Jimmy, check to see if Cameron’s gear door is being pulled down by aerodynamic force. With that contour on the bottom that might be the problem. Jack it up and pull down on it or run a very powerful leaf blower down the surface and see if it gets sucked down. The hydraulic cylinder might have a bad seal on that side causing the leak down.

Jimmy, what surprises have you found in owning a experimental vs. certified aircraft?

Go experimental whenever possible! WAYYYY cheaper and better! Way more freedom too!

Having spent my entire life in the world of certified planes, especially Bonanzas, Ive got a Wag Aero cub now and I will never own a certified airplane again. The freedom and savings, and lack of headache due to IAs is incredible. Anything I want to do I can in regards to maintenance, and an A&P is cheaper and easier to work with than any IA I have met.

@@therealjimmysworld Just because its experimental does not mean you can just do anything you want. Jimmy I deal with experimental aircraft and I will tell you it may be a bit cheaper on some things, but the FAA can still regulate your operation of the aircraft. They can still show and ground your aircraft. I have seen more people get in trouble with the Fed's because they think they don't have to play by the rules. Always be smart about the maintenance. I know the point your trying to get across but some people may take it the wrong way.

Dude I don’t understand why you wanna sell the Geronimo twin you seem to love that plane and fly it everywhere I know that you have other projects going on but that’s such a bad ass plane and did you know that the guys who do the Geronimo conversion now have a 200 hp upgrade instead of the 180 so you could have 400 hp total on the twin and then maybe get the cylinder heads ported and polished and flowed probably could push 225 BTUs just a thought we believe that Jimmy can do anything on Jimmy‘s world love your channel getting started on my private pilots license and looking to buy my first airplane thanks for getting me inspired again you and your family are awesome!

That was a lovely series of short flights that took me right back to my flying days in light aviation when I was P.I.C.. Your running pilot narratives were exemplary, and fully what I learnt and practised right through C.P.L. including my Twin Rating at Ardmore Airfield in Auckland, New Zealand. More, please. Your "GUMPS" check was slightly different in order, but in effect was the same. Our routine was "BUMPS" (Brakes, Undercarriage, etc).
