And look, people love to hate and it can even be cathartic so long as you don't let it consume you. But most of the people on today's list let their animosity get the better of them. Here are the spiciest feuds in esports.

Dota vs League is by far the spiciest feuds across all esports. Most Dota players will say that LOL is the easy mode of their game (which is kinda true) and LOL players will always say Dota is a dead game (which is also kinda true. They just hate each other's playerbase AND I love that banter between them because at the end of the day, BOTH are toxic af.
Most LoL players honestly won't give a shit. It isn't a competition and hasn't been for near a decade.

For the CS and Val debate, as someone who plays both regularly, they're both very good. CS is the OG that never ages and never needs to change, but Val gives the classic shooter a twist by bringing in new unique maps and agents with new abilities keeping the game fresh and exciting.

I play CS for practicing aim/nostalgia while also goofing off, while I hop on Val for agent practice, building weird team comps and goof off in a different way. Both are very good but it mainly depends on the mood. Pissed off, hop on CS and awp/auto enemy team on Dust2. Bored, hop on valor ant with raze and her ult

CS is too good of a game. Imho, the best (tactical shooter) game ever. Hasn't gotten boring even after 20 years.
Facts been playing since 99 and I played valorant the first few months of release and I wasn't a fan. CSGO is just too good.
It was never fun to play when only dust 2 and fucking mirage match making in other maps takes ages yeah but it's fun when find matches but until they remove map selection I am not playing it again
It's a bit repetitive but yeah the core aspects of gameplay are just amazing and this is coming from a valortard
@@sandipsingharoy9737 Ofc you don't get games on other maps on Indian servers. Go increase your max ping and queue on sgp(~50ms) for other maps, it doesn't take long.
What CSGO needs is valorant's vanguard. And it'd become the best game ever. Here in Asia we get a waller every 2 games. They're really good at hiding it so you'll have to review your replay to spot one if they're on the enemy team but there's always a waller. Which really killed CSGO for me. Valorant has its charms but CSGO is just better. IDK nor can I say why but CSGO just feels better.
The ending one was good plus sad as well, but i love these revenge stories 😂
That fly v notail drama is the most exhilarating thing that happened in dota 2 pro scene history and i doubt we’re gonna get anything of similar level in the future.

Ive played both but mostly valorant now since most of my friend only play it now (almost all of my csgo friends already too old and working lol), well valorant is fun and the esports scene is also good because of the diversity and how so many underdogs like prx, zeta and drx can go really far in a competition. But man nothing can beat cs. The game itself is really good and now that valve starting to care abd make changes in csgo, im excited for the game next years. And of course the tradition and culture in its esports scene is arguably the best across all esports. Valorant vct still miles behind any iem and blast event let alone the major in term of production, atmosphere and hype. Theres a reason why cs is still big after 22 years because those that already dive deep into it cant really forget the feelings of playing and watching it

@@z3r0_80 I wouldn't call a game that the devs don't care about being in a better spot than a game that for better or for worse has active development going on, if valve cared about cs, it would have a team combatting toxicity, it doesn't, I can call anyone anything I want in all chat without the fear of getting banned from days to months to years, updates would be more frequent etc. I'd say valve cares less about cs than respawn and ea put together care about the state of apex, and that's saying something imo

Check cs go views on twitch when na'vi isn't playing kekw. There's literally 0 community engagement in csgo ranked, cs fans only show themshelves when they get a break from their job to watch the esport scene (which is also getting carried by brazilians and russians btw).

Even if Valorant doesn't beat CS in terms of eSports or anything, I don't care. I enjoy playing it and that matters the most to me.
Fighting over each other won't give you anything. The companies won't send you a paycheck for your impressive performance on showing, why one is better than the other. Just play whichever game you enjoy the most.
But I certainly want both companies to compete with each other to bring better and better games for us. Competition is from what we benefit from.

@@randomno1030 League pretty much killed the Dota 2 Chinese scene. Its now the lowest server of any region. Most pros play on SEA servers now.
@@randomno1030 one riot dev who managed and has access to dota forum (because he was working on dota before he worked for riot) shut down/lock the forum, which was at the time the biggest forum for dota. The site become an ad for LOL and redirect visitor to LOL instead.
That was devastating because then people can't download newest dota version without the forum, so a lot of people can't play. The forum also had a lot of champions/heroes ideas, which dota players can't access anymore.
More or less that's what happened from what I remember. Thus dota players hate not lol players but lol/riot.

I used to like the idea of valorant. But man im to much of a boomer to keep up with new agents all the time. Same thing with LoL. Sometime, it's just too much. Maybe when you only play Valorant it's fine. But I have other games to play, it's not like I want to be a pro player and dedicate all my time on one game. What I also dislike is the fact that some agent becomes irrelevant or that if you pick some agent you can't use the OP or you get flamed. It is so obnoxious! it's in my buy menu and I can't use it because of some dumbass agent meta? I checked out.
@@apparentlyihavenoprivacy5877 tbh, the toxic image you've heard and saw online is mostly because of NA. NA is the worst and most toxic server in all games being followed by Brazil and SEA. The other 2 servers is also a toxic wasteland, but its not as bad as NA.

Can’t blame anyone for not being scared of Astralis compared to their God lineup but still…
Though hard to call it a rivalry when Astralis beat them almost every chance they got. They literally went 13-1 in 2018 against Liquid with the one loss being a bo1 in London that they avenged in the semi finals.

