Seems to have sold out rather quickly! Which is quite rare these days.
They have announced a restock of the board in different colors that the are prepping for Q3! So please don't leave hateful comments or get angry at the community/designer. In stock is a great thing. GB scams are worse than a board selling out quickly, trust me.
Be patient.
Now while I personally wouldn't get this board, this is definitely an eye-catcher! Very unique layout and I love the deeper capri blue color. GMK Birch would be perfect for this.

The layout is perfect hope more companies adopt this layout in the future. I never use right shit fuck I mean shift.I could see a nice hotswap pcb that support 7u and 6.25u spacebars as well as split right backspace and I think I'd be happy. Maybe a magnetic daughterboard would be a nice upgrade and a knob If possible 🤔 also maybe keep the arrow key cluster flush with the rest of the keys it looks a bit out of place but that's just a personal gripe I have with a lot of 75% boards
I use right shift a lot and I'd still buy this in a heartbeat if they go on sale again lol. absolutely love it. fingers crossed

Been looking a month now for my real first custom (got a NuPhy for starters).
The Sonnet was the only one speaking to me design wise, but mmmmmmmhh a bit pricey.
This one would work, too.
Now for something that doesn’t get asked very often; Can you use low profile switches & caps on „normal“ boards?
Iirc no, the pins aren't in the same location so they won't slot into a normal pcb

Honestly, this might be the best layout I've seen to date, I love the convenience of the F row and also the arrow keys but with my TKL's I often find me using the function Block above the arrows or whatever its called not at all. So to this day the 65% layout has been my favorite but this is really the best of out of both worlds imo. Probably not gonna buy the board but I'm definitely keeping an eye on that layout. Thank you for showing it alex.

I'm hoping this board causes a new trend. It has all the keys I use on a regular basis, whilst not feeling too far from my dailies. Excited to see what they hold in the future!
Looks like it is a limited in stock though. Only 100 units across 3 colors.
As much as I need the arrow keys in my boards, I wish someone makes a 70% board that has a 60% layout and an F-row with F13.
Someone has back in 2021, it was called the bacca70. There's also the open source one called the toad, but it's a f12 instead

cool layout! Wish there was a way to still support a 7u spacebar, but this is sick, also love that it’s barely wider than a 60%, that is a huge win! I feel like this board built plateless with some nixies would be really fun!
It's boards like these that I feel are the *real* point of the hobby; collecting as many uniquely distinct layouts as possible.
(Of course, I say this while having like 6-7 65%'s, but still).

If I was able to refund my Rainy75 kickstarter pledge, I'd probably do it to get this. Then again, this would be twice the cost (even more considering shipping and taxes). IMO the keycaps you chose fit so perfectly with that blue-ish case

I have a board called the Allison that is somewhat similar to this layout, except it has a macro column on the left and retains the 60% layout normally. This is a fun layout, def love seeing such unique layouts to collect and try out!

The blue is stunning! Reminds me heavily of the suave blue found on monokei x friends series of keyboards.
This without the funky bottom cluster and a bigger lip (closer to actual g80) would be my dream layout
4:11 iirc that stepped design isfor acoustics so it sounds less pingy. Something about sound waves have a harder time bouncing around with ridges or something like that

Another keyboard not worth getting if you are from Europe. Really unfortunate since I absolutely love how it looks
Nothing is preventing anyone from Europe from using this keyboard it's not like it'll just blow itself up when it detects it's in Europe. I ran an iso keyboard for a long time in NA so I don't see how someone from Europe can't run an ANSI layout.

@@HimmelWeint The issue is import tax Europeans would have to pay on this, not layout. Soldered actually supports ISO
@@fnvfanMSPR Import taxes fuck up so many of good boards. Since the shipping costs are also higher and taxed, its usually like 30% more then US people have to pay. Im Actually glad it doesnt have split spacebar, as otherwise i really would have liked the layout and the nixe blue
This layout is... exactly what i wanted FOR THE LONGEST! I need need NEED my F-Row and arrows.
For the LONGEST time, ive been just remaping right cluster as arrows by default and using F-Row caps on the numbers for my tofu 60 v2 OR using my other go-to layout (TKL)...but good goddamn, this layout is exactly what i want.
Its compact like a 60% so it makes for a clean deskspace but has everything i need right on hand for working in ableton/various software without me needing to keep track of my layers (im very dumb)
Sounds like a 75% would work too no?
What are the best 65% or tkl keyboard on your tier list (soundwise)? I want a marblely sounding board with but doesnt know where to start.
Marbley sound comes from pe foam, I'd start there. There really is no "best" especially around this point of mid+ tier customs. They all use the same grade aluminum, same design ideas etc. So just get the one you like the most at your budget. Foam tends to make keyboards all sound the same so that makes things even easier for you. People like stupid fish also make pe foam for boards that don't come with it so you also may be able to find aftermarket foams for your board

@@ciw8688 Not really, only other thing I can think of is not picking a higher pitch switch like pom material housings, pc top/nylon bottom is kind of iffy depending on who makes them and nylon would be ideal. I'd stay away from jwk or cherry and go for gateron. Not too up to date on the newer switch manu's in the last year or so though. Been exploring alps and topre. Like it more than mx.

meh what's the point its already sold out. If the selling point is the instock part, then making it limited release after giving it to a reviewer is fucking lame. Do better. Either open an IC then do some group buy like any other vendor or if not don’t mention that it’s an ‘instock board’.
It sold out and the designer could only do 100 units as someone new to the scene. I personally think this safe and a great way to start a business! They already said they are probably doing another round or GB soon. There is no 'do better'. The community at large is so against group buys and then I see comments like this demanding them, which is very confusing.
If you're missing out on group buys there are trackers to make sure you don't find out about them late, like mech group buys and some RUclipsrs make regular videos about upcoming ones. If you miss one group buy there will be a million others in any given week so there's no reason to get salty over missing one
