Just bought a 2003 Pearl White - Avaitor with 115k and LOVE It! (( It's Gorgeous! )) I traded in my summer only Sebring Convertible. Had a chance to go with a small BMW - SUV....and the "Avaitor " actually drove better :)

Just an FYI. You said it has a 4-speed auto transmission but it is actually a 5-speed. Just a friendly point out from an owner one very similar to this one. Have a good day!

@@emperorpalpatine1574 I feel like they look like a car for backroads and the aviator is a city car...idk my opinion

Levis Amaya Lol I look the look of all 3 of the bunch I was just being a dick. All the same car just rebadged. Ford Explorer looks like the most rigid of the bunch and the mountaineer and aviatior look like city cars

Freddy Medina I owned one it drove awesome till my coils went out lol I drove on four cylinders for a couple months after replacing it drove amazing once again. Don't have it anymore because of terrible gas mileage in the winter I would get 10.5 and summer 13.1. Also, my differential went out so AWD wouldn't engage it would try but just made a pop sound. It had 130k and a lot of stuff was falling apart with mine. Rust parts by one door side and on the left driver side by the running boards connection. Also, the top rear tailgate cracked ended up losing the metal preventing proper closing. Radio volume control had to be turned ultra slow to go down otherwise it would cause the music to become louder if done too fast still don't know how that even happens. The stock subwoofer in the back started making a crackling sound. Heated seat on drivers side would engage sometimes but only 5 min max then would disengage passenger side was fine. Alarm would be engaged by windy days which would kill my battery so I ended up leaving the drivers side open. Lastly, I had this once in awhile glitch with the SUV where if I crank the engine and don't crank it fully but then crank the engine fully the power steering would not work, so I would turn it off and on again that would fix the power steering. Brakes needed to be flushed as well since it was mostly air which is reasonable with an SUV with 130k miles no fault on it for that. One issue with these vehicles is the transmission tends to go out at 130k and fuel pump issues, both of which we're fine with mine.
