Some bought Obi Wan merchandise, some bought Qui Gon merchandise but that was about it. Some young kids bought Jar Jar Binks but he wasn't that popular as Darth Maul

His face was on everything - I even had an inflatable chair lol People act like Binks was universally hated, but kids loved him and he's still funny in small doses. Episode I doesn't deserve the hate it gets - its FAR better than the Sequels.
