  • References allow you to define new geometry in relation to existing geometry, but missing and broken references reduce a model’s stability. Learn how to repair missing sketch references with the Edit Sketch Plane command. Discover how to use the Display/Delete Relations command to remove broken references in sketch entities.

You should do a full in-depth video about this. It's one of the most important things for an engineer to always have fully defined sketches with existing references.

I think you could have covered it in much more detail. You should do one on how to be a sleuth and fix broken assemblies.

This doesn't teach you how to repair the references, only how to remove them.
Why wouldn't you show the "replace" reference function while you were in there to relink the broken references?
This is also a function that I feel could be easily automated in solidworks. I just wish I had more time to spend in the API to make it happen.

Hi there, we are so sorry for the experience. The place to start for direct support would be our User Forum. We have a team of experts in technical aspects of the software. We can also direct you to our support form: www.3ds.com/online-store/support-form/

I've found 3rd party forums to be more useful and less cumbersome. SolidWorks used to have a great forum, but they nuked it with the 3DS integration.
