    If you have Microcenter in your area, the 5600x3d bundle is insane value. $300 for cpu, ram & mobo.

      @kotztotz3530 11 месяцев назад +43

      If you have the extra $100, I think the 7700x bundle would be an even better value(of course if you can afford it). You get 32GB of DDR5(instead of 16GB of DDR4), AM5 so you can upgrade to newer gen Zen 5 or 6 in the future.

      @@kotztotz3530 true if you get a 500hz monitor and play on lowest settings in the most optimized games you might cpu bottleneck. But if you get a 300hz monitor you can play fortnite/ valorant at 300fps. I don’t think a 7950xtx3d can gpu bottleneck a 6750xt in every game. It would have to render 1000+ frames. Games like cod are more gpu intensive and a 3600x can gpu bottleneck a 6750xt at 1080p med-low settings and you can even get a 3700-3800x for less than a 5600x

    So I like the fact that I had a system that I am planning to build and its very close to what you are building. I decided to change the case, motherboard and power supply based on your video so that way I could use your video as a reference to help guide me during the build and plus this build is fairly recent in August and I plan on building my PC in 2024 during tax season. So thank you for making this and explaining everything and I will let ya know how it goes once i get around to building it. Hopefully those parts will still be in stock when I am ready to build :D

    So, I made my own build and then watched this video. I like how it has a $200 CHEAPER price point than mine. However, I prefer the likes of EVGA, Intel, and Corsair. I would be happy to share this build soon. For reference, check out the recommended game requirements of Starfield. That is what I based my specs on, and it turns out this exact build (in this video) WILL meet those requirements. Excellent video.

    • @Coastsandcoasters
      @Coastsandcoasters 11 месяцев назад +3

      @@toomuchradiation99 I’ve a decent 1080p 144hz monitor, and this set up lets me max everything with a lot of room to spare. I didn’t want or need to upgrade my monitor so this build suits me. As for future proofing, there will always be newer, more powerful components, but one look ta steam Hardware surveys shows you a build like this is in the minority, and most rigs run to much lower specs. Games companies aren’t gonna isolate the majority of the gaming audience by only catering to high spec machines.
      Also, factor in the AI boom and the real possibility of a gpu shortage in the near future. Again.
      In short, this build fits my needs for a solid rig, that will last me years as I’m not chasing 4k. I also hugely offset the cost by selling my old parts.

    If you live near a microcenter in the states currently you can get an AMD Ryzen 7700X, MSI B650-P Wifi motherboard, and 32 gigs of Gskill Flare 6000Mhz ram currently for $399 all bundled. I just did this and picked up an open box 6750XT Red Devil edition video card for 350. Got my O11 Air Mini and a 750 Watt PSU and I'm off to the races for right over $1000. Gets you on the new AM5 platform too for better "future proofing", as much as you can in the PC world anyway. Great Vid and loved the livestream yesterday.
    Edit to add-You will also get a copy of standard Starfield when you get this combo. I also got a Premium edition for buying the 6750XT. So thats a $100 game I wont have to buy and I have a copy for my daughter.

    Pretty good parts selection but definitely agree with getting a cheaper good quality motherboard and upgrading the CPU to a 5700X. You can get quality boards like an MSI B550 MPG Gaming Plus or the ASRock B550 Pro4 for $40 less and then spend $50 more to get the 5700X. There are already games out where the 8-core processors perform better and it makes the difference in not bottlenecking and as CPU requirements go up over time that will only become a bigger problem for 6-cores. Not just that but if you multitask or have other things running in the background and are playing a CPU demanding game 16 threads will be a smoother experience than 12. The 5700X is also more efficient than the 5600X for what that's worth.

    Imo you could’ve fit an RX 6800 in a $1000 budget but still, pretty good build!

    I've really enjoyed this video but the question I have is would a 4060 be able to perform well with these exact specs (and a 650w psu) or not? I'm trying to build a pc for apex mostly, and I play on low settings, 1080p and I'd also like to stream if it can run 165fps while streaming

    why not have the i5 12400F with B660 which would basically be similar in price or slightly more for better performance?

    you can get way more performance pats if you would buy cheap mobo and other things and only invest most into CPU + gpu

    I built this one with a ryzen 7 5700x instead of the 5 5600x. Since I live in Sweden the total cost was 1 294$ without windows but I still think it's a great deal (for me)

    Tell me is this good, 330$
    A Asus tuf motherboard from a few years ago, gtx 1070 asus gpu, 16gb ram, a AMD FX 9370, montech x3 case, and a rgb dual fan processor cooler (air cooled)
    And a 650w corsair power supply. And some random ssd from samsung. The ssd, gpu, cpu, mother board, powersupply, ram. Are a little used but still for 330$ is it a good setup. Before I had a 1050 gpu, a older intel processor, 32gb ram, some motherboard, some powersupply And watercooling. Will this be a good alternative beacuse my omd computer has been running into problems

When adding the items to my cart on Amazon I found that the video card he used costs $1220 CAD on amazon. Are there any cheaper and equally preforming video cards I could get on amazon?

      That's a weird scam offering or something, 6700 xt is like 300-400 depending on where you live. Find videos that compare gpus and pick something else if 6700 xt isn't for you but i would say it's the best for pcs around the 1000$ mark
