We had lots of rain here in Monterrey, Mexico and the results was a bike completely coated in mud. Watch ad see how I get this beast looking fresh again. Too true! Left my KTM dirty a few times and the engine's stained in a few places. Not the whole world but it bothers me when I wash it.

Took the name “dirt bike” to a new level
Spray it down with some Pam cooking spray after it's clean and dry . Let it sit for about 20min and wipe it back down and the dirt won't stick as easily . It leaves a nice shine.

I have a 18 crf 250r. I always take the bottom skid plate off too to make sure I get it all. Those skid plate are awesome they do keep 90 % OF the mud out . Nice bike!!! #ridered

I took mine through a mud hole once. It took me 3 days to clean it out afterwards.
Me and my friends went on a trail ride, they ride atvs and I ride a dirt bike. Well, the dude I was following really likes mud. It was a very muddy ride lmao. I think it rained like 2 days, then there was a dry day, then there was the day we went. So it was pretty wet. It was great!

I have the foam that you apply to the mud, soil etc. you leave about 5-6 minutes and pass the hose under pressure and removes dirt
I just like, spray everything with water so it turns back into mud instead of dry dirt, and then once its soaked a bit I go back through with the hose and wash everything off.

FULL THROTTLE FILMZ i love getting my bike all muddy but i hate washing it some times simple fact because i dont have a power washer and it takes way longer to wash
without a power washer is suicide! this ryobi 1600psi is pretty cheap and being electric it is super easy 0 maintenance.
Just a Suggestion..
I think it will be more convenient if you will wet the bike first entirely leave it for 5 to 10 min let the mud soften then rinse it after...
Rather than keep on spraying water in just one go to remove the hardened mud..

I just bought a dirt bike 2013 Honda 250r. I noticed you didn't take the seat off and you didn't take the air filter off and use a air box cover. Is it needed? Beginner questions.
Jeremy Gardner i had just bought this bike when i made the video and did not have an airbox cover. I would recommend you take the filter off and use a cover 👍🏼. Btw great bike you bought!

Nice tip, i never thought about washing my motorcycle in the grass. Usually after washing i sprayed the remaining dirt on the floor and waste a lot of water.
Any methods for drying your boots out after a deep wash? A boot dryer?
Nicholas Hamilton I have always just flipped them upside down to dry and then just air dry for 2-4 days before I use them again. I have 2 pairs of boots tho.

would recommend that if it’s that muddy and if it’s dried out, to just use your hands or a brush to get most of the excess off it so your not just blasting a pressure washer on it for ages
H2O Edits yeh very true. It dried overnight I should have soaked the bike first to loosen up the mud

I don't spray any oil on the engine no. Power washer just does an amazing job

Mf 6290 i just let them air dry outside in the heat for 2-3 days and they dry out fine

You shouldn't power wash a motorcycle - you'll blow water past the seals.
Truck wash - time - then rinse with low pressure is key.
Robin Banks only thing is I’ve been doing this for over 10 years with no issues... just don’t spray closer than 8-12 inches away from delicate areas.

Do you plug your air box when pressure washing? Just asking as I’ve seen some people do it and others not and am not really sure if it’s necessary
Better if you do, but no problem if u don't. Just don't spray directly into the airbox holes

This bike does not have a carb it is fuel injected.

No just don’t spray directly at electronics. A quick rinse off is fine

However it was a klx110 but it has been covered in mud for years, it was all caked on there
that's why you should immediately rinse the mud off with water when the mud is still wet right before they start to dry out

Spray bike first, let water soak to reconstitute the mud. Clean boots, spray bike again, let soak. Etc... quicker and less water use.
