Hmm, in terms of what is “canon,” I can see why it’s debatable whether or not Frontier’s story truly happens. In the case that Raguna marries in RF1, Frontier’s story will not occur. But, if Raguna never marries in RF1 and Frontier’s story does happen, then Frontier does take place after the RF1 main story ending. The introduction of Frontier confirms Raguna’s RF1 history with Mist, and Frontier hints that the RF1 ending has occurred in some small ways: (**CAUTION: RF1 SPOILERS BELOW**) For example, Anette will sometimes deliver a letter to Melody saying “It’s a letter from Lynette!” which implies that Lynette has become friendly with Melody after becoming a resident of Kardia, which only occurs after the RF1 ending. Hope this helps provide some insight!
