Built this as a teenager along with most of the cars by Tamiya. I also would see them race at the British GP. Those were the days big tyres and V8 engines singing as they went past you.
Cool. I look forward to the sequel.
Nice work Peter have fun 👍👍
Thank you, I will
That red tank is indeed a fire extinguisher. Those suspension arms are called wishbones, for obvious reasons, and the black pieces on the cockpit sides are pads so the driver doesn't get too beat up going through corners.
Hi Pete, this will be a great build, and it won't take as long as the bus, good luck with this project, best regards from a Kiwi living in Melbourne
Fingers crossed!
Ah, a human building my next model project. Refreshing watching the inconsistencies and the way you overcome them. I’ve just finished the Tamiya Renault R20….a struggle to say the least, but I’m inspired by your methods.
Renault R20, nice 👌 cheers ✌️
Do love the older race cars, todays all seem basically the same. cars with 6 wheels, cars with fans on the back, skirts etc. looking forward to this one
Looking forward to this build since I have this model!
Enjoying it so far 🙏
Nice video but in my opinion ther's something wrong with the frame rate of the video that make me unconfortable.
Yes I will try to fix that in future.
Nice work mate
👍nice kit 👍
Hi Peter, you made some great progress on your Brabham build. What do you think of Mr. Color paints. I really like their lacquers. The new mic sounds great. There is something going on with the frame rate. The motion was not very smooth. Kind of like it was processed at a really low frame rate. YT says it was at HD quality, but I doubt it was 30 frames a second. I'm sure it;s just a setting that needs sorted. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
I was filming at 60 frames a second and just realized it was jittery. I have set camera to 30 frames and it should be better in future.... I like the Mr Hobby and I am very happy with the mic... I will sort out the quality over the next couple videos :)
