Hi Grace! Thanks for watching🙏 and getting extra hungry watching my Kimchi Fried Rice😋. Here is the written Kimchi Fried Rice recipe www.modernpepper.com/post/kimchi-fried-rice-egg
"From your lips to God's ears" is "Dieses Wort in Gottes Gehoergang" in German. Did you pick that up in NYC?! I love it that you seem to be perfectly bilingual! You're an inspiration!
Hi 👋 @M Taka 🙏THANK YOU🙏THANK YOU 🙏 BiBimBap is one of my favorites, too😋. Here is my BiBimBap & Dolsot (hot stone bowl) BiBimBap video recipe ruclips.net/video/-z0pfvUcGNU/видео.html It is one of my earlier videos so, I was very new to editing😉. Thank you for watching🙏. And pls keep your comments coming😊.
WOW Helen!! 😋🤩This is one of those surprisingly delicious dishes that looks special due to presentation but is very simple and CHEAP to make. I cannot believe I missed this upload 4 years ago, how on Earth did THAT happen? I'm a vintage superfan of yours so I mysteriously missed out back then. I'm now going to make this dish exactly as you did because I know it will taste ten times better than my version. Hope you're doing well. Look at that subscriber count! What did I tell ya?🌟👍😃
I get so hungry watching you taste your creations! You really savor the food, and it's contagious (in a good way)! What kinds of oils do they use in Korea? And what is different about the rice? I am thrilled to find your channel!
Hi @Grover Martin. 🙏Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏 I love hearing that I make you HUNGRY FOR KOREAN FOOD...YAY👍👍👍 As for oils, all kinds of oils are used, just like here in the states BUT there are specific Korean oils that are unique to Korean cuisines. One of which is Sesame Oil (ChamGheeReum 참기름). It used mainly for dressing, and not for cooking with. It has a low threshold for heat and will burn super fast, and then end up tasting pretty not so great. Please Google nutritional value of Sesame Oil. As for Korean rice grains, here are two videos/webpages that I go into detail which should give you a good overview. Healthy Vegetable Rice Bowl (1 Pot Vegan Meal 건강식 영양밥): Soybean Sprouts Bibimbap (콩나물밥) ruclips.net/video/BNOV3KFpRmI/видео.html Written Recipe Blog Page www.modernpepper.com/post/soybean-sprouts-rice KOREAN RICE 101: How To Cook Korean Rice Tutorial (Bap: 밥짓기) Multigrain Rice (Japgokbap: 잡곡밥) ruclips.net/video/H3JAG3QyXDE/видео.html Written Recipe Blog Page www.modernpepper.com/post/koreanrice Please LMK if you have any questions! Looking forward to cooking with you LOTS 🙏🙏🙏 Helen

I still remember the first time I watched your video , I wrote a stupid comment because I was in bad mood that time hhh but you answered me kindly , I felt guilty, then I asked for pardon , from that time I keep watching your videos with love, learning cooking, eng and korean from you 새해 복 많이 받으세요!!!

Great video. Love watching you. I ordered the Dasida after you suggested it. I have used it twice and definitely can tell it up'ed the taste. Even if there is the na-sayers. Lol thank you for the tip.
Hi 👋 @Jenny Jarrett. Aww...🥰. 🙏THANK YOU 🙏. I know, a little bit of Dashida goes a long way😎. I say, we cut out using refined-sugar when I cook (most of the time), so....😉
I made this for lunch and it was fun to make and wow to table ! Thank you, chef 👩🏻🍳 Helen ! It is like a soufflé and the rice bottom was delicious because the crackling happened as I cooked the egg mote! 😂
👋 Betty Pang. Yes, this is fun dish to make and WOW everyone at the table. Most have never had Kimchi Fried Rice with this fluffy egg moat🤗. Thanks again for cooking Korean food with me 😘
Hi👋@Kaya Kim Hot-dogs are always a good additions to Kimchi Fried Rice👍 Glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself🤗. Here is my Kimchi Pancakes video, if you have not seen it yet: ruclips.net/video/_KpdZfD7et4/видео.html Always good to have extra fermented Kimchi in hand, especially during this lockdown😎 And another Lockdown-Friendly recipe: Soybean Sprouts Rice ruclips.net/video/BNOV3KFpRmI/видео.html Thanks for watching🙏 Stay safe and healthy 🙏😊🙏
Hi 👋 @Tiffiny Camille If u r looking for a salty & meaty vegetable substitution for the ham, I would add mushroom BulGoGi (sautée until golden-brown, separately in a pan and add at the same time as the rice). Mushroom BulGoGi video is below. OR the simple option is to make without the ham since the kimchi will give u that crunchy, salty & ‘meaty’ bite. Hope this helps. Pls lmk if u have other questions😊 BulGoGi Recipe: 🥩, 🍗, 🐷 & 🍄 ruclips.net/video/VuXE5FsZUyE/видео.html Thanks for watching🙏

Hi 👋 @Saadat Tadaas I just love the taste of olive oil, especially extra virgin olive oil. I fell in love with cooking with olive oil when I was visiting 🇮🇹 Italy. And of course, because of its loaded health benefits😉 (Google health benefits of olive oil.). BUT this is a personal preference so please feel free to use your preference of oil when making my recipes (EXCEPT for sesame oil which has a very low threshold for heat and will burn quickly, making the oil taste ‘bad.’ Ideally, sesame oil is best for use as a dressing oil).
@@ModernPepper Oh, I see. Yeah, I know about the benefits, but it has also low heat capacity, plus, I think it is altering the taste of the dish. That's why I was wondering. :)
Saadat Tadaas Yes, it is definitely not for deep frying but for pan sautéing, I think it is great. Yes, if u don’t like the taste of olive oil, pls use ur oil of preference😊
i don’t know why i watch food vids when i’m starving honestly i’m going to make this !!!
