Hello friends :) I hope you are all having a wonderful day! Thank you so much for watching my video and please share below your favorite nude colors and your skin tone. This will be a good starting point for anyone who is looking for a nude lipstick. xoxo
Thanks so much for this analysis. Because I’m very light skinned, with dark hair and eyes and darkly pigmented lips, I’ve avoided “nude” lip colors because they wash me out. Generally, berry colors work best on me, though I can also wear pinks and reds, so long as they have blue or neutral undertones. I hadn’t thought about using the color on my cheeks or testing the color on my fingertips - great tips!
Genius tip re testing on your cheeks....I adore the Chanel combo - more than the Sisley.....Same with finger tips. I bought a nude lipstick after a nice makeup artist did a lovely makeup for me including eyes. Could not wear that lipstick without a lot more makeup than I like to wear.....love the tip re sheer color....
You are so beautiful! With and without makeup. I want to tell you how much I appreciate that you don't use lip fillers. There is not one perfect look, one perfect type of lips in this world but sadly that's communicated so much in the media. It is refreshing to see someone with naturally slim lips making them the best version of themselves only with makeup. 😍 In fact, your rather slim lips make you more elegant than seductive - and that is not a bad thing. 🥰
What a great video! I've always wanted to buy a nude lipstick but when I tried it on I looked like a zombie with my pale skin. Now I know how to choose the perfect one for me (I will go for a deeper shade) and that makes me happy! Thank you for taking time to explain this topic. You're the best!🤗
Wow….this was totally the best Nude Lipstick info I have seen or read! I instantly subscribed to your channel and look forward to viewing your other content. Thank you so much for creating this video, I’ve struggled for years finding the right shade and texture, and I’m sure I’m not alone! Huge hug! ❤️
Hello Angela! You are truly a beautiful and elegant woman… And I am learning a lot about make up from you. I am just about 60, and I am choosing not to do any fillers or anything like that. I just want to age naturally, and joyfully! I do have a rather thin face, and rather long face, but I was wondering if you would ever do a make up look for mature skin…🙏❤️
Hi Lisa and thank you so much for the wonderful words! It means so much to me. Most of the looks that I create are suitable for mature skin. Try some of them. :) You will see how they work. As we age less is more but I never like to apply heavy makeup even in my 20s. I will make sure to include more tips for mature skin in my videos. xoxo
I've never heard anyone else suggest to test nude lipsticks as a blush. That's brilliant! And I agree, one shade darker than my lips always works best. Whenever I try a lighter shade, it is always a waste of money. Thank you for the helpful content!
Thank you, thank you, Angela for this great tip on nude lipsticks. 💄 As a fair skin tone with a pink undertone, a nude/brown lipstick that is not too brown or mixed with a lot of orange usually works well. I do like Chance from Chanel’s Rouge CoCo Bloom line and I have received a lot of compliments. As always, I hope Angela and all of you, have a great day! 😄🥰🙆🏻♀️💄💝❤️🍀💕
Angela, great tips on finding a nude lipstick! I love the putting the shade on your cheek & on your fingertip. So many times I’ve purchased a nude lipstick at the store thinking it would look good only to find I look sickly when I try it at home without makeup. Great video showing various examples of nude lipsticks on yourself side by side. 😊❤️
I agree with the previous comments this video makes sense. Wonderful presentation, Angela. I was tempted to try immediately some of the nude colors that I never use and your tips really work. Bravo. This will help a lot with my future purchases. I've waisted so much money looking for a good nude lipstick.
I love all of your videos! As someone with very fair skin, blue eyes, and brown hair your videos are so helpful!! I have always struggled to find a "nude" lipstick that looks good on me but I'm going to try these tips now 😊
Hi Kelly, nudes are very challenging for people like us with fair skin. But once you find the one it's really worth it. Thank you very much for watching my video and have a wonderful day! xoxo
Brilliant video! I cannot share my favourite nude colours because I have yet to find any that work with my pale skin. I did however, have many awful ones that are pretty in the case and on my hand, but on my lips make me look like I'm suffering from some sort of incurable disease! I've thrown away so much money on lipsticks by Nars, Chanel, and Mac, that I tend to look for less expensive ones now. I can remember two, Twig and Faux by Mac and Mademoiselle by Chanel that were all awful once they're on, and all were suggested by so called makeup artists. Can you please also address the problem of changing colour on the lips? Every lipstick changes on my lips, and after an hour looks nothing like what I bought. I was advised to put foundation on first, and that makes the colour a little more stable, but dries out my lips and looks cakey. I read years ago to use a colour a shade darker than the lips, as you said, but my lips are very pale, like a very light washed out mauve, with no pink or rosey tones. I'm still searching. I also just threw away Femme by Lawless and one from a small company I found online, Color The World, and two old ones by Revlon, which were just gathering dust in my reject thing, and another one by Ilia. Anything with any brown in it makes me look like I already died of that horrible disease. The search continues...💄💄💄
Thank you so much for this great video. I always wondered why I could not find a nude that would suit me and why I was looking sick. I know. And I know now how to choose the good one. Thanks so much
Great tips!! I really liked this video, thank you!! I find that my “best” nude shade varies depending on what kind of makeup look I’m doing- but, that being said, I have over the years found just two lipsticks that are “nude” for me, that work with any makeup look… a bit pinky/brown rather than beige/brown, and that’s: 1) Clinique “Bare Pop” 2) Nars velvet matte lip pencil “Bettina” (this one is very forgiving if you need to overline your lips!) I would recommend these two as I think they could work for most light/medium skin tones.
I'm new to this channel and I really love this video! The tip about trying out the nude lipstick as a blush is spot on, and how practical when you're travelling lightly. Could someone explain just a bit more about the fingertip tip, the concept about competing with the skin? When I look at your fingers at 7:12, I find the middle colour to clearly be the best of the three, the one on the ring finger to work very well, and the one on the index finger to be the third of them, that would probably look alright, but at least on the finger seems to be a bit to light and maybe also a bit too coral or apricot, a bit to orangw/yellow. At least compared with the others, but that would probably work very well with the right makeup and clothes. So what is this competing aspect? That it is to close to the skintone? I would really like to understand. I love bold colours, but as I'm often going without makeup except as for lipstick, -balm, or -gloss, I really like having quite naturally looking colours, as you say, just a bit darker than my natural lips, and quite close in color. :)
Great video!!!!!!! I think I am dead Angela!! can't figure out my natural lip color. ( and I grew up working with colors). Will try again tomorrow on day light . XO
Gloria, I'm so happy to see you here. You are an expert on colors. Try my tips. You have amazing makeup collection. I'm sure you already have some beautiful nudes. Also try to mix colors. You are good at this. Sending you lots of hugs! xoxo
Hello. Your video is so helpful. I want to ask you which lipstick exactly (name and number) is the one shown in 5 minutes in the left side as i see the screen. I think is the same you put later in the video in your second finger but i am not sure. I confused in the description box. I hope i dont bother you. Thank you
Hi Despina and thank you so much for watching my video. :) The lipstick is from Pat McGrath x Bridgerton 2 collection in the shade 491 Nude Romantique. It's one of my favorite nude colors. xoxo

The only nude - for my skintone - that has flattered me is Revlon Rose Velvet . I hope Revlon survives
Hi Angela, I would like a video on how to select the best bright beautiful berry color. gracias

The only nude I found that was flattering was beige blouse by YSL but unfortunately that colour is discontinued.