I don't know why, but I feel like thescore's content is either being recycled or is just dropping in quality of interest and variety. The need to force a video is beyond my own reasoning and it's somehow unexplainable. Yes, they do tackle A LOT of the news coming out and obviously recap all the events happening in the competitive scene, but some certain videos are not particularly needed or even requested by fans or watchers. It somehow feels like there is a contract that is binding those content creators to release a video or two daily, no matter how dead the current scene is. For instance, this video is somehow relevant to recent events that took place on the competitive stage, but that was already tackled in another video that they themselves published recently. I'm not trying to be a buzzkill or direct negativity to the creators, I just don't feel like a subscription is in order, cause none of their content is "original" anymore. I know my sub won't do a slight dent in their outstanding 1.99M subs, but I would rather sub to a creator with honest and original videos, rather than recycled old material with a new flashy title to milk the youtube ad revenue. I find it kind of sad in a way, since this channel was the only way I could get up-to-date with the competitive scene/new releases after a long week of work and studying, but now most of the videos are way longer than they should be, with information being delivered as slow as possible to elongate the minutes and force more ads to roll.

cs vs val isnt a debate at this point.... csgo is way better and its showed in the fact its still #1 on steam charts and is a top 3 esport in terms of viewership behind only dota and league. Val will ALWAYS be behind with no workshop/community support.

as an example-personally, as someone who _should_ enjoy Valorant 'cause it targets with my demographic-i definitely prefer CS:GO over Val lol
not shitting on Valorant here tho, 'cause the game _is_ good and enjoyable to play, along with:
- containing a younger demographic
- a change of pace due to its operators, which can bring different/new outcomes in its gameplay loop
- aesthetically pleasing art direction/visuals
- "feels fresh"
- other positive things that i honestly can't think of to list/too lazy to list
i just happen to prefer CS:GO 'cause it:
- requires a greater amount of mechanical skill/aim compared to Valorant
- feels responsive/smooth, compared to Valorant which feels a bit clunky/laggy despite having similar ping/framerate
- has a higher/steeper learning curve
- has a greater, if not, noticeably present competitive edge
- (to me) feels satisfying to get kills, especially headshots.
once again, Valorant isn't bad or anything. i just happen to enjoy CS:GO more 'cause it ticks all the boxes for what i personally like in a tactical FPS game-nor do i think it's "copying" CS:GO either. just as how i see COD MWII's DMZ mode as the casual/"arcade-like" second cousin of Tarkov, where it takes some elements from the latter-Valorant takes some notable elements from CS:GO but provides the added twist of "Heroes" from Overwatch; both games derive/build on the "bomb defusal" scenario, but they have different ways and means of approaching it.

Valorant is fun and all but csgo is just too good. Valorant is just small and compact with just shooting but in CSGO you can play surfing, bhop , play random mode in different services and my favourite HNS. New kids of valorant will never know the feeling of jumping around building in HNS TYO and Nova

Real reason:
As someone who views Quake Live as the most competitive FPS, I personally don't wanna fight against abilities. I wanna lose just because I'm the worse player given the exact same chess pieces (or in the case of CS, almost the exact same), not because my teammate died and now no one can fill their role therefore reinforcing the teammate factor of losing a game. In CSGO, I'm able to purchase any utility I want and adapt my playstyle accordingly to how the game plays out and I also could have the potential to make up for a teammate that's just contributing nothing. Valorant locks me with the same set of utility for an entire match, and as a human being I can't be 100% consistent in the role I am most confident in but I am not allowed to fall-back to a different role that I may fill better while my other teammates could take over. I like to compare both games to actual sports and in my eyes, CSGO is much closer to an actual sport than Valorant and that is why I heavily prefer CSGO.
I do agree that Valorant does a lot of things good. A really good anticheat, 128tick servers, better matchmaking without the help of third-party clients. It's probably a sign for Valve to step the fuck up. But the design of the game just isn't for me. I cannot stand abilities such as flashes that go through walls with barely any warning, stuns that you can't get away from because you got unlucky due to a perfect setup, and a design that leads to losses because one teammate just can't do their job right for that match and that is why I can't view Valorant (or even Overwatch for that matter) in a competitive light. Call me a stubborn boomer but hey, to each their own.

CS is alive not just because it's a fun game, it's a whole ecosystem, there's trading, community servers, competitive services, usual matchmaking for fun, gambling, workshop, esports. Maybe lacks a bit in big content creators. But in reality I hate watching streams of both, much better to play it yourself.
There won't be a game like it because CS is not just the game itself.

Also, since agents like chamber and jett exists, you can play risky because you have a free out of jail card if you miss a shot.
All the while CSGO traders earn thousands of dollars right now and Valorant players smile sadly with their skins just being plain aesthetics.

Honestly though, TI kinda sucked this year, no real good runs or story lines. Though I suppose its unfair, we had OG back to back wins with TI8 probably being the best of all time. TS 's win last year alone was amazing. TI11 is just so mid by comparison.
That being said, would not mind some dota content once in a while from this channel.

What the hell do you mean there were no good story lines, were we watching the same tournament??? RNG took Entity to a 100+ minute elimination game when all of RNG minus xNova got quarantined, Thunder Awaken came out of nowhere to embarrass a dramatically underachieving EG squad and nearly upended Liquid in a banger series to put South America on the map, PSG.LGD choked against Aster, Matumbaman went on one last great run to cap off his career, and Secret and Liquid made it to the final 3 despite both of them going through the last chance qualifiers. How are none of those great storylines?
Csgo has barely changed in the past decade and it still is one of the best games ever. Valorant is an entirely different game now than when it launched, and neither version or anything in between is better than csgo. Tells u everything u need to know

I wish people would stop comparing CS and Valorant the way that they are doing. Mechanically Valorant is closer to that of OW gameplay. It's literally just OW put into a CS defusal mode setting.

@@cl00oob29 it just doesnt work imo, its more like a casual game, why? relatively new, Meta still doesnt exist, alot of huge updates, new agents, teams are still developing defaults, all in all not consistent for balanced pro plays.
