Feeding dogs for 13 years that's amazing , I took a stray puppy myself and took care of him till he died recently , I still take care of other strays in the street and feed them and even feed them treats , there are 4 strays I feed which has been going on for around 10 years , everyday when I return home 3 of them enter my house and jumps on me or my bike and starts playing with me , this literally is the best stress reliever I have every day after travelling in hectic traffic , strays are really great they actually look after the whole street and are like guards and really the pets for the whole street , I just wish more people like them try to help and understand dogs
You are doing a great work. Have you ever thought about making a few videos of what you do and upload them on youtube. You can even make your own channel. It could provide you with additional resources to ease or enhance your work.

I do the same in west bengal ,district town kalyani & also in my working place, krishnanagar. But never received any support in sterilisation( very costly)or help in feeding. Nice to see like minded people.
God please send more of such humane human beings to this earth.. everybody in our limited capacities should atleast try to bring some joy in other's lives, be it their parents, children or even stray animals. In our house we feed about 200+ pigeons and few crows as well twice everyday. We have been doing it for last 12 years and it is one of the few things that gives me much pleasure, like what you feel when you become a father for the first time.
It amazes me that Indians are the most apathetic towards the suffering of animals. Thank you for the help you give these innocent beings. A lot of irresponsible people who do not spay their pets and also abandon their pets to become homeless. Yes they have to be spayed. Since the government gives hand outs to people it should also include adopting a stray dog. Rightly as you said they are not stray dogs but free roaming pets. Stray dogs in India are gentle and sweet beings who should not be poisoned to death in pounds. These types of cruel activities , bad karma's bring down a nations future.

What many don't understand, these Indian Street dogs are actually very intelligent and extremely territorial. They live in a pack and protect their territory against other street dogs. If you eat near them, they won't ever attack you instead they will seat near you and continue to state till you yield and throw a little bit towards them.
All we need is some awareness campaign. People are not bad in general it's just that due to lack of awareness, the good doesn't know what to do. For the last 4 or 5 months only whenever I see a street dog, I try to give some biscuits or something. Before that I used to be really scared of dogs mainly because they bite and because of some scary stories I have heard about dogs. I am actually still scared of dogs and have never touched a dog. I just put some biscuits in front of them and leave. But there is one thing, the satisfaction you get after feeding a dog can't be compared with anything. And hence, from the past week onwards, I am always carrying a small box with pedigree in it.

India should follow Istanbul's approach to stray dog care and containment, via. nurture and neuter. If the population is too huge, then this is the most humane intervention. It is not right to torture dogs. All dogs are mankind's creation through selective breeding for hundreds of thousands of years. Man owes dogs! Dogs are very badly treated in India. As are many other animals. We pray for a change of heart of the people to become better examples of compassionate humanity.
What is the solution then? India has around 20,000 rabies deaths a year. Worldwide, over 59,000 people die every year from rabies, around 40% of them aged under 15.15-Oct-2020
Why dont they keep strays at home. Instead of showing phony philanthropy of feeding them. You live your wife you keep her at your home do the same about dogs too.

We need help for his treatment .Bai Dinshaw petit hospital is giving good treatment ..dogs back is completely damaged ( fractured) as he was attacked once and in couple of days a car struck him. Dear sir I don't know if you believe me but I do believe that animals go to heaven. One day I fell asleep and Jesus showed me that my dog lucky went to heaven. I believe that when humans fell caring for his Critters God is to bring them home too. What I do understand is that it's only angels and Humanity who sinned against God. That's why Jesus came so people could be freed from their sin. Not everything is good and culture and needs to be restored through the one who created culture which is God. Humanity has the choice of doing right and wrong. But animals only do what they were created to do which is to bring us joy. To speak of God's presence so that no man is without excuse. I know God sees what you do and I pray that this brings you some peace. If you ever feel like you're beginning to lose your power or you're losing more of you everyday please turn to Jesus if you don't know him I want who gave you the desire to the least of these. I was curious in America when we have homeless often times the homeless will adopt homeless dogs. This gives them an option to have something to love so they're able to survive on the street. Have you ever thought about starting a shelter where you hire homeless people and you maybe pay them with food. It's just an idea but I think it might be I solve two problems at the same time
Being a animal behavior specialist I would say, that if stray dogs are fed for many days, they will survive and mate. They increase their gang. This gang develops the feeling of supremacy against those who do not feed them at their will. They group up and attack animals , children and those who will challenge their supremacy. They bark and attack other dogs every night to maintain their territory in the limited town space. So feeding stray dogs becomes a curse. The only solution is to neuter stray dogs(female) after they have given puppies once. In this way there will be less stray and less fights and more food for them. Stray dog lovers can't just feed and say they love dogs. They are just garbage people. If you want strays to be happy adopt them, keep their population in check, train them, play with them and then feed them.
