First lengthy commercial I’ve watched in a while. Great marketing to start the video the way you did! Caught my attention immediately. Mind you, I really wanted to watch the video I clicked on! I could have just skipped to my video but instead I watched the whole commercial. I even recognized the actor because she is on the show Good Trouble. But the product also sounds amazing so I shared this video with my medical friends, who are also women, who might be interested in the product! I’m writing all this to say this was a great commercial: it caught my attention and it’s advertising a product I feel is needed! Hopefully it passes my intense medical safety search!

Enigmatic Atheist I have no issue with honesty or being familiar or comfortable with one’s body. What I Do have an issue with is an ad popping up on RUclips talking about casual sex and using the F word in the first 5-10 seconds when they have no idea who’s watching and making light of it. If you read the comments several people said it popped up while their teachers were showing videos in class. I’m not a complete prude and am not against people having sex before marriage, as a matter of fact I think couples should live together and make sure they’re sexually compatible(as a matter of fact my 8 yr old’s father and I are not married but are more committed than most who are), but I do have an issue with casual sex being pushed for many reasons. I’m glad you feel comfortable talking about your body and sexuality but I think there is a time and place for it and not random ads on RUclips that children could be watching. Yes that is ultimately the parents’ responsibility to pay attention to what their children are watching but if they’re showing videos to kids in school and it pops up(I’m hoping it was high school) I just find that inappropriate. Thank you for addressing it respectfully, you are as much entitled to your opinion as I am mine and I applaud you for not letting anyone or anything make you embarrassed of your sexuality. That’s how I was raised and I think it’s the best way but for those who weren’t I personally think this kind of ad gives the wrong impression and encourages promiscuous random sex which leads to divorce and single parents not to mention STD’s. But that’s just my opinion and you know what they say about those right lol? And it’s not the subject that scares me it’s the fact that people think this is appropriate interaction that will promote a healthy body image and sexuality.

Just because it said clean intercourse is a bonus with this product doesn't mean it's condoning causal sex with multiple partners. That's a big leap to make lol. I've been married to my husband for 10 years and frankly clean sex during my period is a big selling point for me! Also, there is a minimum age of 13 for people who have RUclips accounts, and a bleeped cuss word is probably not going to be that shocking to a 13 year old. Any teacher who is using RUclips as an educational resource needs to be aware of this if their students are younger. There are many worse things in the world to be offended by and take a stance against besides an ad speaking frankly about periods and a bleeped cuss word.

How does menstrual products cause bloating and cramping? That is all internal and has to do with your body in general. My period will start out of nowhere with a bit of PMS the cramps start during that time, it has nothing to do with whether or not I'm using menstrual products

Yep, a menstrual cup seems the best idea since you're not relying on a small stick to soak up period blood. Or wearing mini diapers to absorb the blood. The blood goes into the cup. Also, you can have clean sex with it while it is in. Having a penis in your vagina can often dislodge the tampon, but the menstrual cup tends to stay more in place. 😀

How does menstrual products cause bloating and cramping? That is all internal and has to do with your body in general. My period will start out of nowhere with a bit of PMS the cramps start during that time, it has nothing to do with whether or not I'm using menstrual products

But honestly, I’m still glad you guys invented it because I know that there are straight girls out there who have bad cramps and bloating (as do I,) and who want to have vaginal sex without getting blood, mucus and tissue everywhere. Yep, a menstrual cup seems the best idea since you're not relying on a small stick to soak up period blood. Or wearing mini diapers to absorb the blood. The blood goes into the cup. Also, you can have clean sex with it while it is in. Having a penis in your vagina can often dislodge the tampon, but the menstrual cup tends to stay more in place. 😀
