not about to retry fighting bosses that regenerate and are cheap lol
Now I want this guy in KOF 15, he has some swag.
I gotta say I appreciate fact that you don't reuse the same intro or outtro for your videos not sure if you did in the past but its the little things that matter. Great video!
P.S. different genre but when they gonna #freegoldeneye thooo
If even Justin Wong has a problem with your boss, then it is unacceptably broken
Well, you have 2 of 4 bosses down now, Neo-Dio is the easiest of the bunch if you ask me, also, it's King LEO (not King Lion), and speaking of this boss, you should play both Savage Reign and Kizuna Encounter.
Savage reign sucks. I remember asking myself why I bought back when it came out.
@@makavelimusolini1036 I greatly disagree, but Kizuna Encounter is still much, much better anyway.
@@makavelimusolini1036 Lol, people still like the slow mess that was SF2, your comment holds less weight than you think
@@bloody4558 ur stupid, bad fighters were around back then, never said sf2 was one of them. Go reach some more.
This guy has Wolverines healing factor 😂
Imagine how many arcade machines were trashed because of King Lion
Poor buttons
King Leo
Jyazu is not a secret boss, he's the final boss you face after King Leo. King Leo is the final boss in Savage Reign tho
I found him harder than the actual boss lol
People really do be like "That's lame". Nah, that's smart to time out or loop an SNK input reading boss.
Easily the best looking boss and awesome moveset with great music and stage.....
Iori have OTG fireball and the unblockable SDM, try this next!
Justin Wong just compared himself to Mayweather. LETS GOOOOOO!
JW: "The REAL final boss king lion!"
Goodman: "Lmao nah"
I always hated this FU****NG boss, he seems to read your mind as if he were Akuma, he exceeds the maximum difficulty of an average SNK fighting game (at least the modern ones from 2000 on), I really don't know what they thought when developing that Difficulty for this boss.
@9:45 Iori says what's up.
Yep. I lived that frustration of trying to beat him. I still think it's the most difficult boss in the game. The only way is to cheese and lame him out.
9:04 LMAO that shit was so active.
Oo another NGBC arcade playthrough😃.Still waitn on that KOF 2001 and 11 playthrough
I don’t understand how characters like this don’t get a playable version. He’ll I’d take a understudy or something.. dude looks fun af
He is playable, all the bosses in NGBC are playable. He's definitely the most fun one to me.
@@orlanzo2621 well I’d like to see him integrated into the KOF series
Thanks for beating all the bosses I can’t
That boss has Black Air Force energy lol
I love when you play these classic games. 🔥🔥🔥
Watching Wong rage is entertaining knowing how incredibly skilled he is 😅😅😅
Rewatching this... if you have the Ps2 version and a Codebreaker (or equivalent) you can make things a living hell with the following, let the AI side have unlimited super bar, max defense level (8), put yourself at Lv.1 defense, and use the Codebreaker code to have unlimited time (because of this code, the only way you can beat the game is to play in Tag Battle mode... which is the Xbox 360 "story" mode) and of course, Lv7. dififculty, all I can say is that the bosses WILL take advantage of the Super Bar not getting empty after they use their DM's (I got trolled by Mizuchi and his full screen DM like 20 times when I tried this stupid experiment), it doesn't help that the Lv.1 defense makes you fall like a fly against most of the roster attacks like the slash DM from Kaede and of couse, pretty much anything the bosses does, I might actually do a serious try with that and record those as well.
That boss is ridiculous
Mizuchi is made to spam projectiles, Neo Dio to rushdown, and King Lion to counter everything.
What about goodman
@@NovaPrime-91 He has a familiar that defends him even when he leaves himself wide open
@@PAKA62 Yeah i fought him several times it years ago though id be rusty ass hell now
"This is why I said, prior
this is clearly you're best content!" #LetsGochamp!💯
Just two more bosses to go.
Goodman at lvl 8 and im sub for every account of justin for sure !!!
I could see a public freak out at an arcade over this boss for real
Great vid man! I feel you and I was laughing hard watching that bs.
Good to see more ngbc, arguably the best sequel to svc chaos
That red health recovery is some next level snk shit
@10:52 Watching his life bar after that, I would have rage quit.
