I am enjoying your channel. I bought a 2012 F-150 Lariat 5.0 in 2019. In 2020, I took it to Brake Check to have the rotors resurfaced and new brake pads put on. I don’t drive much or far, but I do live in Houston, Texas, and it’s hot. Recently, I noticed when I am backing up and my foot is on the brake, I hear a squeaking noise, especially in the morning. What can I do to get rid of the noise? I am not a fan of Brake Check.
I just replaced my brake pads and rotors and now I have a sqweek what can I do the car is stoping just fine the sqweek is there when the brakes are not even being applied

I just wanted to see if anyone has heard of this... Jaguar back brakes squeak in reverse but stop if you add isopropyl alcohol to the gas tank. It sounds weird, but it works, and I don't know how.
I have a break squeek at low speeds coming to a stop, but not on high speed slow downs on the highway. The rotors and pads have a lot of meat and potatoes left on them. They were working good till I took the car in to the dealership for a hood latch sensor and after leaving the dealership service department the break problem started. Any ideas?
My latest model (2017) Volvo xc90 has suddenly started making a grinding noise every time I press the brakes (right front wheel). It was fine couple of days ago. It went to the wash yesterday, since then I started noticing the noise. Not sure if it is wet brake or something else?

My brakes on my 2002 Cadillac deville just started squeaking and my 2011 ford escape needs rotors and just started making a grinding noise plus the actuator in the throttle body is stocking open, then sticking closed. That has made my little wrench light on the dash come on then it died driving down the street! Which one should I get fixed first? The ford? Please help. I'm a single woman and don't know that much but I do my best to research the problem before I take it for repairs. Thanks again for your video.
Depending on your current financial situation - it sounds like the Cadillac may be your best bet . Don’t stress and go with what works best for you - good luck - always at the garage if your not sure - call us anytime

Nice video man. So check this out, I had brand new rotors and semi metallic pads, there was so much squeaking noise, so I replaced the pads with ceramic. The squeaking noises didn’t go away. Well, I got new rotors and use the ceramic pads, same crap- the squeaking noise is there but little less. What do you advised ??? I replaced two complete sets This is too much. I have a 2015 optima sxl turbo. Let me know please. Thanks
Frustrating no doubt ~ make absolutely certain there isn’t an issue with brake pad mounting hardware ~ that all is seated properly ~ call us at the garage if we can help further ~ try and walk you through over the phone. Good luck here !

Hey frank, thanks for the video...replaced all my rotors and pads on my first brake job, i used all new pad hardware and am running wagner ceramic pads, i did buy the platinum carquest rotors from a national chain store...i put anti seize on the back of the shims and for some reason i get a squeal around 25 mph during regular breaking pressure, should i try a anti squeal product other then the silver anti seize? Thanks for the response

kingchrisp198432 it’s a combination of metal and ceramic. The ceramic is best for heat and metal is best for stopping power. With semi you have a combination of both. But might have some noise vs the pure ceramic.

my front right brake is making a loud asss squeal. only when hot, no pulse in pedal, thick pads. and only with a certain light amount of brake force. harder force makes it go away, sometimes you'll head the squeak pulse
Duuudddeee. My brake pads are fine yet theyre squeaking extremely bad man. Its so fucking annoying and I get eyed and mean look 😂😂 how do I get rid of the squeak man. Help me out. Could it be rust?? Or dust? How and what should I use for that. I've never changed brake pads myself cus of not having the right tools.

1:08 brake squeal has nothing to do with the edge of the pads. Cheap pads have cheap shims. They will flatten out and the pads will squeal.

Brake dusting can certainly create annoying squeaks ~ clean wheels to help isolate noise if you can ~ good luck !

I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla Le the back brake is a drum set every time I pay someone to do it always squeaking
I never had an initial reverse squeel until I used centric premium rotors.

Before I changed my brakes, they squeak, then i changed them, but still squeak. Any advice? I drive a lexus HS250H.

I thought semi metallic works best with heat, that semi metallic has the best stopping power??

Perhaps fighting some brake dust ~ clean wheels ( when cold and not after running vehicle) ~ see if that helps

I would start there ~ clean wheels and if that remedies ~ brake dusting more than likely the cause ~ otherwise double check pad mounting hardware
