    After watching you and Manon, I realized the huge difference between an Ultra-endurance rider and a Track cyclist. Even your mental toughness is beyond comparison. You made this look like a walk in the park. Well done Sharry!

      I think the biggest difference is the mental toughness of the bikepacker/ultra endurance rider, as opposed to the day racer.

      The best women road riders of all time have been track riders and are as tough as you get: Marianne Vos, Jeannie Longo, Leontien van Moorsel, etc.

      Sidenote that Manon was not really fit to race with some physical issues before the race.

      FYI: All track endurance cyclists ride road. For example, the current general classification and points classification leaders of the Giro d'Italia are both Olympic gold medallists on the track.

    Manon from GCN just did the UCI gravel qualifier in denmark, and the beach section made her call it quits. It looked miserable, can't wait to see how you held up!

    So great to see you bruteforcing through. just watched GCN, where the Manon girl showed up showcasing her fine equipment, moaning, quittting and telling it sucked. Weird how a couple of the GCN presenters think moaning and disatisfaction is the way to go.
    GCN could learn alot from watching you, you're awesome :D

      To be fair, Manon wasn’t really fit with health issues and it was pretty clear that it was a sponsored ride so she had to showcase the bike…

    Gravel race is to cycling what trail runs are to road running. Brutal. I really dislike beach segments on any trail run for obvious reasons. Doing it on the bike must have been really tough. Incredible performance. Well done 👏

    Oh my dear, with sandy condition it is really the wrong setup. More is even better with sand, i don't know what your new frame can use, but 40mm is the minimum! The Aspero would have been the better bike for the day! But you made it, taff like ever- like always! And a awesome time! Gratulation! 👏
